In my opinion if you were playing with the particular games and money is involved at there that's can be called gambling and the excitement would be very different if you playing card using your own money because people will expected to be win from that game and if we play card game with not using our money which usually for fun or from free games i think that's cannot be categorized as gambling and if we did this usually we will don't care about the results whether it lost or win because since the beginning people playing card just for fun and entertainment and to spend their time and for free games i have been playing this card games several times such as solitaire but the result is not makes me excited even if i play for too long it will be very boring

can gambling be free? Do free games excite you as much as games that involve betting money?
Free games are games that you played for free that you have no money in reward. If that is what you mean, that is not gambling.

But free game that you are given certain amount in fiat worth of spin. That is gambling but money is involved. If money is involved, it is gambling.

Games that do not require money is exciting for me also but it depends on how the game is. If I am playing it alone, no excitement can come out of it. But if I am competing with someone like my friends or family, it is very exciting even than gambling.

Another way to put this is: can gambling be free? Do free games excite you as much as games that involve betting money?
I don't think you are gambling when you play free games since there is no money from your end aka you are not putting your money at risk.

Yes, you may be playing with chance if these free games have monetary benefits but since you are not putting your money at stake then there really is no thrill there lol it is probably not as exciting as real gambling unless you win.

Yesterday I played free card games on the computer and had a lot of fun and it was also quite exciting. You know, I play different games: both paid and free. And sometimes, based on the fascination and the pleasure I get, I find it difficult to say which games captivate me more. But I would be interested in how you answer the question of whether free games can be considered gambling. Another way to put this is: can gambling be free? Do free games excite you as much as games that involve betting money?
Playing free games can be exciting to pass time because there's nothing at stake, no serious rush of adrenaline on whether you're going to win or lose. I don't consider free games as gambling because you're not risking anything, no feasible gains when you win and nothing lost when you loose, it's just a normal activity. Free games are exciting to me, I can play ludo game, whot or any other games for fun with friends, even with underaged and it doesn't matter who wins or lose because there's no money or any obligations involved. Playing any game that involves money or any other things at stake is gambling because there is a price for winning and something to loose when you lose.

The very first thing that classifies a game as a gambling activity is not just the tendency to either win. Or lose , rather it is mainly the idea of staking. A game can be considered a regular one as long staking is not involved. However the moment the player decides to place a bet on such a game , it can then be considered as a gambling activity. Taking your computer during your leisure time and playing some card games like blackjack and solitaire is not gambling at all rather it's having fun.

Most people get it wrong that playing card games of any sort is gambling just because of the fact that those games are mostly popular in casinos as gambling games. Randomly picking a video game and placing a bet with a friend on winning with some money staked by both parties, is more of a gambling activity than some guy who just sits and play solitaire on his PC without placing any bet.

I didn't get the idea why people can say play games without money is gambling. If someone not willing to stake the money in gambling, it means they're not a gambler, don't try to act like a gambler when you're not a gambler.

Free games doesn't make me excited, what's the point to predict which team will win but either the team you predicted win or lose, you will not get anything.

First of all, free games can be considered as gambling if you are given the opportunity to make money at the end of the game.
It's called a donation, since you don't have to risk anything, but there's an opportunity to make money. The casino will not earn anything by offering that free games.

Free games is not a gambling because you play the games without using money. Some people also playing some gambling games without using real money and they feels excited playing that games. But for some others, they don't feels excited because they can't see the wins moment is different than if they used money to playing that games.

Free games can be excited for some people because they don't have to use real money to playing the games. Many casino gives this to people who doesn't wants to spends their money to have fun and that can facilitates them feels the games from the casino. That will be better for people because they can avoids the lose of the money if they playing gambling and they can spends their time to feels the games from the casino.

First of all, free games can be considered as gambling if you are given the opportunity to make money at the end of the game. Here in this example, you played a free card games, and even if you win , you will not get any monetary reward and hence it is not gambling. Similarly, we have games where kids/children pay to participate but again they do not get any reward for winning, hence those are also not gambling games.
In order to qualify for gambling, there has to be a reward and also in most cases we spend money, risk it to gain that bigger reward and hence it is called gambling.

The first answer is No! I've said it many times on the forum that what makes it gambling is the money or other valuable things you committed it, so when it is a free game, you are actually not obliged to pay anything after the betting when you lose or receive anything in return when you win, therefore you are not gambling, it's free.

As for the feelings of the free game and gambling, the feelings can be the same almost all the time. But the truth is that, at times, if money is not involved, you might still be feeling that something is missing, we are humans and I know the feelings, it's kind of a feeling of reward/loss which makes it more interesting. However, that's for those who are used to gambling. For those who just want to play their free games without a gambling mentality, they will feel nothing.

If you are playing with the free games and actual games that require a wages and you gamble something this still considered as gambling but the wide difference here is in the actual game you are using your real money so there's some extend of additional intent to win the game, of course no one would like to risk and lose their money, in free game you are just playing casually, just chill game make wage, check if you win and that's all nothing more special or you are just wondering how the game works more or seek some effective technique or strategy before playing in actual game.

Playing free casino games with play money doesn't hit the same as playing with an actual balance. It's enjoyable at the start, then the level of enjoyment quickly goes downhill as you learn the ins and outs of the game.

I also agree with Woodie, certain free games can somewhat replicate gambling by having a catch, for example, adding prize money in a free contest. Others would probably disagree, but for me, they're almost as fun as gambling because it's like someone is giving you a gambling ticket for free, and they're usually limited since casinos still have to find ways to profit.

Yes and no. Actually, card games without betting money, strictly speaking, are not gambling and people play very differently when they don't bet any money than when they bet money. But also many houses offer the possibility of playing with play money (fictitious chips without real monetary value) so that many people who at first do not dare to bet money, try to play with fictitious money and many of them end up depositing and betting with real money. So it is like an intermediate step, like a warm-up for real gambling.

If you get a free bet... you're gambling without spending a single satoshi. If you can win something, even if your stake was free so yes, this is gambling.
But, if there is not any "real prize" (likewise demo version of casino games), no you're not gambling you're just trying a game.

Ney...free games as in more like a practice session on the gambling platform  Roll Eyes certainly this can't count as gambling as this is using demo funds and you aren't risking anything to win real funds.. besides sharpening your strategy using  the demo platform!!

Another way to put this is: can gambling be free? Do free games excite you as much as games that involve betting money?
Gambling can be free depending on how you want it interpenetrated , say if you are awarded free spins or a freebet to play your favourite games on the house tab that should count as free and should be exciting for certain...

But if by free we mean "demo" then it's not as exciting though it's a good way to familiarise oneself on a available games and how they are being played.
