Ethereum is growing at a good pace but it will take a considerable amount of time to beat bitcoin as btcs price and acceptance rate is still very high. Eitherum has lot of potential to grow time is the only factor to help it expand. ETH can also get more support as it's much more stable than btc. Sorry For bad English. I am trying to improve it.

There is no way that Ethereum can really beat Bitcoin, the only real competitor to bitcoin is bitcoin cash, because lots of bitcoin investors are jumping ship and lots of them are jumping the bandwagon and are rather investing into bitcoin cash.
Etherium has potential to reach heights as compared to other coins except for bitcoin. we cant say it will cross bitcoin! For upcoming 1-2 years, it's not possible.

I think no one can beat the price of the original cryptocurrency which is the Bitcoin even though Ethereum has a higher price too and it is very good coin. Bitcoin and Ethereum for me are the most trustworthy crypto coins I known.
As of now, I dont think ethereum can beat Bitcoin because they have the same problem right now. They have a high transaction fee and people might look for another token with low and fast transaction

I think that Ethereum won't surpass Bitcoin. Why? Well, Ethereum is mostly used because of its smart-contracts. Every day, new tokens are being created on the Ethereum platform. Some people say that Ethereum is way faster than Bitcoin. While it is true, try to recall what happened after the surge of Cryptokitties popularity. Ethereum has slow down since there. Transactions used to get into a block after a few seconds. Last time, I tried to send Ethereum transaction I had to wait a few minutes. Bitcoin will soon solve that issue by introducing Lightning Network to the mainnet.

I do not think so. It is so far to get the Bitcoins position and still the Bitcoin is the king of crypto currency. Eth will remain the second position as same and bitcoin will get the first place as forever.

The chances are less because the availability of ethereum and bitcoin is plays a big part in the prices.Bitcoin availability is 21 Million but ethereum us unlimited so they can make as much as ethereum they want if they do the supply will be high and the demand will be less so bitcoin will be high in my opinion. It is not possible in short terms, maybe in 2-3 years ETH will have a shot to be equal to Bitcoin. I see Ethereum as the general who commands alt-coins but BTC is the king.

BTC has been created long ago and will remain as the "historical" crypto money. But truth is that currently there are many people facing huge issues regarding their use of bitcoin. Transfers can be slow, very expensive... So maybe the solution is to switch to another crypto.
Yet, I don't think so. Because what we lack for the moment, are the technical means. So let's invest in the necessary technology and physical support instead of switching to any other crypto. ETH will face the same issues if people choose it instead of BTC...

It is possible that etherium may beat bitcoin but I think it will not happen soon. There maybe large differences when it comes to the changes of bitcoin's price but I think more people are still committed here. Ethereum is good as well as Bitcoin especially when it comes to trading, but I think bitcoin is better because of its accessibility that's why I think people will still go with bitcoin.

I look forward to see how far Ethereum can go. I believe it has chances, but still, it's gonna take a lot of time and effort.
At late 2017 bitcoin price soaring massively and at the beginning of 2018 ethereum and some alts have a good price increase. The chance for ethereum to beat bitcoin is exist and I wish it will be happened soon!
