But we all know boxing politics, every one has a price, so if they indeed settle this lawsuit out of the court then the fight can proceed by August. Pacquiao wanted to pursue this fight, so we can't really say that it's time for him to hang up his gloves and retire for good and let the young bloods take over the boxing scene. If Floyd can still relevant with exhibition matches, then Manny can do it with real fights.

Well the lawsuit is asking for the injunction of the fight, meaning not push through, but to stop it totally. As for if Pacquiao needed this fight, obviously he wanted to fight more, for money and glory. Just like in any other sports if you are in the top for many years, there could be young bloods looking to beat you, like what Garcia and Spence wanted to do here.

And as per update from Pacquiao and his management, they are going to file a countersuit, so let's see how it goes. There are so many distractions in Manny right now, including his politics.

Not the case for Manny, he is already a legend in boxing, so everyone is gunning for him even though he losses his match against Spence. Manny is bankable, and what better way for boxers to have Manny in their resume and they can say that they fought him (although not in his prime), but still good for them.

So still a win-win for Mickey Garcia, and I think it has something to do with the Garcia's as well trying to solved the riddle. Manny beat Margarito so hard that he broke his orbital bone. Rios mock Roach pre fight and then cry after the fight because he lost to Manny. So Robert Garcia's last chance to beat Manny is with his youngest brother - Mickey Garcia.

Manny is only guaranteed $5 million in this fight, but he will surely make more money from PPV, and I think higher than the guaranteed amount. Of course, he can pay the lawsuit amount demanded on him, but it depends on how they'll evaluate the case, if they think they can win the case, then they will fight for it.

Manny is actually confident this fight will going to happen despite of the lawsuit filed against him. He said its baseless and his US lawyers are already handling the lawsuit and ready to file counter charges against paradigm sports. Well, lets see if this will be push through or he will fight Mikey Garcia instead.

The question will be how much money are they willing to shell out for these court cases and the best lawyers attract huge fees and the reason Tyson Fury did not counter file anything and jumped into the fight with Wilder is that either they need to pay him big amount to step aside or they can fight in court spending millions to lawyers.

Paradigm Sports has the financial backing and they were part of the biggest fight in combat history and there is a contract in place from what i understand, so this wont be that easy to tackle.

True, when it comes on dealings and others things when it comes to business talks or some arrangement then they arent really dumb on not to be aware.
They wont really be making out decisions that would really be putting themselves on disadvantage so its none of our business on how these things turned up.
Pacquiao isnt here just for a decade if we do consider on how long he had been on this industry or sports.
