But I don't think that is Anatoly Lomachenko.

Nope, that is not Anatoly Lomachenko. Dont know who this is. Previously Usyk has told, that if there is Anatoly in his corner and training camp, he already feels that he wins the fight. I remember he was in a group of civilian defense in Kiev, but later moved to Spain and resumed training. I think he has spend quite a time there living and sparring. Anyway, let the better prepared fighter wins.

^^ Not sure what rounds, but possible this time, Usyk might show his power because of how huge he is couple of days before the fight itself. Or probably the combination, showing his skills again at the same tiem trying to throw that bombs. We all know that Joshua doesn't have a good chin, it has been broken many times already and if Usyk can land perfectly on his chin, gonna be over.

At the moment, bookmakers evaluate Usyk as a clear favorite:

Usyk, Oleksandr - 1,46

Joshua, Anthony - 2,65

1.46 is about the coefficient that really indicates a high probability of a knockout in a fight or even in the first half of a fight. On the one hand, 2.65 for Joshua's victory looks like a good compensation for the risk, on the other hand, Joshua's chances lie in a random knockout, so it is hardly worth counting on such an outcome.

Usyk appears as though he means business. I think he will win by knockout within 4 or 5 rounds. Joshua will be in for a beating when a rampant Usyk shares a ring with him and they trade punches. Joshua has the bigger frame and more power but Usyk has all the hallmarks of a deserving champion including tactics and technique as well as speed and power.

Usyk looks one scary dude and it was Joshua who is the first one to look away in the face off. So mentally that is a huge win for Usyk already as he has intimidated Joshua.

But that's just one part of the equation, not much of a trash talk between the two. Even Robert Garcia is all respect to Usyk. And he says that he wanted Joshua to be more aggressive? How can he be more aggressive against a elusive fighter. And maybe the more Joshua comes in, the more he is going to be tag by Usyk. It might not be a  heavy loaded punch, but still can frustrate him coming inside.

Joshua will have Robert Garcia as his trainer to help him prepare and avenge his lost to Usyk. As per Garcia, they will utilize AJ  physical advantage in this fight. So let's see if they can do it against a very agile and technical fighter.

Do you have an information who is going to be in Usyks corner? For their first fight he was trained by Vasily Lomachenko father. Now Vasily is deeply involve into Ukraine-Russia war (hope he was not just posing in uniform and weapons and really protects his country). Anatoly Lomachenko probably is also busy with Ukraine or cant give his 100% to Usyk. I would say that who prepared Usyk for rematch is a good question.

I have to check who is training or will the Lomachenko be present in his corner. I watch the press conference and the only one I see behind him is the interpreter and his boxing manager Egis Klimas.

I'm also under the impression that he won't be in his corner or trained him to prepare for this fight.

^^ I don't think that Usyk will underestimate him in their rematch. But the war in his motherland would have some effect on him psychologically. But it could be a good or bad thing, good if he is going to be extra motivated although his opponent is not Russian, or bad if the background of the war will be too much for him. I think to defeat a technical fighter, you need to have a good timing.

Will it be possible for Garcia to make a massive impact on Joshua at this age and stage of his career because Joshua is 32 years old now. I think it is too late to teach Joshua a new style because the learning process is different when you are a younger boxer. I am sure Joshua is set in his ways and it will be difficult for him to change now.

As for Uysk, he is 35 years old now but recent media clips show him in fantastic shape while he was training. No matter which style Joshua adopts he will be unable to beat Usyk, that is what I have concluded.

We've seen that a puncher will have a slim chance against a technical boxer, like what we've seen recently in Haney vs Kambosos. Maybe we will see the same outcome, Joshua feeling frustrated because he can't get his shots because Usyk is using his feet and his technical skills. And yes, we don't know how Robert Garcia has formulate a plan and then put it into action. Maybe they will go like for Joshua to be very aggressive in the beginning and make Usyk very uncomfortable with pressure and maybe caught Usyk with a big shot.
And it is because of this Usyk is the favorite by far, when Joshua lost against Ruiz many people thought he had room for improvement as he was too heavy on the first fight and lost stamina incredibly quickly, then Ruiz made things even easier for Joshua by getting into the ring way heavier than the previous fight which denied his biggest advantage, which was his speed of hands, but against Usyk there is not much Joshua can do, as he cannot outbox him and if he decides to bet everything on his size and punching power then Usyk will dance around him during all the fight.
Yeah, I think in the Ruiz rematch, it was Andy's doing that really case him the fight. He admitted partying and didn't focus on the fight itself as he was on top of the world right now with that huge upset and of course the money.

It might be the case in this fight. if Usyk will not train hard and underestimate AJ, and then Joshua fully focus to get his rematch. It might end up in Joshua avenging his lost and maybe winning by knock out.

^^ As the saying goes "you can't teach old dogs new trick" and maybe this will hold on Joshua. Sure Robert has trained Nonito, his brother, Rios, Margarito and Marcos Maidana when he upset Broner. But this is heavyweight, when everything chances in just one punch, or too technical that it's hard for this boxers to adjust in game. Just like what we see in Joshua, his weakness is boxers that have so much mobility and then fighters than can punch harder than him. Usyk is the former.

Maybe not much of a chance, but it could be more on the mentally of AJ that might help Joshua overcome Usyk. A breathe of fresh air, new training regimen, and then they can sit down and discuss what went wrong in the first fight and try to correct it. Should be more coming from Joshua and then Garcia laying down the blue print. Garcia has work with a lot of champions in the past so definitely he could push AJ to do better, but we will see.

In boxing that is the case, the fighter that is bigger and maybe has the bigger punch does not necessarily mean he is stronger when it comes taking and absorbing punches. Usyk definitely had a tactical advantages over Joshua including speed and technique before the fight but going in to the rematch he also has the psychological edge too because he has already defeated him.

I think Joshua is stronger and packs more punch but Usyk is just really good technically. Can expect a lot of faints from Usyk. He was deemed too small for heavyweight division but he proved everyone wrong. Usyk even though a heavyweight, he can bounce around look fresh for the whole fight, if he doesnt take too much damage. Like Jollygood said, Only chance AJ has is to finish the fight ASAP. Should be an interesting fight regardless.
Why do you think that Joshua is stronger? I wouldn't be so sure about that, maybe he looks bigger, but because of this he loses speed. Usyk surpasses him in speed and technique. At the end of the first fight, it was clear how much Usyk surpasses Joshua in speed, this indicates Usyk's significantly greater stamina. Maybe Joshua can only have a psychological advantage, given that Usyk was in the forces, defending his country, but this is a very debatable point.

Yes the rematch has been officially announced for 20th August 2022. It will take place at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia.

I think Angel Fernandez and Robert Garcia will not be able to change the outcome of the fight. Joshua will go into the fight with the mindset he will outbox Usyk as he did in the rematch with Ruiz but Usyk will not be outboxed and will not be knocked out. I think Joshua will get knocked out within 4 rounds.

The only chance Joshua has to win is by knockout if he catches Usyk off guard with a well connected shot, other than that there is no way I can see for Joshua to win.

Bold prediction! Do you think that Usyk has become so strong? In my opinion, the size will allow Joshua to endure much longer than 4 rounds even if Usyk completely dominates. Now I consider the most likely outcome of the fight to be Usyk's victory by decision of the judges. As far as Joshua's chances are concerned, they really only exist in a lucky punch.

A stronger frame and more punch power did not help Joshua when he was defeated by Usyk last year. This fight could be a career ending one for Joshua because if he loses (as expected) then who will take him seriously when he enters the ring again for another fight?

Joshua was a good watch for many of his fights and was expected to beat most opponents that was until he met Ruiz and Usyk. He never fought anybody before that had the same levels of technical skills and power as Usyk and Ruiz. He did fight Parker and won on points and he did fight a 41 year old Klitchko and nearly lost the fight.

Joshua is a good boxer but he is not brilliant or great. His technical skills fade in to insignificance when being compared to a 30 year old Klitchko or a modern day Ruiz and Usyk... and Fury.
