Yes and it just happened to some countries. they are trying to pursue on some laws that would prohibit us from using bitcoin. Because for we all know bitcoin can cause imbalance in the global market sooner or later. And to prevent that they will try to ban it. Since they wont have any authority to regulate its price by any means.
What exact countries are you talking about?

Can Bitcoin be ban?

Yes, it's possible. Bitcoin can be banned from some countries but people who loved bitcoin will always find a way to use this. They can banned bitcoin, but the government or no one can ever stop us from using it. Even if they banned it, we will still surely use it. So banning bitcoin from countries will be useless. They can never control people.

Maybe they can not control all people, but they can do a lot that will look that way.
The influence from the governments are huge. If they create a bad image about bitcoin/crypto currencies,
and they do that for a long time,
together with regulations like:
- banning bitcoin related websites (already going on in some countries)
- monitoring all internet (already going on)
- banning VPN and TOR (already going on in some countries)
- banning all websites that accept bitcoin as payment option (to my knowledge not been done)
- making an own alternative for bitcoin that will be accepted worldwide (I guess they're working on that)
- arresting people who are dealing with bitcoin (to my knowledge not been done)
With all these things you will control the big majority of people.
Just have a look at e.g. North-Korea.
Bitcoin might become quite worthless as you can't spend it and risk will be sky high.

Yes it can be ban but there are still people will use it on the deepweb as the new platform. The cops are going to have a hard time capturing them because they're on deepweb. The government will think of alternative way for bitcoins and I think they're already working on it.

Could be bitcoin prohibited because each government has its own authority and regulation, so if the state prohibits the circulation of bitcoin and transact using bitcoin then those who have bitcoin can not use it and bitcoin is no longer useful in that country. . .

Can Bitcoin be ban?

I think that it is quite possible to ban bitcoin since it is something that can be restricted. Just imagine in China, porn sites are not really accessible even if you try, and if you succeed and get caught, there is a high possibility that you could go to jail. I believe the same thing could be done to bitcoin as well.

Can Bitcoin be ban?

Yes, bitcoin can be banned by a government or a country. But the real question is, is banning bitcoin an effective way to stop the usage of bitcoin? The answer is no. It's access is through the internet and so users can easily avoid or make a loop around the ban.

Can Bitcoin be ban?
It could be that as long as the government has made a statement that bitcoin is not allowed to develop in a country. But the risk that may arise is that more people will panic if they rely on bitcoin as one place of income every time.

Bitcoins can not be banned because it is decentralized but government can ban the exchanges which are selling bitcoin so it will stop flowing bitcoins into their country. But if you have bitcoin no one can ban it you can use it.But mass banning of bitcoin banning will kill bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is based on its demand and circulation if it was banned in all countries then no one want to buy bitcoins so it will be worthless. But already many countries started to accept bitcoin so it looks like it will be the future currency of this world.

Can Bitcoin be ban?
Some countries tried to ban bitcoin but controlling it and prohibiting its existence is impossible to happen.  As a decentralize and cryptocurrency, nobody can limit its power.  Maybe, they can prohibit people or establishment  from using and accepting it but sooner or later they will allow their people using it.  Why? Because cryptocurrency is the new face of currency.  It is interrelated with progress and future because of the technology and the hope it brings.  I guess, currently, more countries are planning to legalized it rather than banning it.

It can be ban since by states (e.g: prevent buying, trading, using bitcoin). You will always be able to use it with some vpn but it will slows down massive adoption which can have a serious impact on the business. But it will need to have multiple states to pass such law at the same moment to really impact the market. We'll see in the next years what happens

No, bitcoin is a decentralized currency system, with the thought of blocking it if it is impossible and you will not go against people, which proves the independence of bitcoin. Wink

If we are talking about the whole system, I think its already hard to ban bitcoin there's already a community who uses bitcoin, maybe it can be ban in
some communist party like N.korea where everything is under  control of the government, better to forget about thinking about it and enjoy while we
are still in our freedom to use bitcoin as our investment and source of income.

some people confuse being banned with not being able to use bitcoin.

bitcoin is a decentralized payment system. and because of that nobody can prevent you from using it. and since majority of the world have adopted and legalized bitcoin then it is absolutely impossible to kill bitcoin because it will live on in those countries and continue to live on based on the users that are running the network aka Nodes.

but the government can ban bitcoin and some of them have already banned it. countries like Bangladesh for example have banned bitcoin. but you can see people are still using bitcoin.

Can Bitcoin be ban?

As evident by what China and some countries have done they can effectvely restirct and impose on their citizens not to partake on cryptocurrency and though that might not be very fruitful it can be said that there is still a way to ban bitcoin
yes why not if any country want to ban bitcoin in their country then they can bitcoin. just like we can see the previous example of china which have banned bitoin in their country just like that if any other country can want to ban bitcoin then they can bitcoin but i think no other country still thinking about banning of bitcoin but they are thinking about legalization of bitcoin in their countries.
