As someone who is exposed to gambling and the casino ecosystem, I like to know if you would prefer to be a game owner or provider who has his game on different casinos or you prefer to be a casino owner who has different games featured on your casino?
Which of them do you think there will be more profit in?

It think it would be equality interesting and profitable to be a casino game developer, to be honest. It would be rather challenging at first, because how competitive the game market is, but if one come up with the right ideas, then it would be just matter of time before one's products start to get featured around on the internet and on several big casinos or high volume, with high enough volume then it would be just matter to keep up with support for those games and continue to offer new ideas for slots other casino games.
It would be also very tempting to be a casino owner, but the creativity part behing the development of games highly catches my attention.

In the worse case scenario, one develops a game and it does  or get featured anywhere, which would be quite serious, depending on the budget used to develop one single game...

They both have different perspective and functions aiming at  enabling one make profits from gambling but between the game owner and provider I think it's all leveled to be a game owner inorder for you to see the benefits and be at a pace cutting across different angles, so in all being a game owner gives you an added advantage to opportunity and they sure make it more than the game provider.

There is a significant difference between a casino owner and a game provider, especially when it comes to profits. A casino owner owns the entire system and can add or remove any game provider at any time if he wishes. The game provider will definitely get profit depending on the quality of his games but a casino owner will always get profit because he owns the entire casino ecosystem.

There are pros and cons for each I'd say? I reckon the game providers have more of a stable profit since multiple casinos would be redeeming its services. Casino on the other hand can be stable, but it needs to reach that level first AND maintain it. Though it has a higher ceiling I suppose compared to game providers so I suppose if you were asking for which has a higher profit, then casinos.

Still, personally I'd want to be a game provider. Aligns with my job and I objectively view myself as a person who sucks at managing businesses. A casino would be too much for me to handle lol.

Profit in business might not depend solely on the type but how it is run or managed. There might be some casino owners who are making more money than game providers and vice versa. We will have to get statistics to come to a valid conclusion on this question. But if might guess that game providers make more money since they offer services to many casinos. However reputable casinos with a large customer base might also make more profit than third parties.

between the two I feel like I'd be more interested in being a game developer, I like to gamble but I'd also like to make games that I find interesting, also, I feel like if your games are used in a lot of different casinos it could be more profitable than being a casino owner especially if the casino that has your games are popular and the games you make is also very popular and you are consistent with it.

I feel it’s going take lots of work to get your game to be at the top since you’re entering into a competitive market - unlike a casino which you can get people to enroll in by giving them decent bonus than their current casino was giving them getting people to leave their favorite game to start playing yours will need some extra time and work.

They both have disadvantages (like for the casino owner you’d need a huge capital) and advantages but personally if the funding is available I definitely would go with being a casino owner, and make sure I hire people who have experience and have some proof that they have been able to work with a casino that turned out good in the past.

With so much competition nowadays among casinos for customers, I think it's a better idea to be a game developer, so you can provide your games to different casinos and profit a little from each of them. In every cases, being a game developer or a casino owner will demand being skilled on your job, so you can stand out in the market, otherwise nobody will use your services. A game developer has to be skilled in informatics and programming in order to assure efficient and legit gameplay, while a casino owner needs management skills, besides a good notion of marketing and the current trends of the internet.

Better yet is to be a casino owner featuring your own original and unique games only available inside your platform. Wink

If you have games in different casinos, then you’d be considered a game provider, not a casino owner. Being a casino owner means you manage the entire platform and can add or remove games as needed. The ultimate goal is profitability, and staying competitive is the key to achieving that.

How is your explanation different from what the OP wrote up there? Are you AI summarizer? Cause that's exactly what you just did.

To your question - Being a casino owner comes with a lot of responsibilities that I don't like, therefore I'd rather be a game provider and make money while I sleep. The developer of Aviator has already taken over the gambling business; this is the type of game I would like to develop.

I'll stick as a game owner. I've seen there is higher profitability if you come up as a developer of a game especially if it's highly interesting and engaging kind of game. You will gain massive profits through getting a percentage from the generated profits of the different casinos that feature your game, so just imagine how many casinos are going to adapt your game and it will be that huge amount that you will benefit from them.

To be a game owner means you collaborate to other casino to get profit, which means the more casinos you partnered with the more your profit, but it needs skills (how good the game and transparent the game is) and sales talk to take over a casino to be partnered. If you or your team have these skills, you're a step a head, and this needs a smaller capital to start as a business, the loss is minimal too unlike as a casino owners that need much more capital to open a business and need different games from games provider to add on the casino which also needs budget for collaboration, either it's a fixed payment by X date or by percentage for every game transactions, idk but the payment should be something like that, depends on the contract.

Being the casino owner will always be more profitable; in the recent days, casinos are venturing more into programming their own games, which they can rely on and base on customer demand. Your game, which is very much in high demand in the market today, might turn out to be an old-fashioned game in the coming years, which you will lose your potential in the system and your income cutoff.

The casino owner will always be on the top; the only difference is that as a game owner, you get paid for them using your program. You don't have to do anything aside from a little upgrade and maintenance in the game while the casino owner does all the extra work to make sure everything is in place.

I would love to be casino owner. There are more opportunities to make huge profit when you are a casino. Even the game owners manage and work for you while you make lots of money and pay them the ones you agreed to. After seeing the huge amount people gamble in a casino. I know they make money more than the game owners. Although the games owners do not care if a gambler lose or not, and if the casino is making money or not. They get their pay at the end of each agreement. Both make money in the gambling industry but one is greater than that.
