The Blockchain technology will be utilized by the government because of its usefulness in technology. The banks and financial institutions may also adopt the blockchain technology. It's ambitious to say that one currency can govern the world, so no. What bitcoin can be is a leading currency that is accepted by the public and nations around the world, that would be a much better outlook. Actually it can. But, it might take a couple more years for this to happen because some people around the world are still cannot be reached by the full potential of technology. Also, in my opinion, this is good because there will be less hassle and the time and energy of the people will be conserved during payments. The only problem here is that most people distrusts technology specially bitcoin and thinks of it as a scam.

I think not bitcoin has not been able to regulate the world business market. Many countries reject bitcoin and consider bitcoin to be the opposite of their central bank. and the world market problem is very much impossible bitcoin will be able to take care of and finish it. Everything has its own proper usage and special advantage to the right and easy way of payment system. Bitcoin is the right currency for online transaction and for longterm investment. I think bitcoin automatically can govern to all people in the whole world, if those people who have access it.

there can be posibility but to see it happening this year or in the next year is imposible.. we all know that some countries are now banning cryptocurrency in their country... this scenario will drag BTC to down making it imposible to govern the world... third world countries would have difficultly in accepting BTC as a currency and a medium of exchange...
Technology would be the greatest hindrance it to happen as some countries is not well supported with internet. and BTC is 100% depending on web to make transaction.

It definitely can be a part of governing the world as $1000 bills used to be a part of governing the USA. But there will need to be other legitimate cryptocurrencies to support it, like the $100, $50, $20, $10, $5, $1, .50c, .25c in the USA, for those who cannot afford Bitcoin.
