I think bitcoin is still the dominant encryption market this year, Ethereum is a good coin, but the price gap is still a long way off. I think it's still a long time before Ethereum can beat bitcoin.
I think the Ethereum is hard to beat bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the king of cryptography. Although the Ethereum is growing very fast. But I don't think it's possible to go beyond bitcoin in a short period of time.
If I'd prefer at ethreum for the year 2018. Because altcoin is really very much surprise in the year 2018. for example, yesterday the price in the market is still $740, and it's been down to $620. It is indeed a price movement fast enough. And here we can play short-term trading for profit.

if you want to trade in 2018, and then stop dealing with cryptocurrency, then I would advise you to buy bitcoins.because aether is a long-term trade. it grows slowly but surely.
I think to invest to Bitcoin in 2018 is no sense. Therefore I choose ETH.
Both coin will ruling in this year.But you can not compare ETH with BTC. BTC is most valuable coin in coin market cap better then ETC.I think btc will rising dramatically within few days. ETH market will change must but not like as btc.
I like bitcoin and Ethereum. But the investment is very different and you need to choose the right one for yourself. I think by the end of this year the Ethereum may reach 2000 dollars

this year (2018) will remain its Bitcoin year, Bitcoin prices will remain at the top despite various issues hitting Bitcoin...while Ethereum will continue to be behind Bitcoin, of course I am very salute with Ethereum.

I am still believe in Bitcoin, this coin is like Zeus now I guess, but ETH is getting closer and closer to throne recently, and sometimes I think is revolution going to be)
I still believe on both Bitcoin and Ethereum and both remain the best options in crypto investment. Bitcoin is created as an alternative to regular money and Ethereum is developed as a platform. They will be more developed this year. Ethereum has many potential and I think that ETH price will reach new ATH this year. It has much more utility and very well adopted on ICO market. Investing in BTC and ETH is a wise decision.
Half of the money i invested in 2018 will split between Ethereum and Bitcoin. Because they both have different features in crypto and both will win this year. I guess they will continue to be their first and second cryptos in this year.
I chose Bitcoin for trading on Exchange along with cashing into Fiat for my savings and Ethereum to follow investing in ICO.
so both are also in need in my life, I can not choose the main one between his two.

I like Ethereum and it has potential to improve dominate over Bitcoin during this year.
btc being one of the best coins because I believe even though btc is currently experiencing a significant decline it is only temporary and will not last long. btc will be one of the coins that has good price and strongest in cryptocurrency at this time. so choosing btc is currently a good choice.
If we consider the capitalization of only the coin itself, then of course Bitcoin was and will be in the first place for a very long time. If you look at the capitalization of Ethereum and hundreds of altcoys created on the basis of its technologies - then ETH sets the tone in the first place.
