Have Paid out every reward on the system down to 0.00000001 !

Thanks Wuked, sorry to see another PPLNS pool closed after rfcpool.
I also use MineCo.in as backup in the past, maybe I should setup p2pool again...

Does anyone know what the largest PPLNS pool is these days?

I believe it is bitminter which tends to average 75 - 80 GH/s.  0% and merged mining.

Hey Guys,

The Data centre currently has a problem with heat and have advised that we should power down servers until it is resolved, so I've had to power down the machine running mineco.in.

I don't have any idea when we'll be back online, but when we are I will pay out all rewards and will probably shut down mineco as we are down to about 40GH/sec these days and it's not really worth it, so sorry to all our loyal users, but it's probably time to move on Smiley

Sorry to hear you're out of the game Wuked.  This pool was always rather attractive to me for offering 0% PPLNS with a reasonable hashrate and was often my backup pool.  Heck, even with a 3% fee this would have been my backup pool.

Best of luck with your future endeavours!

Does anyone know what the largest PPLNS pool is these days?

The homepage is offline and the pool does not work also! Why?
Looking at the hashrate graph from earlier today, it looks like the pool was down for ~1 hr. Only Wuked would be able to answer this, and he hasn't checked this forum for two months (although he can occasionally be spotted in #mineco on freenode IRC).

Just a bump, the pool is still running great, I am about 1% of the pools hashrate, and I get my ~.50 BTC every time a block is found, averaging about one a day. Big props to megauser boom, who found four blocks in a row with ~15GHash/s. My signature link is not because I am affiliated with the pool admin, just because it works!

Wuked, do you plan to add merged mining for namecoins to your pool?

I would like this as well. I mine just for fun anyway and namecoins is a very interesting project.

I see, I continued minning as well. Stats seem to be working back as normal. The worker status in terms of green for active or red , not fixed yet, but thats just a fyi.

Not needed to mine, just a nice to have

Is the pool is currently not reporting stats properly ?
Yep, stats look messed up, I'm still mining fine, but the pool reports a flat 3ghash/s total pool hashrate instead of the 60 or so it should show.

Edit: FYI, it seems the stats problem was due to Euro daylight savings time messing up calculations.

Although it doesn't count for much, I would be interested in this too.

mineco.in is my secondary pool (mainly backup but sometimes I split resources for low variance and I would move the bulk over for a sufficiently good promotion).  Recently my main pool (simplecoin.us PPLNS) had a reboot to upgrade the merged mining implementation to Luke Jr's and my miners consequently switched over to this pool for 2 hours or so.  I'm very much in the market for a second solid merged-mining PPLNS (or double-geo) pool.

I also used to highly recommend this pool (I converted some users, such as bitkoyn, from BTC Guild to mineco.in) but these days I can only recommend merged mining pools.

Anyway, just some thoughts from a fan.  The true userbase comes first of course. Wink
