What country is C-Cex located in?
Yuriy Ivanov (C-Cex owner) has stated he lives in Kyiv, Ukraine. It may well be registered in Russia but the location is most likely Kyiv. Trouble is, the name Yuriy Ivanov is about as unique as John Smith in the United States. It may well even be an alias.

While you're online, and seemingly willing to answer questions around here, I'd like to ask you a few which would be much appreciated if you could answer them.

  • Are you aware of the angry mob of customers who are frustrated with your exchange at the moment?
  • Do you realize this has to do with the loss of XVG and how you are handling this situation? (it's been over six months now)
  • What's your opinion regarding instantly paying back those customers (fiat currency or BTC or the like) to compensate for their losses, instead of this replacement token program?
  • Why are you selectively ignoring and not answering the many questions and remarks around here and only answering the ones you like? These are your customers, love it or hate it, but they are trying to communicate with you. Ignoring them is kind of not nice, don't you agree?

I'm very serious and would love an honest reaction from you.

I haven't had any luck solving my problem through support tickets and I seem to be just getting the same automated responses, so I'm hoping you can help me.

I lost access to my account when SMS 2FA was disabled in 2016. I am trying to regain access to my account, but the link to remove 2FA is not working for me. I'm also not able to reset my password - I don't receive the email.

If it will help your understanding, there is a lot of arguing going on over the high cost of moving this ERC20 token around. No one can seem to explain why the amount of gas used keeps creeping up. You are correct when you say it's not normal. It appears in part to be due to the complexity of the DIG token smart contract vs other tokens. That's why it's being called a "gas hog". It really is. There's not much we can do about it right now other than to grin and bear it, and pay for the enormous amount of gas. We all hate it but most of us have come to accept it.

Please, just raise the withdrawal fee to pay for gas and let's be done with this. Look at Livecoin for guidance as for how much the fee should be. At this very moment it's already up to 356 DIG. If you charged 400 DIG and put it all toward gas just to be sure, at this point I don't think anyone would question it. Any unused gas comes back to you and you pocket the change.

That seems to me like a pretty good deal for you.

I would avise all C-cex customers to withdraw their assets from this terrible exchange ASAP - unless you want your coins locked/lost for a minimum of 3 months & zero support (again).

I would, but the 30K sats that I have on there is below the withdrawal fee. I suppose that I could convert to another asset and withdraw. However, the amount is a bit small to be overly concerned about. I already had to open a ticket recently to have them unlock my inactive account. Maybe I will concern myself more when and if the BTC market breaks out of the current bear cycle.

I withdrew 811.96210944 USD to my payeer account P55986115 and i havnt receive it my account yet please check and confirm my withdrawal. Have messaged the support and they didnt get back to me. Is this some kind of scam or a bad customers service been messaging but on support, tweeter and here but no answer. Please give me my money.

C-Cex DIG update (May 27, 2018, 07:40 EDT): The end of DIG wallet maintenance and resumption of withdrawals did NOT happen last night as I had hoped. Instead what happened is DIG was removed from trading for the 2nd time. (No one in there right mind would trade DIG there anyway. In fact, no one in their right mind should trade ANYTHING there AT ALL!) Wallets remain intact but still frozen in maintenance. So, there is movement behind the scenes. Just don't know in which direction.

We are in touch with DIG team right now and they are working on solution. Hopefully they will provide it soon.

The DIG contract transaction costs are suprisingly high indeed, but that cannot be changed by updating the contract itself, according to my crypto expert friend.
Right now since there is very much action on the network the fees need to be even higher than normally, more than I wrote last time.

In other words there is probably no other solution than to up the gas price (25-40 Gwei) and gas limit (to max 1000000) and to set the DIG withdrawal costs quite high, at least temporarily.

I don't really care if you set the withdrawal fees to 100, 200 or 500 DIG, as long as the damn "maintenance" ends. Thank you!

Adjusting my suggested DIG ERC20 gas settings after looking at todays transactions, since the DIG is having a record busy day of traffic. But looking at the transactions, the safest way to make sure transactions dont fail is setting gas limit even higher than 1 000 000 (2 000 000 for example). Gas price can stay at 20 Gwei.

Gas limit = 2 000 000 <== I raised it from 1 000 000 to 2 000 000 to ensure it works 100%
Gas price = 20 Gwei <== minimum, actually its cheaper this way instead of having a smaller gas limit

Hi I'm facing problem with 2FA. I lost my 2FA device and I followed the instructions to remove the 2FA. I hadn't receive email of confirmation. It's been more than 150 days and still can't receive confirmation email to remove 2FA. PLZ help n solve my issue ASAP.
