Well... i think you need to work some hours to optimize your rigs. It´s not so difficult and you´ll get much more hashrate and less power comsumption (this means longer life for your gpu´s too).

This is a present for you, a complete guide step by step to tune up your rigs:  https://mining.help
It´s writen to improve your ether rigs, but there´s a tab with the xmr/criptonight settings.

Regards.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet

Thanks!

Edit:  Yeah, I believe I recently saw this on Voskcoin YouTube channel and bookmarked it the other day.  I've been so busy with the mining room remodel at my dad's place and my place I simply haven't had time.

Hi David,

Take a look about oc settings on RX 480 and 580´s, these cards need more core mv on cryptonight than eth. It depends the core speed youre mining at.

For example, if you normaly mine eth @1180 and undervolt 800-850mV, in cryptonight V7 you need 950mV at least.
This is not meaning more power consumption, whereas cryptonight is less intensive algo than ethash.

Hope it fix your 0Hs problem with these gpus-

Regards.

Well, don't kick me in the arss when I tell you this but all of my AMD cards are STOCK.  Absolutely no MSI Afterburner or BIOS mod on the AMD cards.  I have used MSI Afterburner on all my NVIDIA 1080 ti rigs for ZEC to get 700 H/s for each card at 1340 watts for 6 card rigs.  But NOTHING has ever been done to my AMD rigs other than the Blockchain AMD driver update.

I have:
8 x NVIDIA 1080 Ti 6 card rigs
2 x NVIDIA 1070 Ti 6 card rigs
4 x AMD R9 380 6 card rigs
2 x AMD R9 390 6 card rigs
1 x AMD RX 580 7 card rig
4 x AMD R9 Fury 6 card rigs
16 x AMD RX 480 7 card rigs

TOTAL CARDS = 239 cards

I'm also currently in the middle of a mining room remodel at my house and about finished at my dad's house.  Which see:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lets-share-ideas-of-ways-to-manage-heat-from-mining-in-a-home-or-warehouse-2865914

I'm also getting a power upgrade from 225 Amps to 400 Amps the week of April 16th.

Hi everyone,

I recently decided to switch all of my AMD rigs from ETH to XMR V7 on nano pool.

All of my R9 380's and R9 390's do fine when using Claymore Cryptonight GPU Miner (Latest Version for the fork).  However, my RX 480's and RX 580's do not work properly.  Only 4 [Sometimes 3] of the 7 cards for each rig mine while the others are 0.0 H/s.  This forces the rig to restart the mining process over and over again 4 times; then the rig shuts down.

I even tried switching from ssl to stratum with same results.

Is this Awesome Miner I'm using doing this or Claymore Cryptonight (latest version) on Awesome Miner?

Again, no issues with the R9 380's and R9 390's.  Only the RX 480's and RX 580's.

If someone happens to know the issue and how to fix it, I would certainly appreciate a point in the right direction.

Thanks,

David

There are a lot cryptonight miners around that a much better than Claymore's. So if he doesn't want to continue development - leave 0% fee and exit is a right move!

Name it.
xmr stak
cast xmr
sgminer-gm 5-5-5
SRBminer

Thanks for those recommendations.  I'll give Cast and SgMiner a go to see how they do.  I have a feeling Cast may suit me well.

Hi David - sorry, optiminer v212 on ZEC - I misread the thread.

Okay, no worries...  I'm mining ZEC as well with my NVIDIA cards.  No issues at all with them.  Only my 480's and 580's with XMR.

Maybe I can get Cast XMR Miner 0.9.2 AMD GPU going shortly.

I am using Optiminer v212 also on Nanopool without issues.

Hi citronick,

I appreciate it.  However, I have 37 rigs and using Awesome Miner with all of them for easier management and monitoring.  Unfortunately, that particular miner is not pre-loaded on Awesome Miner.

I was looking on YouTube just before you sent your recommendation to see what's involved with setting up Cast XMR Miner 0.9.2 which is already on Awesome Miner.  So, I think I'm going to give it a try to see how it goes.

Thanks again for the quick response.

Happy Mining.

For XMR / Nanopool ... AMD RX470,480, R9-390 and R9-Nano, I use xmrig-amd-v2.5.2 (SMOS) without any issues.

AMD rx550 not work  Angry

no ASM binary  found Sad

Yes currently only popular cards are supported: Pitcairn, Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji, Tonga, Ellesmere, Baffin, Vega.
I will add other cards but a bit later.

It was my favorite miner (v9.7), thank you anyway... As I see in recent readme file: "This version is for recent AMD videocards only: 7xxx, 2xx, 3xx and 4xx, 1GB or more" - I have some AMD HD7790 (7xxx!) cards but can't use them right now with 10.x/11.x versions on XMR ("-pow7 1"). And of cource all other old cards (57xx/58xx) Sad
Is it no chance to support them? Please-please-please bring it back!
