By far the most active member is a bot named ChartBuddy with 728 posts written during July, which is almost a double more than a 2nd most active member wrote. I will just share here top 10 and you can  find the rest at ninjastic.space

Just to share, that all this effort was rewarded today, having reached the Legendary level.
I thank everyone for the help they gave, when creating content to comment and for the merits given.

Each merit source has its own meriting habit as some send more in bulk, some like to merit more different posts. Also keep in mind that not all merit sources have the same amount of merit allocation which can also affect the way they send merit.
You're right, that's something I wanted to hear about them. I know that some merit sources set high standards like technical posts whether it's about wallets or something technical about bitcoin. A lot of people don't have the expertise to understand that and discuss such a thing in multiple threads so it's not uncommon for me to see them discussing it with the same user for different times.

So the point is, the more I come here, the more I understand how the merit system works. I can never expect all of them to have the same ways and habits but I can expect them to do what is best for the community.

>snip
@bitmover, thanks for the great graphics. I'll probably learn more often about how to make those graphs.

He is the key so hopefully he gets back into sig campaign after his summer vacation is over. Fingers crossed.
Maybe we should try to bribe him somehow, I am just thinking what would be the best way to do it Wink
Even with his reduced activity he was still on top in our local board but Daniel91 and Trofo was much closer than in previous months.

I think we have to help him and find him a place in a signature campaign as soon as possible.
He rested enough, and now is the right time for him to get more involved in this forum and improve our local statistics.  Cheesy
This month I didn't manage to overtake him in the number of posts, but last month I had more posts than him and that is a historical moment that I will never forget, because it will probably never happen again  Grin Grin

We need few more members to shake us up and create some new topics and conversations, but it's still summertime and people are on vacations including our king Slacko.

Unfortunately for the month of August my local board will be missing some of the most active posters as the campaign they are promoting is no longer accepting local posts. Some of them no longer even post on local boards after the manager announced them but I never thought we would lose them forever even though statistically the number of posts will drop drastically next month.
Tbh that sucks, that people are not willing to write in their local boards unless posts count for signature campaign but that's something that many do, adjust their posting behavior according to campaign rules. I was in BestChange for almost two years (another campaign that doesn't count local boards posts) and I never stopped being active in my local board.

Rikafip, looks like you should correct a bit about the Turkish merit distribution because the actual number on the chart is Turkish (716-492), it's not a big mistake but maybe you forgot to press the shift key while closing the brackets.  Cheesy
You are right, I forgot to press shift so I wrote "0" instead of ")". Anyway, its been corrected now and it looks like I will have to start proofreading these overviews before publishing.  Cheesy

The only thing that actually surprised me was info that the amount of merits distributed during July fell a lot compared to June, as much as 30%.
Very interesting.
It seems that all members with a lot of merits were on vacation during July  Grin
Yep, that was a huge drop, might even be a record one as I don't remember number of merits dropping so much in two and a half years since I am making these overviews. Big part of the reason for this drop is June which was great in terms of merit shared so that affected July. By the way, more merits was shared during July (5164) than May (4809) so situation ain't that bad as it looks at first.

Thank you Rikafip for another very interesting analysis of our forum, although in fact we could all already guess in advance what the results and trends would be  Cheesy
Given that the trend of decreasing activity on the forum has been going on for a very long time, it would be a real surprise if the trends changed in the summer months, when normally we always have a decrease in activity on the forum.

I think Croatian local forum could finally improve statistics in next few months if our newly activated member keeps his interest for Bitcoin despite recent market crash (again).

To avoid complaints ( Grin) I've decided not to wait for the last day like last month so here it is, July's brief overview of the local boards activity.
Rikafip I have to say you are improving your monthly reports and fighting laziness in the same time  Cheesy

We can't count on this bot. Besides being a bot, it posts every hour... that's unbeatable!   Tongue

In my case, I think sixth place (or fifth if not counting the bot) is a good place. I'm glad.  Cheesy

Sixth place... not bad, among the hundred active users. Thanks for the bills.  Smiley
Hundreds? More like ~10,000 members that wrote at least 1 post last month.

I wonder who is at number one and how many posts they are making if he is at sixth place?

According to Ninjastic.space you wrote exactly 352 (unless some were deleted as ninjastic space counts those too) posts during July, which makes you the 6th most active forum member in that period. In the same period I wrote only 132 posts, making me 159th most active forum member...
This is really big number of posts and appreciate you all for spending so much time on the forum writing hundred of posts within a month as usually I also make over 100 post on the forum but don't think so have gone over 300 in a single month only.So @joker_jouse is quite dedicated in this matter.I wonder who is at number one and how many posts they are making if he is at sixth place?

I read a monthly  update about the Indonesian local board that @skarais posted a few days ago. The decrease in the number of rewards there is very pronounced because last month (June) the number of merit distributed reached 423. For the month of July the number fell very sharply where there were only 230 merit distributed based on the posted data.
Right about that, we went down in July but I really hope we'll do better in August.
The amount of merit distributed in the local board is reflected in how many posts actually deserve it. The more users who are active each month to create posts, the more likely the merit count will be distributed, and I hope we can fix that in August.

Some non- merit source users like me ran out of sMerit last month, so I think that has impacted the stats. I'm also assuming the same thing happened to some other users so the merit distribution in July looks down, so it's not only affected by a factor of 1 merit per tx by merit source or non-merit source. I hope you understand.

Two years ago I did make similar overview for the English speaking part of the forum. I often thought about restarting that again, and might do it after summer is over. Then again, I am already often slacking with this one and God knows what would happen if I start making another one.  Cheesy

This is really a very complicated task. Stay focused on this one, which is already quite interesting.   Wink

Apparently yes, if we are talking about posting only in local sections. If you take into account the posting throughout the forum, then you are far from the only one who was able to write more than 200 posts in July.

Keep in mind that I only counted the posts in local boards. Tbh, I don't think that I ever wrote 200 posts in one month so kudos to all that manage to do that. But yeah, its expected that numbers will be lower during summer.

Yes, I know that.

Am I the only one on the entire forum that made more than 200 posts? The @Snork1979 still hit the 200 mark.
Clearly Bitcointalk is in vacation mode!   Cool

Rikafip, is the data for June accurately presented here? Maybe for July?
Data is correct (for July), its the title that was wrong. Since I am lazy I usually just copy/paste the titles from the previous overview so that's how June ended up in the title. Anyway thanks for correcting me, its been sorted now.

Last but not the least, the most active members across 18 local boards (to be more precise 13 boards + 3 that are still waiting). @joker_josue regained his title of the most active member with 285 posts, leaving behind @Snork1979 at the 2nd and @mole0815 at the 3rd spot. Congrats ppl, keep it up!

I will start working on my review this night, after watching Stranger Things finale!

Do you want to see that the guys are updating their Netflix views and that's why they don't come to the forum?  Roll Eyes

@fillippone you want a spoiler!?

Husna QA and ETFbitcoin are two merit source there, but I rarely see them sending merit more than 1 per tx where it can also affect the amount of merit distribution in local board. Some time ago I also posted a table about the distribution of merit during 2022 for each month, here's how it looks
Each merit source has its own meriting habit as some send more in bulk, some like to merit more different posts. Also keep in mind that not all merit sources have the same amount of merit allocation which can also affect the way they send merit.

Your comment reminded me of idea that I had before about making another chart, that will show merit per tx across all local boards. Since I have some free time on my hands today, here it is.

Very nice work as usual.
This month it’s me slacking (got distracted by other things, also Bitcoin related).

So this time you decided to submit the monthly report few days earlier like the old days which is great man and thanks for putting it up and I see lot of members take help from the same to have an idea about how their local board is performing on the forum. As usual the report seems good and will look into the details shortly.

Husna QA and ETFbitcoin are two merit source there, but I rarely see them sending merit more than 1 per tx where it can also affect the amount of merit distribution in local board.
The thing is you have merit source appointed who are actively sending merits even if it's 1 per TX as there are applications pending for some board and it's hard for them to get merits on their local board. Each source has his own way of distributing smerits on the forum and many send 1-2 in each TX but regular giveaway is necessary man.

Very nice work as usual.

It's completely fine as last time your report was ready and this time it can take some time as it's time consuming process collecting all the data from different resources and then compiling them in visual format also.So just finish off the final season and many are waiting for your report as well.
