Should Google cooperate with Cardano? I think you are joking. we know that google does not support altcoin and crypto much more in ico advertising.
Not only cardino that threaten ethereum, we have EOS, and many other new coin with great forward looking plan of great tech. As far as I am concern, these coin are only great on papers, only ethereum is real and tangible!
Whatever happens, i think that there is no way to surpass ethereum, not even cardano, and yes, they might have a good product but i think that it is more than impossible to see it being better than ethereum, not even in a few years from now.
I just check ethereum transaction fee and it seems like it is now going back to normal. If that partnership with google is true, there is no doubt that Cardano will fly to the moon. The question is how is that? Google is now banning crypto ads so why do they partner with cardano which is part of the cryptocurrencies? This looks fishy.
People should perhaps focus more on the potential of each individual project, instead of comparing everything with other projects.
Ada sure has potential, and yes, it is a steal at this price. But it also has a long way to go and it has a massive market cap so expecting it to go to $10 or more is maybe too much

Cardano is truly a big thing next to the ethereum. In recent days for a short cardano went beyond ethereum in terms of market capital. Cardano at present has come up with a single layer and the second layer is under development. Possibly when the entire development comes to effect it'll reach high.
Really? ADA widely becomes popular. As it price increases lately from a nothing to something, I think it cause a lot specially to the holders of this coin. I just don't know the current price of it because I am not a ADA hodler besides, I just hear it to my friend who likes it much.
However, though ethereum network overloads today, I do not think that it threatens ethereum. Ethereum for me is the best altcoin and it will never die nor replace by a new existing coin.
This is another shilling thread i suppose. I just try to think to use my brain that it has not even competed with EOS. I have seen so many threads like this one in so many times. When people were shilling for NEO platform and there were dozens of a thread like this one. I don't feel any surprise about that.
And as the result of that NEO has not even placed on top 3 platform in the china.
Competition is not what's needed here, it's innovation. And looking at the tools Cardano has at its disposal, I think it's in the right position to challenge Ethereum. But as it was said, it won't be a cakewalk. Ethereum is trusted by many programmers.
We can see that later, cardano is a coin not a token like any other altcoin. If Google and cardano complete this cooperation and can be realized, it is not impossible cardano can threaten and even beat the eth in the market cryptocurrency.

BUT narrowly distributed icos just like ada could well be classed as manipulated scams?
Most projects on this board could be viewed as scams.
Your posts seem mostly bitcoin bashing for reasons it seems you do not have a deep understanding and pumping already over hyped over priced projects that were too narrowly distributed to really be compared to real decentralised trustless projects.
I would view them with real caution.

Not a fact! Fact is that almost all Ethereum's killers raise money for own development on Ethereum platform haha

Cardano has the potential to grow, but not to threaten ethereum. I believe that ethereum will be able to solve the problem and will remain the best altcoin. Cardano may well be beyond ethereum, but there is very little chance. The ETH network is congested and can’t cope!

Also the ada team has nobody of VB like skill so threatening ETH is not at all likely.

1. those 2 points do not seem realistic in the context of his other million statements and current plans
2. those 2 points do not nullify the points I have made about ada
too centralised of an ico with too narrow distribution = not trustless not decentralised therefore do not really merit comparison.
all icos should really have 50% POW phase at least.
anyway all these platforms are over rated trying to clump everything onto one platform which is fully decentralised is probably not as good as just having many perfectly functioning projects that are also distributed with no single point of failure.
ETH is pretty useful but others are just trying to piggy back on their coat tails with similar functionality and moving the goal posts to less decentralisation/trustless nature and higher tps. It's just a hype tactic.
ETH has a huge first mover advantage and also a hugely skilled team. Dreaming new projects will (without narrow distribution and manipulation) rival them in terms of MC are simply dreams without something serious going very wrong for eth.

In my opinion, rather EOS will become a competitor to ETH. But it will be in the future, when EOS will eliminate all bugs. So far, ETH is the best platform that has already proven itself and has a huge loyal audience.
