I couldnt find anything related to this on the first page, so I need to ask:
Is it possible with a 2 card rig to let one card mine eth and one mine music?
Currently both are dual mining eth and dcr but since eth is getting more and more difficult to get and music is having a nice boost, I'd really like to get something of both coins

yes use the -di option its on the 1st page
-di GPU indexes, default is all available GPUs. For example, if you have four GPUs "-di 02" will enable only first and third GPUs (#0 and #2).

you would run 2 instances so one gpu is mining music and dcr and the second is mining eth and dcr
one bat file will have -di 0
second bat file will have -di 1
put them at the end of each bat file

Im currently using 16.9.2 as when I use the latest driver changing the clock speeds makes my cards go to 4mhz

I use the most current driver and patch with the pixel patcher.

This one of my rigs which has had issues ever since windows update. 7 x MSI 470 4GB Gaming X. 1 with Hynix and 6 with Samsung

Have the same issue with the watchdog counter only with an other gpu (GPU4).
The Watchdog issue occured randomly... after some minutes or even hours.
During the start the hashrate is normaly and drops afterwards.
All settings are the same as for the other gpus which are used.
I've deactivated the watchdog to be able to mine even with 6 gpu's.
Don't know why but the miner doesn't restart properly after a watchdog error... therefore I disabled the function otherwise I'll need to reboot my hole system everytime.
Any solves therefore?

I'm receiving an error when trying to run the mining software. It's been working fine for months but today it can't find any of my cards.

Im having some weird problems with my WIFI whenever i run clay mores miner. When I am mining, my wifi is only working on my laptop in the same room as my rig and where my router is, but whenever I go to another room the wifi signal drops. If i turn claymore off/stop mining, my wifi is perfectly back to normal...can anyone explain this??

Hey guys, i have problem on 2 rigs. other rigs works fine. but this two shut down at the same time. and network adapter is not blinking. in log it says

Guys, Claymore miner has nothing to do with this issue, it was a win10 update that did this... just look into the Device Manager and see if the cards are ok, not with the yellow triangle (code 43).

Today I came home to 8 more with the same problem and I was beginning to wonder if I have a virus. This windows update is a trainwreck if it is the culprit.
Yes same crap happened to me. I had to use AMD Pixel Clock Patcher tool to get it working again. Huge amount of stress because of some crappy windows update.

I am doing the same, make sure you go into your update and security folder and uninstall the update, it seems to keep interfering with the drivers
What update needs removal? I cant get my 6x 580 rig to work for dual mining. This shit pisses me off. I had updates disabled and they still pull this shit.
Edit: This is confusing. I can use the claymore ZEC miner just fine. But on the same rig the dual miner wont even get to the point it produces a log file. It just opens en closes again.
2nd edit: Great now it only sees 5 cards and I still cant dual mine. Fuck you microsoft for forcing a update down my throat while I had updates disabled. Fuck you.
