If the casino asks for KYC verification but does not mention details in the terms and conditions it can still be considered, but if the KYC data required is a tax number, passport or other data that not everyone has then the casino makes KYC verification difficult because they delay or do not process withdrawals , this case occurred at casinos that were indicated to be scammers because they made it difficult for users to request withdrawals.

So the important factor for every gambler is to choose a top casino to gamble at and avoid gambling at a new casino that is not reputable and trusted because you will be in trouble when applying for a withdrawal because it asks for required documents that you don't have so you won't be able to withdraw funds that have been deposited to the new casino.
Yes it can ve considered as violation of gambler right if the casino does not mention detail of what they demand as kyc verification requirement in the tos,  because everything that the player need should be clearly spent out on the terms and conditions of the casino so that the player will know what to look out for and how best to get prepared to face them when the need arises.

But for casinos that demand unrealistic demands to keep the player away from access to his or her account is what have likely not been the most suitable and have called for a lot of questions as to what the extent of the reputation of those casinos,  and the majority of them have become proven scams casinos.

Despite we have established the fact that,  it is important to read the terms and conditions of the casino before registering on them,  we have mentioned also how bad it is for a casino to suddenly wake up and demand for KYC verifications from users.

We have also to mention those casinos that this thread is really meant for,  which are those casinos that demand for unreasonable and unrealistic demands like government-specifically issued data such as tax numbers, These casinos are doing that to frustrate the gamblers and their intentions are pour scam,  we have to identify and tag such actors,  because they are the ones that are destroying the market for the reputable ones.

Absolutely reading the entire Terms and conditions is very good cause we all know that s trusted or reputable casino have their own terms and conditions which pretty sure they will put all there wants, does and don'ts in their casino. Anyways there are still many casino who are doing this even though they don't have terms and conditions in short they are all scam casino. But if a casino is trusted and reputable then they will do this once they found that your account is being suspected or commit a mistake by their rules.

Its always that recommended but people do usually miss it and this is something that should really be that in default or should be the standard thing that they would really be doing on which they
should be putting up some time even a few minute on reading up those terms and conditions so that they would really be that at least knowing on what are those basic rules and terms
on which you should follow and on what are the things that must be avoided. It would really be just that normal that we do really have those feels on getting lazy or in a rush but we should not
forget on doing those basic stuffs on which it could really save us from possible headaches and problems ahead or in the future .

It can`t help you. Every casino has their own tricks to cheat. I gambled in one well-known casino. I was KYCed, everything was ok. Until i won with the 14 odd. It become a "operator mistake" and i can`t do anything with it. Several other casinos had the same(or about) odds and paid without such "mistakes". And i can do nothing with it - there is such a point in ToS. And you have to agree with it or search another casino.

Legally, they have got themselves covered and no one can do anything about it.

But morally, this is very long. It is like trapping people. Taking their funds without asking for KYC and later when they want to withdraw , you want to ask for KYC. This is like some form of legal robbery and something must be done about this. You did the right thing by outing the platform here.

What trap is it when you're not been asked for KYC when you begin but discover that you have to do so along the line in other to help you enjoy more of their services, maybe it's high te we also talked about how some gamblers have been always making attempts on how to override the gambling platforms by fake presentations, attacking them or using other people's access to take over their gambling account, knowing well as how hackers have been dealing with casinos these days.
This is why it is important to read their Terms and condition before playing because for sure it is indicated there that KYC will be required at some point. It's hard to find a casino that really don't require KYC and also has a good reputation, most of the casino that has a good reputation requires KYC. Your funds will most likely be trapped on their casino if you ignored their terms and condition given that the support of that casino will basically send you their terms and condition if you asked them why are they collecting KYC when you withdraw your money.

For me the casino doesn't really care about its users, $2000 may be a little for professional players but for me it's enough for investment in other instruments Grin. Kyc is finally mentioned during the withdrawal process even though the initial deposit did not require it, ah it's the same option in general, maybe it's tricky. I have read several websites like this, including choosing kyc or even having to bet several times on several games even though the capital ended up running out Cheesy. recognize before depositing on a platform especially suspicious before it is already and will just intend to move to another platform, of course it is better than arguing with customer service on live chat even though it is very fast to respond, there is no point. They guide for technical not to exit with the full funds without additional tasks Cheesy. if you have played sometimes forget and are trial and error there will forget about withdrawing and continuing the game, what is the strategy Cheesy

When it comes to financial or values then it would really be that differentiate into each person because we are living in a world or country which fiat currency value do really differs
plus economic conditions and earnings would really be that different too on which there might be amounts to be seen online that it might be small or peanuts for others but
it is really that a huge amount for us who do live on 3rd world country on which it is really just that too big for us to waste. IF ever we do find ourselves getting stuck with those withdrawals
with those amounts then it wouldnt really be that having no doubt that we would really be complying things on whats been asked, we dont care about legitimacy
or whatever the reputation points it do have as long we could be able to get our money then this what matter the most.  Cheesy
Even rich people if they are just starting out in gambling will feel objected, sometimes just try with a small amount of money first, a person's character is not fixated on wealth. Between simple, rich, wasteful, frugal and wise are all random to each person. Foreign media in informing people of sudden wealth in gambling and even falling at a loss are reported in full, is it on this basis that they website imposes kyc? indirectly because of its existence in several countries its users do not care about their data because it is recognized (legal) may be their goal, there is no burden with these activities. Although for me, the identity should not be publicized even if it's a small victory. It is freedom, also because there are some countries where gambling is legal.
==================================================
Thinking about kyc, it's only the initial process and even further withdrawals are not required, meaning that it's the same as having the opportunity to lose money by withdrawing at a later date by irresponsible people, if indeed they don't care about data data and after additional standards it's better to verify in advance every withdrawal, if needed.

Thanks for your worries but I don't think that I'll fall for one. That's my take on it if there goes the casinos that have asked those users to comply and they've seen some anomalies from those users.
Kyc demand shouldn't be viewed as an attack on the players most especially if it is clearly stated on the terms and conditions of the casino,  and also if the gamblers have already agreed and sign up to them so be it,  regardless of when the casino ask for it,  the player should always be ready and expectant of such demands.
Sure, KYC is not an attack on any player but people often view it like that and some people are too particular about their privacy as if they are not citizens of any country. Once you are a citizen of a country with some registrations in place, you can only try to hide but you can't. You will have to do KYC in many places unless you want to remain illiterate and end your life on the farm/forest or do other offline activities. It is bad to the point that if allowed, some people will not do KYC with their banks, but unfortunately, no one is above the law, they must be forced to do it even though KYC is a very good means to have the proper record of the individual to make them accountable for what they do. This causes some people to change their minds about doing what is illicit in certain settings and it is a means to disallow illegal flow to an extent. This is however important with duly registered and regulated casinos, so no one is targeting anyone but must oblige.

However, the issue is that some casinos and companies are sometimes using it as a weapon to treat their customers unfairly. They have this style of pretence which of course they can still hide under in case of legal scrutiny. It is so unfortunate. Also, some people, do not joke about their privacy and they believe that they can hide under cryptocurrencies to do it. They should have gone for the no-KYC casinos instead of crying foul with the KYC ones. More regulations are coming and it will be stricter for everyone over time.
Many times,  what confuses people about KYC is the point of privacy protections and how those sites that are collecting the data handle them and what have been the most cases of privacy violations and the rule KYC collection has played in that direction,  many times there have been calls from the gambling community on how best their data shod be handled by KYC data collectors.
I quite understand you and you are right. This is a very good consideration for me too and a very good reason to be sceptical of KYC by anyone. Nevertheless, no one is above the law, even the government knows the risks but the risks can't outweigh the benefits. It must be done if truly we must follow the path of due registration. Of course, some people can do without it if they go through the rebel no-KYC casinos, but they should not cry foul when the KYC casinos eventually ask for the procedure to be completed lawfully.

You see, if you allow some people, they will always be in the shadows. You think this is good for this insane world where no one is to be trusted?

But up until now,  we haven't read anywhere that KYC data has been leaked or stolen before which shows that those data are highly protected and secured but as a player,  you should always watch which site you give your data to in the form of KYC verification.
Well, let me say that people's data are being abused in the name of KYC. Some companies can be strict about this and protect it 100%, but certainly not all. I have read many cases about this and even been told by a person who witnessed such in my country. Many companies handle it carelessly while some employees who are privy to it leak/sell it out to some companies and individuals too. That is the risky part.

We need to be wise and take decisions based on several reasons. We don't have to fall into trap that would hurt us a lot.
Gambling is one of the things we can do to make money for ourselves so we don't have depends on people around because we don't have money to take care of our bills. We need to be wise and not do something that will affect us in a way that could tarnish our image.
KYC is something we don't have to for e ourselves on or to be forced on us for no reason.
And if you care people around you, be ready to hear them say that gambling should be for fun and it's not a means to make money.

There's always this debate that you'll see here and everywhere. They have a point but you also have a point if you have a stance on why you think that you can make money from it which is visible.

The point is you just have to prove it that it worked for you because they might be telling that because it probably didn't worked for them.

It's not actuall tricky, it is only is if they don't put it in the TOS and later they implement it. However, as we sign on the gambling site and as we read the TOS, you can certainly see that there's a KYC requirement being part of it. Either they implement it sooner or later, that's up to them and we gamblers has to comply with it if we want to continue using their service.

As a gambler we all have to be responsible, with this things happening and we've seen lots of complaints that in the end it's still the user's fault. I hope it should teach us how to be responsible, it will guide us that KYC does exist, and no gambling site that doesn't require KYC for a non KYC site, because there is, your money is at high risk of losing.
This kyc tradition is actually a common thing, but even after kyc, it does not guarantee that the funds are safe, especially gambling websites with ponzi wrapping in affiliates and how they work, not all of them have a bad image for new websites, I think there are currently. Gambling in my country is not legal yet and all access with vpn for those who are blocked and come from abroad. The point is that you prefer to Kyc all cassino websites or choose a few websites that you believe in and want and then complete the Kyc? What are the criteria for cassino websites that you like? I think you have experience.

We all know that kyc is sensitive data, indeed, there may be a few who are miserable and experience due to data leakage, but if the gambling site may not have any demands or problems later because this is a playing website, meaning that there is only depositing money even if interested.

That is the reason why,  I personally will go through with kyc before making my first deposits if I trust the casino to avoid unnecessary stress when I been ask for it in the future.

There are moments that the accusers and the complainants are really at fault here but also, there are times that it's not justifiable that the casino freezes and delays their funds.
Most of the accusations as regards to kyc is all the fault of the player and if checked carefully you will discover that,  they just failed to either comply or take note of important instructions as regards to the kyc of a thing.

They don't take our funds, they will delay the withdrawal until we comply. But with the stories that their funds were taken, there's a reason behind that.
I hope you will never fall victim to a bad casino, maybe you would want to change your stand on this. It is true that most casinos would want to follow the right procedures and exonerate themselves from the AML crimes by asking for KYC at some point, but at times, some will merely want to use it as an excuse, a weapon for not paying your money, particularly when the money is big or you are just a good gambler. This is not new in the industry and I have read many stories which they do not deny since there were proofs. They do this to the extent that they ask for additional documents and verification from those who had satisfactorily passed the KYC beforehand.

To the extent that they will be asking for ridiculous documents, and might continue to reject the ones you had uploaded no matter how perfect the quality and the documents are. This is why the KYC of a thing is so devilish at times that casinos hide under it to penetrate some evil under the guise that they are obeying the law. But with the good casinos and the ones that have integrity, even if they are not regulated, you will hardly see such, or will eventually get resolved, especially when you threaten them with bad reviews and lawsuits.

My take is just balance on it and with what I mostly see when they've been delayed, the casino isn't really trying to take their funds, they're asked to comply something and from there, they complain instead of complying it.
