Hi everyone, I found a service announcement of new wallet platform few days ago in our forum.
Their introduction and vision stated in the post seems to be great and it also attracts me a lot.
However, I still wonder whether I can trust that new wallet.
Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet or they can never stole any coin because they just provide wallet service only?

Please help me if you have experience in this field. Thank you.
This is the link to the wallet that I mentioned: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.41338130
There is possibilities for that if the service you found is just a fake phishing sites.
Cause there are sites that look just like the original one but the truth is, that site is just a phishing website, that could steal our private key that we entered in the sites.

It is very easy to loose your money if you choose a wrong wallet. I wouldn't advise to try this new wallet. Better choose some other wallet that is reliable and provides services successfully for a long period of time already.

You have to be careful with the wallets you choose, cause a lot of them are owned by scammers, mostly the online wallets, cause offline wallets store coins on your system. I have seen a lot of people that lost their coin to an online scam wallet which is fake and using the name of genuine wallet to mislead people.

Very bad, so you’ve got to be careful. There are lots of good wallets already so you don’t have to be going from one to another, check out Blockchain wallet, Exodus and a lot of them, including Trezor.

Many people have lost their coins because their wallets were hacked. This certainly makes us uncomfortable to store our valuable assets. And I agree to keep coins in the hardware wallet because it will be safer. And you can also take care of the private key and not let other people know it.

You can easily lose your coins if you do not have the private key.
Better get a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor for more security of funds.

Losing coins when saving your assets in a wallet is very possible. But all this time I used Myetherwallet very safely and never lost my coins. But I don't keep coins in one wallet but in several wallets. You also need to be able to keep your wallet's private key properly.

If you want to reach your wallet you have to write your private keys or open your json file etc. If you will do one of these with scam wallet yes you can loose your tokens immediately.
I think you can use mew mycrypto or trust wallet for now for ethereum and please dont try any other new wallet. These times there are too many scammers and we can not trust anybody.
If you are giving your private key someone or someplace they can steal your tokens easily.  But only if you want to use that service for like etherscan and only for tracking your tokens in your wallet without entering your private key they can not steal your money.

I still can not understand where such questions come from. All have already been convinced many times that hardware wallets are the most reliable solution for the safety of your assets. This is a cheap and completely reliable tool. At the moment, the choice of such devices is quite large and they are all reliable.

There's nothing that is 100% secure. You may lose your money even in the safest banks. Hardware wallets are also vulnerable when you unsafely plug it into your pc. Even if you turn it off, your pc might be hacked.
Lol, have your money ever got missing from your bank account? Funny. Banks are safe and you can’t lose money just like that. And as for cryptocurrencies, if you make mistake in the address you’re sending to the money will be gone for good and there is no way you can recover it. If you also make use of a fake wallet, you can lose money through it. Everything here is all about being careful.

of course it can be lost, you better choose a wallet that really has a good reputation, recommended by many people and has long been made. I've heard several cases that the wallet disappeared suddenly, and one more... be careful with the cheap fee appeal, because the fraudster might use the trick.
But on popular wallets, you can lose money also if you do not store your password and keys in safety. But of course, the initial choice of the wallet solves many problems.

all that could happen. if we are not careful in choosing a wallet, and looking after our wallet. because the wallet plays an important role in storing the coins that we have. then we must be careful.

I find it is possible that the wrong choice of wallet will happen, when users do not distinguish what is a good application to hold their coin.

Yes you can lose all of your coins by choosing a wrong wallet because you cannot say if that wallet was held or control by hackers, so be sure you should checked the wallet before you try to used it as a storage.

You can lose your coins by selecting the correct wallet. You can tweak it and give it away for a real wallet. Be careful.

Yes I really believe that there are lots of ways being made nowadays just to be able to get all the tokens that you have in your wallet so always be sure that the electronic wallet in which you are storing your coins is a very reliable and trusted electronic wallet.
