Claymore would it be possible to add worker and hashrate sending with http and eth-proxy? (http://127.0.0.1:8080/f1)
I think it has been requested past few days, but I am not sure I have seen a definitive yes/no answer Wink

This is just for convenience when viewing the stats at dwarfpool.
Without the worker name, the proxy replaces it with some random numbers.

What I cannot understand is why do you want to use miner with proxy if it can work with pools directly? It will reduce effective hashrate by 1% at least.

Claymore, is this fix relevant to your miner

https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/issues/36

It could fix some low difficulty shares, at least in ethminer.

My miner does not use any sources from ethminer, so any bugs/fixes related to ethminer are not related to it.

Hi Claymore,
I'm also wondering how your miner handles such cases what genoil has fixed here: After having received a new job, will your miner still submit stale shares for the replaced job?

In fact, stale shares are invalid shares. If some pools want to get stale shares I will add such option, but some pools can count stale shares as invalid shares and you will ask me why miner sends more invalid shares. Therefore I will check all popular pools how they work with stale shares, so I can decide if this option must be enabled or disabled by default. Anyway, I will add this option in next update.
BTW, stale shares rate is less than 1% for my miner.

claymore could you please add power limit options in the miner..

What about checking "-powlim" option in OP?

builds for Windows x64 and for Linux x64 (tested on Ubuntu 12.04).

VERY old Ubuntu version, please to test on something more current, 14.04 LTS as a minimum?

Ignore 16.04, as that version broke support for fglrx entirely and I'm pretty sure you CAN'T install the Catalyst 15.12 drivers on it at all.

Claymore,

Can I configure mining modes for each card?

I studied, the -di switch but it doesnt do what I need to do below.

In order not to exceed the PSU limit, I would like to disable DCR mining on the last 2 x GPUs.

While the first 3x GPUs will continue mining ETH + DCR.

Ie.

GPU 1 , ETH + DCR dual mining mode
GPU 2 , ETH + DCR dual mining mode
GPU 3 , ETH + DCR dual mining mode
GPU 4 , ETH only mode
GPU 5 , ETH only mode

Please consider putting this feature in next version.

Thanks

EDIT:  A good forum member pointed me to the ""-mode 1-02" will set mode "1" for first and third GPUs (#0 and #2)" feature, I am trying this now. So please disregard my question above.

You are the only one with such 390 experience. So you must be wrong.
You should get around 32-33MH ETH + 900-1000MH DCR for 1 gpu with Your clocks.

How do you get these 900-1000 of DCR? I have twice less on every of 50 pieces of R9 390 ( What command line do you use? What are the "dcri" and  "ethi" parameters? The manual tells us that "by default (-dcri 30) 390 card shows 29MH/s for Ethereum and 440MH/s for Decred. Setting -dcri 70 causes 24MH/s for Ethereum and 850MH/s for Decred" So, to get 850Mh/s in Decred you must significantly decrease Ethereum performance.

390 with 1160/1500 clocks
That's my bat:
Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal address.rig -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.pool.mn:4800 -dwal user.worker -dpsw x -dcri 57 -esm 1 -wd 0
pause

@ gagana

i found my issue and solution with my 390/390x down throttling (up thread)..

my msi 390 is not down-throttling it was the sapphires..using MSI AB i raised the power limit to +17 (saphhires only) clock reached 1160 at MSI AB monitor.

all are running eth at 33 mhs and DCR at 660 mhs (-dcri 40 -ethi 8 )

claymore could you please add power limit options in the miner..

edit: it seems the "power limit" toggle bar is for all cards in the system. no wonder sapphires are cooler compared to MSI, now they are both the same in temps haha

did you read known issues?

I have a question:
Could I  use CPU for testing purposes?
I don't want to mess with my ring and on  my PC have not >2gb GPU

Third question (from my friend)
He wanted to start eth-only-mode on dwarfpool but:

Something is wrong here. I had a spare 390 and put it in a rig with 5x 370. When I was home I noticed I probably have a cable stuck in the fan of the 1st 370, so I disabled it with -di 12345 (so that 0 is skipped).

It now reads this:

GPU0 t=89C fan=100%, GPU1 t=80C fan=73%, GPU2 t=78C fan=59%, GPU3 t=78C fan=59%, GPU4 t=52C fan=15%, GPU5 t=78C fan=65%
ETH: 05/13/16-22:40:42 - New job (target 0x0000000112e0be82) from eu1.ethermine.org:4444
ETH - Total Speed: 85.857 Mh/s, Total Shares: 12, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:07
ETH: GPU0 14.159 Mh/s, GPU1 29.223 Mh/s, GPU2 14.145 Mh/s, GPU3 14.165 Mh/s, GPU4 14.166 Mh/s

Now, I am 100% sure that the card being 89c with fan 100% is the 390, wich in the hash reads as GPU1. And GPU4 obviously is 0, the one I disabled. So, something gets or is mixed up...

I named it and inserted the esm mode - now I can see the shares.
Thanks guys Smiley

What pool are you guys using for DCR?  It seems like supernova is getting worse and worse - down half the time.

pool.mn  set/forget

Main page not ready yet.... What about ETH with minig pool hub is it ok?

ETH: Mining Pool Hub / Failover: Nano
DCR: Suprnova / Failover: Yimp

i mine with them (( pool.mn )) for weeks with no prob.

I had the same @ ethermine.org and with the rigname (just name it something) I can see them now.
thanks claymore!

You have non-zero effective hashrate - it is calculated using your submitted shares. So it works.

Use wallet.rigname instead of just wallet for ethermine/ethpool to have shares displayed. Shares usually shown in 5 minutes of runtime. And do not forget add -esm 1 for this pool.

ethpool doesn't have accounts. so what rigname should I use ? And why?

you mean my adress 0xabcd...a0.rigname   ?

Do I need this or is it just to see the shares?

If someone here tells me that the shares are submitted and I just don't see them it's okay for me.

I don't need to see them - I just wanna go sure they are submitted.

I'm running the claymore miner for eth only.

The miner does show 61,5 MH/s and has got like 140 shares submitted.

My pool does show the miningspeed but it doesn't show any shares.

It's running for 3 hours now.

Anyone knows if this is normal or if I have a problem?

Pool is ethpool.org

Caution!
Running dual mode could significantly increase temperatures of gpu!
In my case it was about 10Celsius and I had tons of problems due to overheated GPU Tongue

Sorry if it was mentioned before but I am think it is important to inform about it.
