Currently 10% of BTC miners switched to Stratum. I think we can start comparing getwork vs stratum efficiency.
Here are the numbers:
getwork efficiency = 99.39%
stratum efficiency = 99.92% ( 14 stales in 17000 submitted shares ! )
When more and more miners switch to stratum we will have more reliable data.

We have added Stratum support to BTC pool. So now we have stratum in BTC, LTC, TRC !
1. Please use latest versions of following miners: cgminer, bfgminer, guiminer, poclbm
2. Stratum mining is available in the following pools:
BTC = coinotron.com:3333
LTC = coinotron.com:3334
TRC = coinotron.com:3335
3. Share difficulty may differ from main getwork pool.

considering your lower fees.. for a 24/7 miner it is worth it to have to wait a little bit longer for the coins if you are getting more of them
that said.. I REALLY wish you guys would track # of share submitted by miner....
We are tracking and storing # of shares submitted by each worker for all coins since beginning. However there is no UI to view actual values. Simply there was always something more important to do
