LowDifficultyShare errors are, as you probably know, the error you get if mining on the wrong algorithm.
AFAIK Stellite uses "Cryptonight Stellitev4" and no longer uses "Cryptonight7"

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2813261.2520

A couple of miners that now support Stellite:
SRBminer v1.6.5, https://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/cryptonight-lite-v7/
xtl-stak v2.4.4, https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtl-stak/releases

Thanks for the reply. Yes I guessed it was something to do with the algorithm but I hadn't noticed that stellite was using its own algorithm called "Cryptonight Stellitev4".  I guess that makes sense as to why this has miner has now stopped working, so thanks for that.

I already had xmr-stak configured, so I just pointed that at one of the pools and whilst it does mine, I am struggling to get it to work well. I could never get it to mine as well as Claymore and it keeps crashing despite the settings and performance I am using, so I'll take a look at the other miners you mentioned.

Do you think there is any likely hood that *this* version of Claymore's cryponight miner will be modified to cope with the new variant of algorithm?

Thanks
J

I think there was a mention that Claymore will no longer support this Cryptonight miner, so looks like we will have to look elsewhere for miners for other Cryptonight variants.

Hi Guys,
New to the forum.
I've got a problem trying to switch my Claymore miner over to Stellite, it doesn't matter what I do, all I get are LowDifficultyShare errors. I can mine Electroneum just fine, and Monero also works using the -pow7 switch, so I know it is switching to the right algorithm. However I have tried 5 different stellite pools and they all give LowDifficultyShare errors.

I've tried playing with the some of the command line options by setting dmem to 0 and also tried reducing the hashcount right down, but neither make any difference.

Any ideas why the claymore miner isn't working?

My rig is 2x470 and 2x570.
Thanks
J

Is there another cryptonight miner that we can tune GPUs in the command line like this one ?

SRBminer has many command line parameters, but no clock or voltage settings (AFIK). but many people use OverdriveNTool for clock and voltage setting instead of Claymores option.

That windows update was definitely what is was.
Now I have to figure out how to tweak things in this setup around this mess it left.
6 out of 8 of the RX570 cards mine at 220 instead of the 780 they were. None of my earlier settings are giving me the results I had before. I will keep adjusting.
Great heads up on that win update thanks.

Edit: I got it. Was another update that was stuck. I fixed that. All is good now.

Noted and thanks. I will try that now and let you know.

I am getting something odd I have not gotten before with a RX 570 rig, its got to be something simple. Any ideas?
The error is as follows.
GPU 1,  GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

try my suggested post above

after update win 10 to build 1803

GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

1 of 6 gpu

every time another gpu have that error
You should roll back to the previous version and disable the windows update...

Or try to lower your -h value

if no -h value to your config, try to use "-dmem 0" option

some of my rigs resolved with this option

Hi,

will there be a Cryptonight Heavy support? Would be needed much......

Unfortunately, none

Support has been already ended and no update yet if CM will continue this

Try other other mining software out there

Miner working well but could You implement HAVEN, LOKI, SUMOKOIN or other CryptoNight coins in Your miner?
Claymore stopped developing his miner. This product will no longer be supported.

It seems the performance of SRB on older AMD cards are not satisfactory.
For my Asus RX 560 2Gb with Claymore's for cn/cn-v7- 495 h/s, with SRB - 515 h/s Wink

Thank you I'll take a look at them ASAP
Try SRBMiner. Supported algos:
- Cryptonight
- Cryptonight Lite
- Cryptonight V7
- Cryptonight Lite V7
- Cryptonight Heavy
- Cryptonight Haven
- Cryptonight Fast
- Cryptonight BitTube V2
- Cryptonight StelliteV4
- Cryptonight ArtoCash
- Cryptonight Alloy
- Cryptonight B2N
- Cryptonight MarketCash
- Cryptonight Italo

SRBminer certainly has an impressve list of Cryptonight algos it can mine, and a low dev fee of only 0.85%, but my rig is a little bit temperamental and does not like switching pools every 2 hours, so for me at least the free Claymore miner is the best option.
