I'm working with a member who is helping to put it up but I don't know him very well but he's been extremely helpful and says it could help in getting the word out and possibly getting me paid.  I just gave him all the info I have.  He is still working on it.

I really need to get paid, what the hell is going on.

There is no evidence that efxes is the person behind the website but the timing of registration (WHOIS) and content does seem to indicate there could be a link: https://cloudbetscams.com/

I wonder if Cloudbet would be willing to appoint mediators from the bitcointalk community like Sportsbet did when another user complained about a closed account. I think it's the only way to break this deadlock. Otherwise we're just going to keep going back and forward between asking exfes questions about his account and complaining to Cloudbet and no real progress will be made.

This is the scam accusation thread about Sportsbet, where they posted they appointed mediators, for those who are curious: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) [dispute settled]

It is good that the user Efxes has taken action and dedicated a website to there.

What do you mean? I don't recall reading here about him making a website about this accusation.

Many people are very disappointed with Cloudbet now. Their last days seem to be numbered. Think they don't care about this and just keep going. It is good that the user Efxes has taken action and dedicated a website to there. Hopefully he will get his money back. The number of people who have complained about Cloudbet isn't sick either. That is really quite a laundry list. How can this bookmaker still exist? In any case, users have been warned on the forum. They really owe that yellow card to themselves after all those problems of not paying out to customers. Especially that of those 330 BTC was a real drama for the customer.
I hope exfes will get paid, and get the money that he deserves.

@Cloudbet

Please could you confirm the following:

1) What were the total number of deposits the user efxes made before his account was closed

2) What were total amount of accumulative funds user efxes deposited before his account was closed

3) What were the total amount of funds that user efxes gambled

4) What were the total amount of funds that user efxes won by betting

5) What was the total amount that you returned to user efxes before closing his account

Your answers will provide enough information for members to be able to conclude if the amounts involved (what he sent to Cloudbet and what Cloudbet returned to him) are disputed or not.

Furthermore, the Cloudbet reputation was already affected after years of disputes and allegations and this is one more in a long line of complaints. Unlike the other incidents though, there is now a website which clearly will be indexed by search engines and will bring negativity to your business like never before: https://cloudbetscams.com

If Cloudbet are not in the wrong there are plenty of members here that will support it but if Cloudbet have selective scammed efxes then there will be no member that will ever defend Cloudbet.

Please try to reach out to efxes and resolve this matter.

Thank you

Hi everyone, we'd like to address the case of efxes.

Our Player Safety Team performed a standard verification check on the account after noticing several failed logins from the USA.

Our authentication log reveals that the player attempted to authenticate from the USA followed by several other European cities within minutes - this clearly goes against his claim that he is living in and playing from Mexico.

Whilst the player complied and supplied an identity document and proof of address, he failed to submit documents that support his claims of residing in Mexico. We consequently closed the account after confirming a clear breach of our terms and licensing agreement.

We ensured that the player received the total sum of their deposit back and consequently consider this case to be closed.

You sir, are the MAN.
I can't wait to see what they have to say to this.  But really, I just want to be paid.  I wish they would just do legit business so people didn't have to suffer.

Feels so bad to see cloudbet doing shady things because this was one of my first sportsbook I used to bet on but even that time they used to pause my withdrawals and I had to email the support to get my withdrawal out from their jaws. I stopped betting and I am glad I did so because what is happening right now looks very bad and big thanks @JollyGood to ask the questions we all wanted to but now you asking them at least put some weight on them.

I cannot understand why they are so reluctant to answer genuine questions and if they are already turned complete scam already in which case RIP to the gamblers who have money there.

Once a bet is made it is very difficult to take it back but if you take a good look at the websites before paying there is no fear of losing even if the sites are closed in the case of cloudbet many have lost faith in paying in advance which is why mexico and the united states will not enter into an agreement on the game.

Hey guys, I just made a new thread in this subforum (gambling) PLEASE COME OVER AND SUPPORT IT NOW

Here's the post.  Will you guys please come over and support the thread to get Cloudbet off of bitcointalk?  I don't want to keep bumping this thread and advertising it, even though it helps some people I think others just keep seeing the title and don't follow what is going on with the scams.

Here's the post.  And here is a link to the thread I just created:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5279500

"Cloudbet should no longer be allowed on bitcointalk: A danger to the community"
___________________________________________________
They stole $15,000 from me in bitcoin.  They have done it to countless other people.  They are constantly stealing from people and not paying them.  The only way they pay is if you find a way to prevent people from depositing and things.  They are truly a virus on the community.  There are tons of people talking about how they just confiscated $15,000 of my deposits with vague TOS rules, and we are just bumping their thread further and many people are just seeing Cloudbet advertised and not following what is going on.

You guys should see all of the scams in the past the site has been dealing with.  They owe me $15,000 and countless others.  You can follow my scam accusation thread here:

You can also see a list of about 30 scam threads started from different people over the years here:

really bad one
https://www.reddit.com/r/sportsbook/comments/ao6txz/warning_bitcoin_sportbook_cloudbetcom_is_trying/

I just went in their discord chat and there was another message from the chat who said they rolled him for 2 BTC ($20,000) and they aren't paying him back either.

I know how the place operates.  They offer an extremely wide selection of odds to anonymous users who use only crypto-currency- this leaves their sportsbook extremely vulnerable to any sharp action or syndicate bettors who can take advantage of obscure betting lines and matches.  Then when they begin to get hit, they find ways to just ban any winning bettor and confiscate the money.

They confiscate the money not only to profit themselves and put it back into marketing budget to get losing gamblers, but they also want to break any winning bettor so that they don't come back and make a new account and continue to gamble with them.

Instead of Cloudbet using this model and scamming people left and right, how about they just offer less betting lines and higher juice and not be an entirely thieving corporation?

Also their username has begun to get serious amounts of flags and some negative trust rating, and I hope it continues and they are completely banned from the site and their thread taken down.  See their profile here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/cloudbet-154563

They have a legendary account and guess what, positive trust ratings mostly due to influencer marketing and signature campaigns.  They are bringing in new suckers to steal money from.  If they don't win it by gambling losses, they take the money by force.  Any long term winner on the site will get KYC'd and served some sort of TOS to keep the funds, or they'll just hold it indefinitely and not even respond.  I've seen it all.

Can we get rid of this thieving site?  How about you return my money first, Cloudbet?  Again, see the scam accusation thread and decide for yourself if these people should still have a place on bitcointalk as a legendary person.  I don't think so.  I will ask others who know about what is going on to weigh in on this thread and I hope you do keep it up.  We need to clean up these scammers from the crypto community- they are obviously rampant with what they can get away with being anonymous.

Again they need to change their business model so that they don't need to scam people in order to survive as a casino.

They want to take $15,000 from me, out of my deposits and say since I am a winning account they can do that #1 and #2 they are saying that because I logged in from a USA IP and have a permanent residence in USA that I could not have been gambling on their account for 3 months from Mexico where I have been staying during the pandemic since I am out of work.  I need the funds for my day to day life, they were processing tons of deposits and cashouts.  See here all my deposits to the site.

Here are all of the deposits I had made to the site in the last days.

FINAL CASHOUT REQUEST was around 67 BCH.  Some other cashouts had been processed along the way without freezing the account yet.

I trusted them with tons of money and they waited until I deposited a lot of funds until they scammed me and took all the money.  They also pulled an even worse move- they mis-graded a wager, the winning total was about $3,000.  But my account balance at the time was about $30,000.  I didn't notice the mis-grade, and they were telling me that since there was a mis-grade, ALL the bets I made after that should be voided because I didn't let them know personally and was playing with their funds.  it was 10% of my account balance and I had no idea.  It was a retire in a 2nd set and some books have different rules so I wouldn't know.

If they don't change they need to go.  Where is the $15k Cloudbet.

this is ridiculous , you took  the bets , regardless where he was, YOUR SOFTWARE SHOULD CHECK AT TIME OF BET.

once the bet is taken , it needs to paid.

No ifs , no buts, pay the man, you would have kept the coin if it lost.

So you are holding up the funds because I didn't send proper proof of a permanent address in Mexico?  I have been traveling constantly since pandemic.  I settled 3 months ago in Mexico and purposefully do everything electronic.  I sent you trip itineraries, a letter from the person I am renting from, what the heck else do you need from me?  It is criminal to take the money.  That is money that I need in order to continue my day to day life, I deposited it all in good faith.  I deposited all that money.  Regardless of whether you think I have a permanent residence in USA or in Mexico, you need to return the money.

I sent in the Mexico documents, if it's not sufficient what do you need to be sufficient to legally send it back?  Let's get this resolved, Cloudbet.  This isn't good for anyone.

Let me get this straight

1- you are saying that your site allowed deposits from banned countries.
2- the deposit is then used for betting.
3- When the bets are successful, you will not honour them, because of the deposit originated from a banned country.
4- you return the deposit, because of a withdrawal request

Ok I think that is fair summary.

One problem though, if the bets had lost would you have still have returned the deposit?
If the answer is no then for all intents and purposes, in my eyes it is outright theft.

This is a very fair summary except they didn't return my last deposits.  Because I"m a winning bettor on the account they waited until I deposited too much and then denied cash out and kept the remaining funds, stating that I'm up on the account (just barely), they're voiding all bets and keeping winnings.

Typical angle shooting book that offers too many soft lines to anonymous customers and has to resort to scamming due to their crappy business model.

They haven't paid back the deposits that I made.  They haven't paid anything.  All they are doing is lying and being extremely rude in their over-professional emails basically stating leave us alone we're not paying you the money we owe you.

I haven't received a dime, not even my deposits.  $15,000 being held up and basically trying to tell me, their licensing company, everyone and probably using fake accounts on sbrforum too to bash me and make me try and go away.

They have a long history of this.  They spend the money that they take through angles and use that for spending it on forum shills, reputation management, and further marketing and social media management and customer service in order to bring in more deposits from losing customers.  Winning customers in the long term on their accounts do not get paid.  I repeat do not get paid.

This isn't going to go well for them with this much negative attention at this point.  They need to pay out.  And I don't even know what to say after that, I've lost hope for them.  Even paying out won't fix anything, their reputation is a joke.  They need to leave the forums and just go out of business.  These people are just in business to steal from people.  And they're anonymous and asking people for their personal documents, who knows where that is going.  I'm upset to say the very very very least.

I want the $15,000 you just took from me.  Go ahead and show everyone proof that you sent it.  Because you did not.  You are lying.

Wen Rolex?

HE IS DENYING that I even sent 50 BCH as a final deposit.  Do you know how I know that I sent 50 BCH as a final deposit?
I was sending 20% of my bankroll each time.  Each time I would lose, the 20% became 20% less.  Do you see now?

and finally I chased with the last of my coin, 50 BCH.  11 BCH was about 20% of 60 BCH so I chased with the last 50 BCH.

He is denying that I even deposited the last 50 BCH.

Everything out of them is lies.  I have people I know ready to call them out everywhere on the internet.  They need to pay up before it gets out of hand.  I'm a long time member of the bitcoin gambling community, well-connected and they need to wake up and pay out and stop lying and being so mean.

Your blockchain record and your in game balance history is enough to determine your remaining balance that you need to withdraw. Clearly Cloudbet is using there ToS for holding your funds in there casino. I already tagged them and will create flag in case they didn't address this issue properly.

I hope that you learned your lesson. You should always read ToS and avoid casino that has a previous shady behavior because they will do everything just to get money on the user balance especially when they feel huge chunk of money is going out in there hot wallet.

We ensured that the player received the total sum of their deposit back and consequently consider this case to be closed.

any chance to provide evidence that you have sent the deposited money back to the efxes since he is still claiming of not getting anything back?

Dear Mr. ____,

My previous email included an attachment of all of your deposits and withdrawals, which shows that you have withdrawn more coin out of the account than you have deposited. As you knowingly circumvented our registration blocks to place bets on the site you immediately breached our terms of service. These registration blocks are in place to ensure we comply with regulations and do not accept players from jurisdictions that are prohibited.

I understand that you may feel entitled to the funds that have been frozen, but I can assure you that these funds have been accumulated unlawfully and thus have been rightfully frozen. We ensured that you received back the value of your investment into the site. If the circumstances were different and your total deposits did not exceed the amount you withdrew, we would have made arrangements for your to withdraw. We have no intention of causing unnecessary stress for people, whether they are entitled to play on site or not.

In reference to your last deposits, which are all documented in my earlier attachment. There is no record of a 50BCH deposit under that transaction hash, the address in that transaction does not even belong to a Cloudbet account. Mentioning this through online forums and this correspondence is defamatory and untrue.

We have sufficient evidence to conclude your account has been rightfully closed and therefore, I deem this case to be closed with no further action required. We will be happy to provide Curacao Gaming with any supporting evidence if they request it.

I trust this meets your understanding.

Kind regards,

Steve
