Doesn't exactly mean that, they could be on the same network line. I've seen hosts that offer cheaper 1gbit connections because they are shared with other boxes.

Ive been running a miner on/off there over last couple of days and its been hit n miss with going up/down the whole day.

I am seeing periods of high packet loss, nagios shows it climbing over the past 48 hours. I've emailed the host... will report back soon.
Seems pa.mtred.com is permanently showing as dead now.

so, trying ot setup miningmonitor.com. it's saying the MtRed API key is invalid. i've tried 3 different ones. thoughts?
May seem silly.. are you saving you settings after generating a new key api key?

main server, i think - using the guiminer dropdown for mtred. connecting to mine.mtred.com:8337. easily could have been a connection drop on my end. ISP having issues.

Everything been stable on this end (today atleast), are you on the main server or PA(mm)?
Either way, quick update, new servers are here, being setup and synced. Should be soon that we are are them.

I've requested port 80 mining before at the mtred forum here but I haven't heard any response about it at all. Are there any plans to enable this? I can't imagine it'll be all that difficult.

I get rejects of up to 1.5% - is this caused by the downtime?
Yes, there are a few things that I think are increasing stales lately. But this should also be fixed with the new provider.
