We all felt bad for him but it is the ToS that all these casinos can use at any time if they want to selective scam a customer. In this particular case it seems efxes has been selective scammed to the tune of 67 BCH which was around $15,000 at the time.

Cloudbet are allowing their reputation to flow in to the gutter. Their account here is not even bothered to address the situation in an acceptable manner.

I really feel bad for that last guy that lost so much money. If I read stories about the amounts people lose because sites do not pay out, it is crazy stuff.

It is also really bad that they can get away with these kind of actions.

The gambling commission issues a license so that companies can offer their services and that they are allowed to operate legally. She is not very interested in what else actually happens between the customer and the gambling site. but neither commission in the whole world is interested. I know Malta has a so called user friendly organisation, but they also do not anything. They are obliged to cooperate if the authorities request it, and this is also the case with Curacao. If there really is theft, scam, you can always consider contacting the local authorities in Curacao to file a lawsuit. After all, the company details are known. Perhaps the UBO is not accessible to the general public, this information is simply stated in the share register and UBO register. And can therefore also simply be claimed by an organization that has the powers for this. You certainly have a chance to fight something like  that and have it appear before a judge, but it won't be easy, and it will take a long time. This is a process that may also cause the necessary stress and frustration. You have to be prepared for that. I think that as a gambler you should mainly look at: Does the gambling site have a license (jurisdiction makes little difference, but then you at least know that the site has a legal gambling license) and what needs to be checked afterwards and what is perhaps the most important : What is the reputation of a casino. There are also casinos / gambling sites in Curacao that just have a good reputation, I think. By the way, I think this topic is now going off topic.

The licence from Curacao is worthless and pointless in reality.

talking about " licence of Curacao ", I heard that to acquire this license in curacao one must show the identity of the owners of the site, i think that if @efxes complain in court it would be possible for the court to identify the owner of the cloudbet. but of course that would be more expenses for @efxes and cloudbet
This is true they have to identify themselves but it is all confidential. Have you ever heard of a casino operator losing their Curacao licence because of mismanagement? How many cases are there?

The gambling authority of Curacao do not arbitrate fairly and not protecting the end user.

Megadice stole over 19 BTC from forum member newalias but the authorities in Curacao which issued the worthless and pointless licence to Megadice did nothing, they literally did nothing to help newalias:

The reason why these casinos register with the gambling authorities in Curacao is to show users some form of compliance and legal control in order to win the trust of game players. The licence from Curacao is worthless and pointless in reality.

I don't understand how it could have come to this that Cloudbet has made so many victims. The only thing you can try is to contact the Gambling Control Board in Curacao (according to the website they still have a license there). I don't think they want to risk that for $ 15,000 anyway. In the least favorable scenario for you, they are obliged to return you the money from the deposits in any case. Just don't give up and persistence wins, as the saying goes. Together you stand strong with other victims.
The fact that they haven't responded here says enough about their deliberate bad intentions and extremely unprofessional behavior. Apparently she doesn't care. It's good that they have a yellow card now, but they have to compensate their victims first.

This is not quite right. It used to be the case. Since this year, the authorities in Curacao are intervening more and more because they have been reprimanded by the government, and because there is a lot of political pressure. That does not mean that the players now have a protective status. The idea of a license is not to protect players, but to legally offer online gambling. This is also the case in other countries. The only reason that some companies want a license from Malta is because they then have a larger target group because a number of countries may be addressed that are prohibited on the license in Curacao.

Fwiw, I think @Cloudbet should just send back your last deposit ($20,000 or $15,000 I'm not sure?) and then close your account and move forward.

Considering they paid out a 330btc win after disputes some years ago I don't see them ruining their entire rep for a measly ~1.5-2BTC here.

Time will tell, but I've worked enough with Cloudbet in the past to know that they should want to do the right thing.

I also suggested this:

My position would be that the cloudbet return your last deposit to you

I used their website in the past and I didn't have any problems. but it seems that the center of the problem is in the negative balance, I don't understand why @cloudbet is risking reputation for $15,000, it reminds me of the case of livecoin that destroys reputation when it could have solved the problem

The fact that they haven't responded here says enough about their deliberate bad intentions and extremely unprofessional behavior. Apparently she doesn't care. It's good that they have a yellow card now, but they have to compensate their victims first.

maybe they really don't care or are too busy with real world things with this pandemic, sometimes i prefer to think so just so as not to conclude that they prefer to destroy reputation because of $15,000 which shouldn't be too much for a casino of this size of them i think

The licence from Curacao is worthless and pointless in reality.

FYI, 'ordinarybloke26' account trying to stir up interest in the presidential betting odds is a clear shill account for Cloudbet.  Few reasons why:

Steering attention away from the stealing/scams by cloudbet trying to keep the content about sportsbetting (yeah but if you bet sports there and you don't lose, they may not pay you depending on the weather or the day or the economy).
ordinarybloke26 is such a "can i please blend in" type of screen name.
Presidential betting is a huge money grab for sportsbooks just like stealing is.  The bets are tied up for months, and the sportsbook can use that money elsewhere in the meantime and invest and make a return in the markets or whatever they do with money like run other illegal businesses with it.

AND THE MOST DAMNING EVIDENCE:
another brand new account called 'cryptofiend01' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2849561 has 4 total posts.  The first one being a US presidential odds thread, the 2nd being another absolutely random no value post.  The third defending cloudbet in a thread stating Cloudbet needs to be booted from the forum, saying that people are trying to "smear" cloudbet because they are likely a competitor.  And the last post?  A no value post just saying "bitcoin moon" or something on a thread.

And after all this?  They have left positive feedback for ordinarybloke26 here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2849561  stating that he is a good dude or something.

The shill accounts boost each other up and it's so obvious, and they defend the site and try and steer the conversation the way they want.

Cloudbet:  you are spending MY $15,000 or $20,000 that I deposited to the site to use for reputation management and turning your scams into profitable marketing ventures.

I hope that people are waking up to this.

Cloudbet:  Please return the deposits I made on the day you stole them.

THESE ARE MY DEPOSITS ON THAT DAY THAT I REQUESTED 67 BCH CASHOUT.  I WANT THEM BACK NOW.  NOW.  now now now now now now.

24 bCH + 20 BCH + 16 BCH + 3 BCH + 11 BCH = 74 BCH in deposits on the same day I requested a 67 BCH cashout.  You don't want my action.  Fine.  Return the money doesn't matter if it's an account that is in the profit.  I will never use your site again, I need my deposits back.

I appreciate that but let me make note of a few things:

#1 rep already has made very angry remarks towards me in PM's on bitcointalk and also in this thread remarking that "case closed, you can't have those deposits back for 75 BCH because the account was in the green".

#2 The economy is down, betting volume is down, and more sportsbooks are popping up in the space every day.  these sites have hired a massive workforce and likely cannot keep up with paying them due to the fact that less people are risking their hard earned cryptocurrency in a down economy.  These sites are going to start exit scamming sooner or later.

I agree, they did return 330 BTC in the past after withholding it but that had a significant amount of pressure involved as many users in the forum were involved providing their point of view. There has been activity in this case from users but somewhat less than that particular case, maybe that it why Cloudbet are not focused on resolving this.

Maybe that would be the right course of action, they should just return his funds then we can all move on. efxes would have no reason to use Cloudbet again and would have no reason to post about them here again. Cloudbet would no longer have to read posts about this case or justify their course of action.

Because I enjoy sports betting. Please don't steer the conversation away from my question.

the site is going to start having shill accounts come into the thread and steer the conversation backs to sports betting in order to divert attention and save the site $15,000 so they don't have to pay the deposits back and can keep the last deposits of a winning account.

Look at what I sent them.  This is $20,000 that I sent the site that day, and I withdrew $15,000 and they refuse to pay me becuase overall over 3 months my account had won just slightly more than that.

My man.  Steer the conversation away?
This site just stole $15,000 from me, anyone can see what is happening.  And you're continuing to give your action to the site knowing what they are doing?  Please wait until they pay me back before you support this site.  It is a disservice to the community to support the site knowing they are stealing money from a winning account using brute force tactics.

No offence intended, but I’m heavily invested in the election. As you can see here (https://bitedge.com/odds-comparisons/us-presidential-election/), Cloudbet offers the best election odds. I need to get value from my position.

No other book can compete atm and markets have been fluctuating since Trumps positive covid result.

Someone wrote a medium article about this.  You have to read it for yourself, I gave them a ton of info to write about it.

https://medium.com/@drivingforpennies/cloudbet-scams-customer-for-15-000-in-bitcoin-cash-67-bch-steals-last-deposited-funds-fcbae7016dd0

These were the last deposits I made
https://miro.medium.com/max/700/1*jp9TPFTLKlWawxh3en6dFg.png

As you can see it's the same day that I requested the cashout.  They are refusing to return all that f*king money man i'm so pissed.

I only see open markets for the Presidential Election at the moment. Will you be opening up markets for the Vice President race?   Huh

why are you supporting the site when you see that they steal winning account's deposits?

This was just posted in the Cloudbet scam accusation thread over here at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277995.20

here is the post:

This is spot on.

Basically, let's say I ran a sportsbook.  Any time there's a winning account over a set amount of time, I can do the following:

I can mis-grade a wager so that all bets are voided after that if they win (but if they lose it, nothing happens).

I can also: wait for their next big deposits.  If they lose all of it, no problem.  If they win, I freeze the account and find ways to either hold the funds for many many days and not pay due to fraud investigation, or immediately come up with a guilty verdict for a TOS.

It is criminal
