Bit coin is not going to die, more and more people are using bitcoin nowadays, some of the government also alr4ady prepare to accept bitcoin payment

When the government accept bitcoin then bitcoin wont die and will be used by many people,if more government can accept it then bitcoin will be the future of money.
Yes you are right, but the bad thing of Bitcoin is that nobody will know what is going to happen with the value of Bitcoin, and that is unexpected.
But if you are now looking at the status of Bitcoin, you can see now that the popularity is going to rise and that is good.
I hope that Bitcoin will be more used in the future and also acceptable.

This is not gonna happen for now since bitcoin is getting mainstream and accepted worldwide but bitcoin will likely end in some decades or centuries im sure of that.

Truly bitcoin won't die, as during these years the bitcoin acceptance and usage has increased. This would make bitcoin to survive for a long term than our prediction.

it is not about the acceptance, read the topic first and you will understand what is it about.

i am not saying i agree or disagree with the concept but, i can tell this much that the fact that bitcoin usage has gone up and more people are using bitcoin is not the issue here.

it is mostly about the future of mining and a little bit about advertising an altcoin you can find its name in OP Cheesy

If Bitcoin is going to die, than it will happen after 30 years or something, Bitcoin have a good future now because you can see that Bitcoin is now doing good.
You also can see that it is more used now and that it is also more popular, so that is very good for the coin.
It wont die that fast and easy.

The mining is becoming too expensive and none profitable. I think that will bring Bitcoin to an end. Another problems is that there is only a few miners left controlled by a few making them controlling Bitcoins. It's no longer the currency of the people but a currency of the few rich companies that runs the show.....but for how long can the continue?

I have been looking at Rimbit  instead since it is premined and therefore don't need the middleman with the expensive hardware for transaction validation. Instead the validation is done by the wallet's running on peoples computers. As I see it it's a currency for the people and it will stay that way. Sadly it's still fairly unknown.

Time will show how long Bitcoins survive but my guess is not more than 3 years......please challenge that statement with serious arguments.

if internet goes down next year,so bitcoin will also die,no more block,no more transaction made, and everyone lost their minds.
for technical reason, its hard to predict bitcoin will die on 3 years, its bitcoin succesfully this year, bitcoin will stay in 5 years more.

In my personal opinion Bitcoin won't die until the last block is mined which won't happen in our lifetime whatsoever. What is going to happen after that I don't know. Perhaps there will be big transaction fees and miners will still get a profit or maybe there will be a new, better crypto coin to take on the legacy of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not going to die for very long period.
It has just started growing like any other currency system.
It will need sometime to grow and stabilize.
Only if some other better currency system would be introduced,it will die.
I think even though other competitors "other currencies" better comes along. I believe bitcoin will still survive and now die. You see ETH have better technology. but bitcoin still survive

there are a lot of factors here if the scenario is to happen.
the bitcoin price should be very low while block reward is halved a couple of times (which is a long way from now) that will make the fees to go very high so people don't use bitcoin so the (reward + fee)*btc price is not enough to keep the equipment running.
also since it is in the future, there shouldn't be any advance in mining equipment and we are assuming it stays the same

why would bitcoin die? its set up perfectly

I'm hoping we get a price increase soon to where we start using Mbtc instead
of the .002 etc. As bitcoin evolves it will become easier to understand and less
intimidating to common folk who are scared of computers and digital currency.

Bitcoin has already gained too much momentum for it to die from lack of users or interest. And as long as there are users, there will always be miners no matter the costs of mining. A few people controlling the majority of Bticoins is nothing new, that's a miniature world economy right there. Even the coin you mentioned, no matter how fair the distribution, given enough time, will fall into the exact same pattern. It's unavoidable, that's how the world operates.

Bitcoin will not die as long as people dont forgot or waste their bitcoins, every satoshi counts now as the value rises. Its impossible besides almost half a million are now using bitcoin around the world.

Actually the lost bitcoins increase the value of other coins and as far as main question is concerned, it won't die but in future it might get replaced by another currency.

If the developers reach a consensus about the future of Bitcoin and put their personal agendas behind I think Bitcoin is here to stay for a lot of years or even decades to come. Everything depends on us - the community behind Bitcoin.
