It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

To avoid complaints ( ) I've decided not to wait for the last day like last month so here it is, July's brief overview of the local boards activity. All charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space so thanks guys for your awesome tools.
Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Nigerian, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards, with a hope that will soon change. Post activity per local board during July 2022 Trend continues and July was less active than June, as expected. After all its summer and many people (myself included) have better things to do than spend much time on forum. During last month 14873 posts were written across all local boards which is a solid ( ~8%) decrease compared to June and 16241 posts. This decrease was relatively evenly shared among the majority of boards with only a few boards experiencing noticeable increase (Arabic, Pakistan). Regarding the most active boards, no changes there; Russian board remains by far the most active one followed by Turkish, German, Portuguese and Indonesian and same thing can be said for the least active boards which are usually the same. Number of active members per local board during July 2022 Drop in post activity is naturally connected with drop in number of active members; during July there were 1188 members across local boards that wrote at least one post, which is a slight decrease compared to June and 1214 active members. Decrease seems insignificant at first but it all adds up during longer period of time and just a year ago that number was maybe even double. Merit shared per local board during July 2022 Unfortunately, seems like last month was just an exception as amount of merits shared during July dropped sharply compared to June, from 7408 to only 5164 which is a 30% decrease. Russian board remained the most merited with very similar amount of merits shared, while several boards had significant drop: Croatian (239-144), Indonesian (423-230), Arabic (432-231), Turkish ( 716-4920, Italian (873-573) and the most affected one, German board with a 70% decrease ( from 1791 during June to only 536 in July). Let's hope that changes next month, but since summer is still going on, I don't really expect a major increase. Merit senders and receivers per local board for July 2022 Just to note that this chart is sorted by the amount of merits shared per local board and order is the same. The only ones that are missing here are communities without local board (Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigerian) since I don't have that info for them. Merit/Post ratio per local board for July 2022 And for the end of this series of charts, let's see the merit/post ratio one. Unlike majority of other months, blue color is not so dominant anymore as its been a year since theymos introduced new merit sources so this 12 months average is not as low as it was let's say 6 months ago. Add on that bad month when it comes to amount of merit shared and you get what we see here, but even with that I think that majority of active boards still have decent ratio, with Pilipinas board remaining seriously under merited and I am surprised that I didn't see any merit applications from their members. The most active members per local board during July 2022 Last but not the least, the most active members across 18 local boards (to be more precise 13 boards + 3 that are still waiting). @joker_josue regained his title of the most active member with 285 posts, leaving behind @Snork1979 at the 2nd and @mole0815 at the 3rd spot. Congrats ppl, keep it up! Pretty massive post, I would say. I know it's lengthy and time consuming task as you need to embed the data into graphical representation with collecting it from various sites like Ninjastic.space and Merit dashboard but see how users can easily benefit from it by having the information from your post. But good that you are keeping up the reports with same accuracy with community support. At least 4 hours of uninterrupted work, between cropping all the images, editing, reviewing everything and, of course, choosing the appropriate musical background (linked as well in the post). Actually most of the times it's not a single stint, but a multiple works left halfway trough and then picked up again! As I promised few days ago, here is the monthly overview of the local boards activity for June 2022. As always, all charts and table were made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space. Again great work by you man and heads up once again for posting the monthly overview of local boards to the forum members. This time it was little late but as you already said busy in some other works and now you have already managed to finish up this task so appreciate your efforts for the same. Many were waiting for the reports and now July updates aslo need to be published within few days so Summer breaks are going to end up with these reports filing I think it's time for some of them to get their own Local boards from theymos and moderators, but they need to be more active and update their request topics in Meta (if they have them). There are such many things which needs to be updated by @theymos including this one and ofcourse if the community support is there and we have more active users for these specific boards then a dedicated local board will just be fine for them but see how @theymos implement them.I would also like to see altcoin section sorted out in that case with other updates. They are consistently being active for some time, even more than other local boards that exist for a long time, so I am giving them my support. I know it's summertime and everyone is a bit lazy but I think some people are addicted to your reports like junkies You can estimate it from how many people have asked him for updates as we was little late compared to his past submissions so yes junkies want to have an idea about their local board is performing on the forum.I had said that in June I shouldn't be in first place. True, you were right this time, but you were very close nevertheless and still had a respectable number of posts written. I expect you retake the first post in July. Now, losing first place by just 2 posts is frustrating! I could have really gotten first place. I wasn't expecting it to be this close to first place. By my calculations, I must have gone back to more than 300 posts in July. So I will be looking forward to your analysis. And thanks again for the great work! Keep going! I had a memory of that. At first I was using ninjastic.space only for Russian board, but then I started using for all others board as well, to be more consistent. It takes more time though, as in Merit Dashboard I had merit/post ratios already calculated and now I have to do it manually. Honestly, I considered reverting back to Merit Dashboard for all boards except Russian, to make my life easier and sicne I don't have as much time as I sued to have. I think I will stick entirely to Merit Dashboard, I haven't the energy to juggle between two different sources. Thanks for the clarification! I think I will stick entirely to Merit Dashboard, I haven't the energy to juggle between two different sources. Since you are only making overview of your own local board and probably don't have huge amount of posts deleted like Russian board, it definitely makes more sense to stick to Merit Dashboard. I would do the same if I was still making only Croatian board overview as our board is very clean with low amount of spam posts deleted so Merit Dashboard numbers wouldn't be skewedThanks for the clarification! _Ragnarok is a troll from the Russian locale who stuffs posts in sections without moderation, and all his posts do not concern cryptocurrencies. It seems that he confused the crypto forum with some kind of social networks, where he just talks about everything and nothing, as if he has no one else to talk to. Its productivity, in terms of meaningful posting and crypto-orientedness, is zero. By the way, he was recently banned for plagiarism. But this is unlikely to stop him, since he will soon be reborn again, in his arsenal there are already more than 30 banned accounts, since 2017. I see a different value from @ddmrddmr dashboard in the "Merit per Post II (Chart)" tab. Yep, huge amount of old deleted posts in Russian board was the cause of that heavily inflated merit/post ratio. That's the main reason why I switched to ninjastic.space when it comes to counting posts and calculating merit/post ratio as month after month Russian board had the same issue. Probably, the difference must be from the account of deleted posts. I had a memory of that. Imho, at least two out of three (it wouldn't be wrong to create 3 local boards either) communities that are included in my overview are active enough to get their own local board and I am surprised to see forum staff so hesitant to create new local boards. I understand that they are reluctant considering how many local boards went dead or are barely active, but still some of those communities have really respectable numbers (both posts and active members) and I think that their numbers would even go up once they get the local board as it will be much easier to have conversations compared how it is now when everything is in one topic. Anyway, I hope they remain active, vocal and don't lose hope. They are consistently being active for some time, even more than other local boards that exist for a long time, so I am giving them my support. I know it's summertime and everyone is a bit lazy but I think some people are addicted to your reports like junkies Yeah its slowly getting out of hand. I had said that in June I shouldn't be in first place. True, you were right this time, but you were very close nevertheless and still had a respectable number of posts written. I expect you retake the first post in July. Now, losing first place by just 2 posts is frustrating! I could have really gotten first place. I would like to ask you one question: why did you not consider the Russian Board in the merit/post ratio? The result is relatively high according to @ddmrddmr merit Dashboard, but I cannot see any particular reason for this. Hm I can clearly see it in the chart, their ratio for June was 0.2 which was below their 12 months average that is 0.31. That decrease is probably connected with Ratimov not sharing merit in his local board. Edit: even though Russian board is thee in the chart it looks like I miscalculated the ratio as it should be ~0.28. Will be corrected as soon as I get on PC. This what happens when I rush with the overview Edit2: there was no miscalculation, its 0.28,on the chart already but that 3rs digit is not properly visible. I see a different value from @ddmrddmr dashboard in the "Merit per Post II (Chart)" tab. Probably, the difference must be from the account of deleted posts. Jump to:
