No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
^^ I think both has pressure to win their fights, so that this mega fight will happen eventually. So if either one of them losses, as you and the other posters have said, the hype will go down a bit.

So its very important to hurdle their fight first, GGG against Murata in Japan, and then Canelo against the reigning LHW champion on Bivol.

And I agree that Canelo will be the A-side in this fight, maybe 70-30 in favor of him.

As far as I can see, even Canelo and GGG will lose their upcoming fight, the impact and excitement is still there when they faced for a third time. It's a fight that everyone anticipated to happen for a long. To settle everything and it seems it's now likely happening, a third match is necessary to negotiate.

Just seems concerned to GGG here how he can deal with the prime Canelo if he will lose to Murata that is not even in his league.

About the split, 70-30 split is too much. Canelo is too overrated if that will be the final split.

If both of them will be defeated in their respective matches before the trilogy then the excitement and interesting factor will remain and the fight will surely be pursued. However, if GGG will be lost to Murata while Canelo have won his fight against Bivol then I think there's not much to expect for the trilogy as it would clearly state that the trilogy will be in Canelo's favor but if the opposite happened then it would certainly generate so much hype and a trilogy will so much interesting and maybe the split would be even.

There is so much excitement between the rematch of GGG and Canelo because GGG was one of Canelo's very few opponents who made Canelo look like a normal boxer. GGG was himself a brilliant boxer who could have won his fight against Canelo had the match been judged by a different set of judges.

According to most boxing analysts, it's only GGG who made Canelo show his very best and push him to the limit. That's why there's a question on whether Canelo really won that 1 draw and 1 win. Looks like the only thing that can be settled properly is thru Knock Out win by either of them.

The 1st match is DRAW on which Canelo claimed he won that fight. It leads to a second meetup and Canelo wins in Decision. GGG never contest the result but others see he won that match.

This trilogy will now put an end to the debate whether who wins. It's a fight that needs to happen this year.

The only way we would stop this conversation is if they will have a trilogy and there will be a knockout. Because if it would still go to the judges scorecards and the fight is close, people would still not stop speculating.

Sooner, GGG will hang his gloves, so it's nice to give him one last fight that is really a big fight.
However, if he wins, his plans might change in the future.

According to Eddie Hearn the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua is almost a certainty. There were also mention that the Ukranian fans express their support because Usyk will do more for Ukraine in the ring with boxing gloves than fighting a war in Ukraine with a machine gun.

I am very skeptical, however, if Usyk has left Ukraine for training, I reckon this might confirm that the fight being on June might be true.

Hearn says he’ll be speaking with Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk tonight and this weekend to get the fight finalized and the date + location for the rematch.

“I’m almost certain this fight takes place in June,” said Eddie Hearn to iFL TV about the Joshua vs. Usyk 2 rematch. “I’ve got more calls with Alex Krassyuk tonight and this weekend where we’re starting to finalize the date and the venue, but we got to the point where we said, ‘we need to know."

I think a 60-40 split will be fair for GGG, in the Saunders fight, that was the split and we all know that GGG still carry a lot of followers.

So it's better for GGG to win against Murata and it should be very reassuring so that there will be no doubt that he can still fight Canelo at this point of his career. Otherwise if he loses or just win in a close fight. Many might view that GGG is no longer in his prime and that it will be an easy fight for Canelo with that kind of version of GGG.

If Golovkin losses to Murata I don't think a fight with Canelo is interesting anymore, a loss with Murata only means that he is fading out and we don't want Canelo beat him to the pulp which Golovkin fans don't want to see if the fight will push through Golovkin should win against Murata even if Canelo loses his bout against Bivol, Bivol is better than Murata as we all can see.

On the other hand, the fight with Bivol continues to intrigue me, what the organizers will say because they know very well that it is of a Russian nature, this is something that has me thinking, because at any moment they can delay that event or simply not happen, the organizers Will they go over the sanctions and betos for Russian boxers too?

Still no update regarding that. But as far as the progress are concerned, looks like the fight will happen as what is supposed to be. No sanctions and it will be an official title fight. They should not involve the match that was already prepared for long to pressure Vladimir Putin.

The fight must go on regardless of the status of what's happening in Ukraine and Russia. Many fans already waiting for the first advancement of Canelo in moving up. Fans also waiting if Bivol will now taste the first defeat of his boxing career.

In the event that Canelo and GGG each lose that battle, how would this be? I suppose that for the sponsors it would be a serious problem and even more so if it represents a loss of money for them, where one of these boxers makes a single mistake and they lose, I don't think the match will take place, this forces the boxers who necessarily have to win .

A good question. Canelo and GGG's upcoming fight is the ticket for the trilogy.

But if ever they will lose, the fight will still happen to satisfy the massive request for the community.

There's still big money that will generate as people will already move on right away on their supposed loss 5-6 months after their respective last fight. It will totally be forgotten and all will focus on the trilogy.

And he is lucky that Canelo has finally agreeing with the third fight. I personally thought that it is a dead end already. But now its inevitable, the two will clash on a schedule Sept, and it's going to be a fierce contest.

Nope. Canelo is the one lucky since it's a big money waiting for him. What after GGG is just to seal the doubts of the two previous fights.

70-30 split might be possible as Canelo is currently on his peak. But from what I see it will sound unfair to both parties and it will end up on a 60-40 split.

GGG currently holds a title and if he beat Murata, he will hold another one. Canelo is a spoiled brat if he will still ask a 70-30 split unless their fight won't be sanctioned as a non-title fight.

70-30 in favor of Canelo Alvarez? Yeah, I think that's fair enough but maybe there would be someone to argue for the 60-40 or at least 6 person out of 10. Either way, both of them have the strengths and power to conquer their respective opponents and I think it's quite safe to say that a trilogy is inevitable this time around. Good luck for the both of them!

I also agree, a 60-40 or 70-30 split in favor of Canelo will be appropriate and I think GGG can't complain about it as well. He doesn't have a bargaining power in the table, he just need to win, and wait for Canelo and then hard for the trilogy.

GGG vs Canelo would happen if the rumors are true, but they have to defeat their opponent first in their coming fight. As a fan, all I wish is to see a fight between the best of the best, and GGG vs Canelo is surely one of the best fights to see

Actually, that rumor is already not a rumor since likely it will really happen. But first, GGG and Canelo should win in their respective matches against Murata and Bivol. It's a big money fight that even Canelo is not interested anymore in a trilogy, he will accept the offer. It's also a big opportunity for him to silence the doubts that he won the 1st and 2nd matches. Canelo will now be able to seal who's the winner by defeating GGG for the last time.

But GG also has the same goal, to win. Although he's already 40 years at the time of the fight, let's hope that he will still give a difficult fight to Canelo who is currently in his prime.

and of course, our very own Casimero fighting Inoue, that's another treat.

There's already a negotiation between Donaire and Inoue that will likely happen first.

I'd rather see Donaire having revenge win on Inoue before involving Casimero in the discussion.

In the event that Canelo and GGG each lose that battle, how would this be? Yup, the rumors have miraculously turned into a reality now because Canelo has been offered and signed a deal with Bivol and of course GGG is included in that deal, now he have no other choice now because he also needs to defeat Bivol. And yes, even if Canelo doesn't want the trilogy, he have the chance now to shut those critics for good and prove it for the 3rd time.

Yeah, when we thought that Canelo will not give any 3rd fight with GGG as he moves to conquer different weight classes, and we have heard that he will go as high as Light HW, comes this surprising news that he will fight Bivol first in May and then will have Canelo in September this year. Perhaps it was all about the money or he just simply wanted to silence his critics for good with a good and very compelling win in the third fight.

Both, the trilogy will surely give them a nice pay cut so I think it's still all about money even if he verbally said that money doesn't give him interest anymore in this trilogy and second is yes he wanted to shut the critics and doubts about the 2nd fight for good and prove that to the people that he is much more dominant than GGG.

This possible mega fight between the GGG and Canelo will be full packed and of course the pay cut will also be better but we already know that Canelo will have the bigger slice. I seriously thinks that the fight's fate is carried by GGG alone than Canelo because if he will be lost against the Japanese fighter then I think that the people wouldn't want to watch the trilogy anymore as it would really be clear that Canelo will win. What do you guys think?

Brazilian UFC star to receive fight earnings in BTC. This could be the new trend among the boxers. The UFC fighter Matheus Nicolau has announced that he will be getting his wages in bitcoin in order to fight against inflation. What's more interesting is that his manager Vinícius Las Casas is also impressed by him and he will be receiving some part of his salary in BTCitcoins.
