Sorry, I missed this response somehow. As a promoter of chips.gg, we defend for chips.gg by default. But when some users have valid point against the platform, we cannot deny that. There are some rooms for chips.gg to improve. Honestly, I haven't seen a casino write an Article about restricted region instead of mentioning them all in their TOS page. So, my suggestion would be please modify your TOS page and add the list of the restricted countries/regions.
I agree that it needs to be written in ToS, the official place for important terms of any platform and its services, and articles are only supplementary places for users, but should never be the original place for these important information. Articles can take information from ToS, and it's fine.

I agree with your suggestion.

However, when I click on sign up, the first thing Chips.gg is asking is where I am from. I mean I have to select my country. It seems the restricted countries are available to select as well. If chips.gg does not allow players from those countries, why do you even allow to pick their country name? Let's say they selected Germany, why don't you ban their account right after they sign up? I hope these points make sense and Chips.gg will work on those things.
From your description on how an account registration at Chips.gg is, I think it's fine if they ban a new registered user immediately after they detect the IP address is from a restricted location or the user select a country from restricted countries.

It's only bad if they don't ban users from restricted countries, even they know that, and let users betting, then pull the ban card after a big win and big withdrawal request.

Hello, we clearly list all restricted countries here:

but, Just be careful, it could be draw when I look at how they always nervous when meet the big team like PSG
Arsenal will look like an average team when competing in European tournaments, even if I'm not mistaken, during their heyday with Arsene Wenger, nothing good happened in European tournaments. However, it could be different this season, with a different competition format it will give Arsenal the opportunity to do more and against PSG I think Arsenal will win but the score will be very close 1-0, because of their nervousness when they are ahead they will start to play more defensively to maintain their lead.
Yeah, I guessed the wrong prediction for this time also, Arsenal won 2 different goals two days ago. But even I tell it draw, I bet on Arsenal on that time, and just won a small bet also. And, congrats to tvplus006 who just won Chips.gg | UCL Score Prediction He guessed a correct prediction score 2-0 for arsenal. but there are no people guess the correct total corner (6 corners) during the match. It looks both played carefully to throw away the ball (same like inter vs red star). It's different when i look how Barcelona vs Young boy played which has 12 totals corner kick.

I have checked on this user's screenshot. He claimed he does not own an account at the casino but posts a screenshot that shows a Session ID, IP and Device - details that can only originate from an active session. It is probably not from the actual site, I asked 2 friends if they get this Pop-Up, neither of them does.
If you check his profile, you can see he is an affiliate of the casino and benefits financially from them blossoming.
I forgot that I was using VPN during a session and was connected to a different country (I always use it). Now I visited Chips.gg without a VPN and can confirm that I didn't receive a pop-up message. elro123 says truth. Even with German VPN too, which I tested the second time, there was no pop-up for me.

If you check his profile, you can see he is an affiliate of the casino and benefits financially from them blossoming.
Mate, I am not affiliated. I am a regular user who rents a signature space. I am always on the side of truth. Please, do not speak about me that way because I haven't done anything wrong or dishonest.

I personally think that Chips.gg has to include the list of restricted countries in their ToS. As an user, I can say that there is no popup if you visit a website from Germany, also, Germany isn't listed in ToS as a restricted country, there is also no url in ToS that directs you into a bigger list of restricted countries. Overall, it's very hard to find the information about restricted countries. If I am wrong, please, anyone, correct me.

I hope that everything will go smoothly between you and Chips.gg

For various legal or commercial reasons, we do not permit accounts to be opened or used by customers resident in certain jurisdictions, including the United States of America (and her dependencies, military bases and territories), Australia, United Kingdom, Estonia, Netherlands or other restricted jurisdictions (“Restricted Jurisdiction”) as communicated by us from time to time. By using the Website you confirm you are not a resident in a Restricted Jurisdiction.

But even there they don't list Germany, they call it "other restricted jurisdictions" that they "communicate from time to time" - which is basically a placeholder to ban any player at any given time of their liking.
You have to accept it before using, it's part of their business and all business will write their Terms of Service like this.

If their platform detects you are from Germany, and block you immediately, it's good because they don't allow you to use their platform. If you're wondering what is reason, you can ask them and perhaps they will say, Germany is in other restricted jurisdictions.

Additionally, restricted areas can be changed with time because geopolitical problems change with time too. Like before 2022, it's hard to believe that Russia will be sanctioned almost worldwide.

You can try accessing it with a VPN on German IP - there won't be any pop-up.
As per my screenshots in the Scam Accusations Thread I've mentioned (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/beware-of-chipsgg-casino-dedicated-to-robbing-their-players-5511521) you can see that I told the VIP Manager (who invited me to the platform) that im from Germany and asked if any KYC problems would arise. Because I know from experience that all the major EU countries are restricted in many casinos.

Tried already accessing the casino with German IP with the use of VPN and you’re right that user with German IP can access it without any pop-up message however I’m not really sure in case of user that using German IP without VPN since there’s a case casino doesn’t restrict an IP from VPN but this is pretty rare.
From my experience, the IP address is that obtained from VPN works in no different way like the normal IP address of a user in any country. So you tried access chips.gg from a German IP with a help of a VPN, and there was no notice proferred to you that you are accessing the casino from a restricted area or country, rest assured that that's exactly how it also will be or is if you are visiting the casino under or with a German IP address without the use of VPN.

And let me say that I also did the same thing, i did tried visiting the casino with my premium VPN, which offers a dedicated IP address, on like the free ones that offer shared IP, and the result is exactly the same thing, there was no pop up indicating or warning me that I am visiting from a restricted country.

@chips.gg, can you verify whether this user doesn’t use VPN or some sort of tool to bypass country restrictions? Because as some user pointed out, Your full list of restricted country is not written on the ToS but rather on separate article which will cause assumption that their country is not restricted since most user refers only in the general ToS.

@elro123 realistically speaking, The chance of getting your original profit is slim if Germany is really listed on restricted country despite it was hidden that’s what the license/law dictates. Also it’s just odd that other user with same country as your get a prompt warning when they access the casino while in your case it doesn’t have.

I have checked on this user's screenshot. To clarify everything about the affiliate link, they are not personally advertising the affiliate but rather they are just part of signature campaign of this casino. Their opinion is based on their personal thoughts maybe there’s some bias on their opinion but they are just posting on their own without any personal gain.

Now if you can provide proof about other user experiencing the same then this is a valid case for Chips.gg to update their casino restrictions since a restricted country can still access their casino.

This part of their ToS says everything about the intent of this casino:

You are aware that the right to access and use the website and any products there offered, may be considered illegal in certain countries. We are not able to verify the legality of service in each and every jurisdiction, consequently, you are responsible in determining whether your accessing and using our website is compliant with the applicable laws in your country and you warrant to us that gambling is not illegal in the territory where you reside. This is always the tricky that’s why you should do due diligence or even ask the support just to double check to avoid problem since an opportunity of winning huge amount is very rare to happened. Let’s just wait for chips if they will give you consideration.

Thanks, I get that EXACT message when I go to Rollbit, but not on chips.gg

Okay. There is a scope for you to blame chips.gg that they did not pop up like another casino that you are accessing their website from a restricted region. But, there is nothing really wrong to ban an account if the user is from a restricted region. When you sign up for on a casino, you are supposed to read the terms and conditions so you don't blame them later. But, I know it's a common thing that people accept the TOS without even reading it. But, when it comes to country restriction and KYC related things, you should have checked them when you sign up on that platform. At the same time, I will suggest chips.gg to make some changes when someone access their website from a restricted region to avoid creating drama.

I appreciate your response as a Chips.gg affiliate - but please read my statements thoroughly before making false accusations.

1. I did read the TOS, it does not exclude german users - the restricted countries are hidden in a sub page that has no direct links to Chips.gg Main page/TOS.
2. Their VIP Manager had full information about me being from germany and still invited me to the page + IP Geolocation logs that the site has.
3. I agree that the account can be closed - but not without letting me withdraw my money.

There is no pop-up for me at all. Tried 3 different devices, may you share a screenshot of that pop-up on your end just out of curiosity?
Matter of fact is that not letting me withdraw my money, is a practice of scamming. They allowed me to register, had full information that I’m German and playing from Germany, let me deposit, withdraw all no problem but when I won something they pulled their trap card. Their VIP Manager even offered me limit increases and bonuses while knowing I’m from Germany.
Here it is:

I wasn’t sure if I should respond to a troll (who promotes the shady casino) but I’ll do it anyway:
I am not a troll and I do not promote a shady casino.

I’m always checking if casinos I sign up to accept me, which is why I read the TOS.
When I visit their website popup comes and I read: For legal reasons, this website and its services are not available in your country. Didn't such a popup appeared on your screen?

Chips.gg hide their restricted country list in a help page (that is linked nowhere on their actual casino), how is that legit? It is their intent to do it this way, so they can attempt to steal users money pointing their fingers at them. Show me one legitimate casino that hides that list on a subpage, which is not linked anywhere on the site. You won’t find one.
Legit casinos won’t let you into the site, by warning you that they are not offering their services in your jurisdiction. And definitely they would not confiscate your money for letting you play knowingly from a restricted country.
I checked Chips.gg from a VPN, from a country that's allowed and I was unable to find the list restricted countries in ToS. As I see from Google cache, they had this list in FAQ and ToS page but now they don't have. By the way, it should really be stated in ToS too, I agree with you on that.

Guys, be very careful with this casino.
They banned me after completing KYC and have confiscated 2801 USDT of my winnings, stating that I'm playing from a restricted country (pulled up a list that is within their live chat - nowhere to be seen on terms or on the site directly) and therefore they will confiscate my money.

All further contact attempts have been ignored.
Worth to mention that they knew from my IP, from their VIP manager and from the site itself, that I'm playing from Germany. Also allowed me to withdraw earlier, just when I won big they pulled that card to scam me of my money. Found people that experienced something very similar.

So to sum up: If you're playing from within the EU - they will ban your account once you win enough.
Mate, there is nothing wrong with Chips.gg. Check my old post: Sadly, my country is Germany and I can't gamble to test games but from what I see, everything looks nice.
I'm from Germany like you and I haven't registered on Chips despite the fact that I participate in their campaign. Before registration, I checked their ToS and saw that Germany is restricted.
This is my advice for you, always check ToS of every website to be sure that casino where you want to register, allows you to gamble from Germany.
