I don't want to go into the debate if he was a good human being or not. Because I honestly don't want to say any controversial stuff about a dead guy. And obviously, he was closely related to Rajasthan Royals so he will obviously have good relations with Indian players and the Indian board. all I want to say is he was a great player and certainly the best leg spin bowler.

And yes Muttiah Muralitharan was a better bowler than him and at that time the Sri Lankan off-spinner was also facing a lot of problems from certain an instead of being not guilty. But the impact that Shane Warne had cannot be neglected at all.
You are right now it's all end, and we don't need to talk about this all but one thing is clear after retirement he was doing many things and these all just for his business so just because of this mostly he has done many wrong things as well because he needs some good intention in media, so his tricks were working for him, and mostly he was talk of community about his behavior and good relationship with Indian players were their necessity because after introduction of IPL India is the biggest market for this game and everyone wants to take his share from this.

He was also shareholder in Rajasthan Royals just because of this all good relationship with Indian players was very important for him. Specially after IPL many Australian and New Zealand players were having good things in India, so they are doing this all for their own sack.

Everyone respected him when he was playing cricket and there is no doubt about it. However his behavior outside the field was always controversial. And although he maintained good relations with Indian players after his retirement, during the 90s he was very infamous for sledging and bullying opposite players (especially Indians) on field. All that said, he was a legend and will always be remembered as one. He made use of his opportunities to the maximum in the cricket field and was well supported by his captains at that time.
In 90s bcci was weak board and he have good relations with Indian players after his retirement since he was made captain of Rajistan Royals so he has no other option but to have good relations to show thankfulness to Indian. His on field behaviour with opposite players was always bad.
He will always be remembered as a legendary spin bowler and worst human being that has no respect for opposite players. Muralidharan is far ahead of him not only in terms of performance but also in sportsmanship.

The ability of Shane Warne to turn a match with his bowling skills is legendary, i have seen some of the highlights from the past and it is really impressive how he was able to turn the match with his bowling. His death was a really shock and they should have given the respect when he was alive which i doubt he got that but it is good to see everyone showering praise after his demise.

His cricketing career have supported the Australia team win several matches. Particularly he have won more critical matches for Australia with his magical spin bowling which has never been possible by any of the players. His death was unexpected and  the Australian government is good enough to given him the proper respect.

Here on this thread we are supposed to discuss cricket and players not there personal lives. We need to focus on what Shane Warne did on cricket pitch rather outside the ground.
He didn't played T20I otherwise his magic would have been seen there as well. Just see his magic in this short video https://youtu.be/L3ZY8947wEg
Shane Warne spun his magic in T20 especially in the IPL during the first edition where he was the captain of Rajasthan Royals who were having a really young team who does not have any experience and Shane Warne took that team to victory and showcased his skills as a captain and how to motivate the youngsters to produce the best performance from them. He really was an underrated captain and never had the opportunity to lead Australia.

The whole cricketing world is sad right now hearing the news of Shane Warne's death. He was only 52 years old. The reason for his death is said to be a heart attack but I highly doubt that.

But I also don't want to make any assumptions about a late cricketing legend. He was the one who actually popularized leg-spin bowling to the modern era. One of the best cricketers ever. Australia should take steps to honor him properly.

There are rumors that he suffered heart attack as a result of overdose from Viagra. Shane Warne was a legendary player and there is no doubt about it. But his private life was always controversial. While he was in Australia, he got entangled in multiple controversies related to misbehavior with females. During foreign tours also, there were such reports arising, but the Australian cricket board managed to hush up all the complaints. Some time ago he shifted to Thailand and after that there wasn't much news about him in the media.
In our culture we never discuss what bad the deceased did in their life. We always talk good about them because that according to our religious beliefs reduce the pain of soul and helps the soul rest in peace. Let's talk good about the him. We all know he has shown incredible performance in his cricketing career. The world knows him and respect him. What he did in his personal life is nothing of our concern. Let's pray for him. May God bless the departed soul and give patience to those mourning behind.
Strongly agreed. He was a hero and legend. He will be recognized and acknowledged in the world of cricket for a long period. This is life, sooner or later every soul has to go, yesterday it was Warne tomorrow it will be me or you. That is the law of nature. May God bless his soul and give him highest place in paradise.

I think he was and still is the best leg spinner the cricketing world has ever seen. He has given a lot to the cricketing world and revived an almost dying art- leg spin bowling. He is the reason why a lot of young kids are into leg spin bowling. I like the fact that he is going to get a state funeral. And I feel like it's better not to talk about his personal life or the controversies around him.

He Was Watching Cricket, Not Drinking' - Manager. Moreover, Aussie PM confirms that Shane Warne will get state funeral.
His private life apart, his test stats are phenomenal to prove that he was one of best leg spinner of all time. In his 273 innings, he picked 708 wickets. Second best figure's after SL Muttiah Muralitharan
Yeah he deserved that honour and I am sure many awards will be followed for his life time achievement.
There would be many colours on one's personal and official life span but at the end of the day what kind of impression that you are making on people is important and this way Warne must be a legend for all 90s and 2k cricket followers.

Second best figure's after SL Muttiah Muralitharan
He was banned for 2 years just before his retirement; otherwise I guess things might have been complete different.

I think it's best that we don't say anything bad about someone who has already died. He is in a place where he is facing the consequences of whatever he did in his life. So it's better not to say anything without being 100% sure about it.

Shane Warne, the greatest leg-spinner of all time, has died. Further details will be revealed at a later date. A heart attack is suspected to have caused his death. Despite the controversies surrounding him, Shane Warne is undeniably the greatest player of the modern era. It is with great sadness that I learn of the untimely death of Shane Warne. It is impossible to love the sport of cricket without being totally awed by the man. ShaneWarne, we remember you.

everyone has to go someday and some people leave memories forever. Shane warne is one of those cricketers who will be always remembered.

We haven't heard of his any sickness or anything before. He was found dead in a room at a hotel in thailand. Perhaps we may see some other reason for this death other than the suspected heart attack.
Even it's not good time for talking about these things but most chances in near future we are going to have some different things like this about him because he was a legendary player without any doubt but with this all many scandals and other things were also around him for many times and as he found in hotel room we can expect something suspected about this all. Last year same happen with another Aussie cricket as Dean Jones found dead in his room at hotel in Mumbai and now another case with just one day back we lost another legendary Australian wicketkeeper Rodney Marsh with heart attack, and now they have another lost which is greatest in cricketing world.

While there was time for fast bowlers he gives some great performance with his skills and just because of him now we have too many spinners around this cricket world those want to serve like him. RIP

Really shocking to hear the news, i was going through some of the match updates and then i saw the headline, i was thinking it was fake news at first but then it is confirmed by his family about his demise. The reason is a suspected heart attack according to the source and i doubt what the reason would be. Truly a gem of a cricketer and the best spinner of all time and he will be missed.

Legendary Australian cricketer died at the age of 52, Shane Warne was one of the finest cricketers in the history. I was his huge fan since my childhood. His style was amazing and his throw was perfect. My dad and I , while supporting our team we were very sacred when Shane Warne was bowling. May the departed soul rest in peace, a great loss in deed. Rest in peace Shane Warne you left us mourning.
Saddened on the demise of the champion player he was most celebrated cricketer; who has inspired many with his magical leg spins.  He was a pioneer star with 708 test wickets. The world has been a little poorer with the loss of Shane Warn. Gone too soon, Rest in peace champion!
