in this year only, it would be better if we buy BTC, because last year was a wonderful rising of BTC, so in this year, of course btc will slow down, it may recover very slowly but rapid drop, so this will be a great time for us to buy BTC to trade because BTC will fluctuate in such whole the time, anyone will dare to invest in BTC will have a chance to be rich in next year when the market recover.
From the very beginning, Etherium was considered as a technology "Bitcoin 2.0". In many ways, all the ideas put in Bitcoin can not be realized because of too simple a code and it will not be able to provide the necessary number of transactions in the world. The most interesting is that no forecast says that the course has collapsed.
I'm inclined to believe that bitcoin will be the strongest this year. But at the moment in my case more ether than bitcoin, in the ratio of 70% to 30%. I think it's imperative to have both bitcoin and ethereum.
I like all because ETH and BTC are showing signs of rapid growth in recent years and this makes the cryptoucurrency market more attractive to large investors. Both will have very high prices this year and I will keep ETH and BTC for at least a few years.
Yeah i think rather than many shit coins in the market. Both of them are truely high potential and i have alot of investment in both Ethereum and Bitcoin. Because they both have different features in crypto and both will win this year. I guess they will continue to be their first and second cryptos in this year. The other half of the money will of course be reserved for the different altcoins. 
I think Ethereum is currently experiencing a fairly rapid increase, although not yet able to balance the price of Bitcoin.
I prefer to have both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ether can show good growth in 2018 but so far Bitcoin is ruling the whole crypto world.

Bitcoin will remain as king of cryptocurrencies not just this year but for the long run, but having these 2 coins in 2018 will be the best to have.

we all know that the whole world is busy discussing bitcoin, and it all gets fresh air after the meeting between G20 member countries, I am happy that meeting to discuss some problems about cryptocurrency, and btc as main axis still dominate

I think Ethereum.Because the price of bitcoin is decreasing day by day.So in 2018, there will be good investment in Ethereum and prices will increase significantly.

BTC will ride over ethereum in 2018 as Etherium is over-crowded with its tokens supported on its chain. Etherium is slightly losing its scalibility and its value over the time as par as its rise.
By 2018, I expect the btc year, which is shaping up a new, stronger rally that may reach $ 500,000 or even $ 100,000, which is quite possible.

I think this two are the best coins to make long-term investments in the cryptocurrency. I don't know that ethereum can reach the price or the popularity of the bitcoin, but I think both of them have really good potentials to reach better prices in the future.
