But for the PPV, there are no price yet, but it will be in the range of $70-$80 if I will speculation.

I will be leaning to as high as 1 million PPV to as low as 750,000 buy. I think Ryan can bring this kind of money in his fight right now, last fight is not PPV against Duarte, but he has set the record with Tank Davis last year with 1.2 million PPV.

This could be the range, as they are not that popular, or the fight is the unification fight. I think Pacman vs Mayweather PPV was around $80-90, so your speculation is quite on point.

Regarding the PPV total revenue, last time Ryan fought, which was against Tank Davis, they were able to sell 1.2 million PPV, so 1 million is quite realistic. But this might not break that fight since Tank Davis has a different appeal, being a KO artist, exciting to watch in the ring.

Everyone interested to see the video of the sparring between Tank Davis and Devin Haney?

Ryan leaked it here: https://twitter.com/RyanGarcia/status/1763400539663122553

As you can see, Tank got the better of Haney here, even rocking Devin and Tank looks absolutely a monster in this sparring.
But as they say, this is just a sparring and perhaps Haney has improved a lot already. But who knows,  Grin

Floyd was the one who originally leaked the video to Ryan, who then posted it on his social media. It probably gets under Floyd’s skin that Haney has accomplished so much and is considered one of the top pound for pound fighters while his own fighter Tank Davis, who has been a pro for longer is not nearly as highly regarded. Floyd is always diminishing other fighters’ accomplishments like Lomachenko, Inoue, and Canelo because he is insecure about his own legacy also.

Haney has responded to Floyd by calling him a hater and a miserable old man.
https://twitter.com/Realdevinhaney/status/1763635124141428980

Also it will be interesting what will be the numbers here even if the fight is in Barclays, very far from Las Vegas where this two has a lot of fan based.

I'm expecting that it could go on a 1 million PPV buys again for Ryan? Cementing his as the next cash cow?

Edit: I was mistaken about this fight not being on PPV. There was many YouTube channels and Twitter accounts spreading that rumor.

I believe the fight will do very well but the schedule is pretty crowded with other big fights that it might be hard to break past 1 million buys.

That's why I was surprised on your unedited reply that this is not a PPV because as far as what I know it is a PPV. Maybe those who are saying that is is not is confused, of course you don't have to pay if you are a DAZN subscribe,

Quote
DAZN monthly subscription: $19.99 on a 12-month contract or $24.99 month-to-month in U.S./ $24.99 per month in Canada/ £9.99 in the U.K. on a 12-month contract, or £19.99 month-to-month/ 13.99 AUD in Australia
DAZN annual subscription: $224.99 in the U.S., $199.99 in Canada, and £99.99 in the U.K.

I think this is just part of the promotion, specially on what Ryan is doing in his social media, he even had video or him or images of smoking marijuana. So for me, this is not the real Ryan, he just wants to be talk now that he has a upcoming fight with Haney. There's also a video of Devin's father Bill also circulating that he has somewhat also smoking a weed.

And he is attacking at all front, releasing the video of the sparring between Tank and then the then very young Devin Haney. He is like doing a psyche war before the fight and wanted to get into the head of the Haney's. And the Haney's response is that they are taking this fight very personal now.

We are not sure if they are really taking it personally or if it's just a show. Nowadays, for a boxer to be popular, you not only need talent in fighting but also need to be an actor to gain the attention of the fans, resulting in significant revenue. Ryan knows this is a big fight but his chance of winning is slim, but he could increase his chance of earning here. So, that's what he is doing now.

If we buy their story, it's up to us, but it's obviously just part of the promotion. Ryan is just too good at it, and Haney is learning how to ride it.

But a boxer needs to walk his talk, if he cannot he will be like Adrian Bronner who loves to talk a lot but cannot back up his actions, Ryan is good at creating hype because he is a social media king an Instagram king and he loves to keep his followers interested, But for me based on their body language they really hate each other, they do not hold back they show disrespect, of course after the fight whoever wins it will be gentleman enough to reach out to his opponent because both of them have an image to protect.

They do not really have to resort to this gimmick if ever this is a gimmick, because the fight will sell because this is Haney and Ryan Garcia boxing fans will be interested because they are both top names in boxing.

But what I'm sure of is the two will go at each other they both wanted this fight to happen since 2018 when Ryan was having a great run and Haney was looking to make a name for himself

I just stumble this video and it was broadcast just yesterday in their press conference this is not looking good for Ryan While Haney shouted to stop using Coke Ryan denied that and admitted that he is drinking and using weed, in the video he is stammering and having a hard time addressing the issue.
Apart from lack of skill, this is already a giveaway that against a vastly improved Haney he has no chance, his weed smoking will affect Ryan's performance, smoking weeds is like smoking tobacco there is a similar effect that can hamper proper breathing

Devin Haney tells Ryan Garcia to lay off the cocaine. What's Ryan's response?

We just don't know if he uses weed when he fought Gervonta, but Ryan is exposing himself too much after this fight he has no reputation to protect, he's also a bad example for the youth like what Haney said in this video.

Haney really has proven himself for being undefeated on his 31 matches. Ryan on the other hand is more of a power puncher in this match. Will be really interesting and I think I would be going for Ryan with this one. Other leopl say that he became different after his fight with tank but that's a normal thing. If I'm not mistaken he never  had a match after that to prove this assumption. And logically, he should be more hungery of winning after his first loss. He should also learned  from that match with Tank. I do think that haney won't give his title easily but the fighter with a bigger drive will be advantageous. I guess this won't also be an absolute exchange of punches and that this is more likely to end with decision instead of a knockout.

Ryan has a history of mental breakdown before and that's why he quit for a while before making a comeback and taking a new trainer in Goosen. However, when he lost to Tank Davis, the switches again, this time he is under the tutelage of Derrick James who trains Errol Spence and a bunch of others.

Haney could use Ryan's weakness to his advantage. I hope he'll do some trash-talking too so Ryan will be distracted going into the fight. Well, as for technique and skills, the edge all points to Haney, so there's no reason here to take a higher risk by betting on Ryan when we know he will not win. The choices here would only go down as to whether Ryan will be knocked out or will lose in 12 rounds. I think the last option is more likely to be the scenario.

Ryan won't step in the ring without preparation. His team anticipates how Devin would perform in the square; they're the challenger in the first place. Same with Haney who for sure knows what Ryan is capable of given his power as proven by his 20 knockout victory. Ryan is the underdog indeed but anything could happen and only the match itself could dictate who will be the winner.

Possible, if I remember correctly, when Canelo signs that $300++ Million from DAZN for a five-year deal, he went to the public and it seems that he is envy with that huge amount. He said that he can get that amount in just one fight, it could be true though, against Manny and Conor McGregor.

So you might have a point, we fans say that Haney is boring and can't bring fans to watch his fights. But if you look closely, as his young age, he has accomplished a lot, more than what his contemporaries, Ryan Garcia, Tank Davis and Teo Lopez.

That was a long time ago; a lot of things have changed now, and it's not relevant anymore. What is Ryan Garcia trying to deliver here? Does he want to convince the fans that he can beat Haney because he was knocked out by Tank when he was a teenager? Ryan has really done things to gain so much attention, but in the end, he is still the one who suffered a defeat against a great boxer like Haney.

I do agree, it was a long time ago, video shows nothing and as someone says, it's very old as Haney was young during that time and Davis was about to hit his prime and it seems that the crowd around is pro Tank Davis anyway. But I think this is the first time that we will see a fight that both has cross path in the amateurs so they really know each other already, and the record is 3-3. I haven't heard or seen a fight in pro level wherein the boxers have face each other this many times in the amateurs.

Also it will be interesting what will be the numbers here even if the fight is in Barclays, very far from Las Vegas where this two has a lot of fan based.

Doesn't really says anything though, Haney says that he is like 16 years old in this sparring match but the did take it and hold his ground against Tank Davis. However, if Ryan is the one who leaks this video then it's going to be personal for the Haney's here. The Garcia's has been on the attack, even his Father says that Bill is nappy or something. I don't know what it means but it sounds derogatory remarks or some racists s**t? And them releasing the video doesn't change anything as Ryan is still a huge underdog. And as I have said, it might make Haney really mad and so he will be motivated to knock Ryan out again similar to what Tank did to him, q-u-i-t.
Tank Davis is 29 years right now, and Devin Haney is 25 years old. If this fight happens when Devin Haney is 17, then Tank could be 21 that time and obviously has a lot more experience and that's why he looks absolutely gonna knockout Haney in that sparring. But the video shows none of that, he just got the better of Haney, bust him maybe with his upper cut and if you look at the body of Tank, it's build it the way it is right now while Haney looks skinny and maybe at the start of his career at 135 lbs and so he is too green during this sparring. Every fight is full of trash talk though, racist sometimes but at the end of the day, this is how fights are being promoted even in the time of the GOAT himself, Muhammad Ali.

Ryan doesn't fight like Tank. It could even be the other way around and Ryan will have difficulty avoiding Haney's punch. But if Ryan could just absorb Haney's punch which is very possible, he could take a risk to be able to counter Haney and this I think how the fight might go. Haney is never a hard hitter, unlike Ryan who has a fast hand and has a one-punch KO.

However, it's true. Ryan is just playing around. Remember this guy is also a psycho. It's not even relevant but he posts these videos anyway. They used to be friends but to promote this fight he just snaps.

They had a second face-off yesterday in New York and as expected Ryan is very aggressive, Haney is just cool, he knows he's the favorite he knows Ryan has a lot of envy in what he has achieved, Ryan on this face-off tries to involve the elder Haney but it seems this time the father and son tandem is just cool.

In this video, Bernard Hopkins, one of Ryan's promoters is giving the elder Haney a shard look while the two are having their thrash talk, Ryan is full of anger I have never seen him this angry, he was not like this on Gervonta, it's good that he did not push Devin Haney, there's a lot to watch out for in this fight, a lot of dramas and a lot thrash talking.

https://www.facebook.com/mmafighting/videos/1131595887996176

Who is that guy behind Ryan Garcia? Is that LeBron James? LOL...

Nah, probably one of his body guards. Lol.  Grin
Yeah I know I was just kidding. he does look like Lebron a first look. LOL.

Ryan knows how to sell this fight; that's all I can say. We all know that Haney is the better fighter here, so him trying to be aggressive during face-off does not guarantee that he'll be aggressive too during the fight. Well, I think he should be because Haney will just roll with his defense and score. If he does not put pressure on Haney, the fight will end up being boring, and he doesn't have a chance to win as it could be another UD by Haney.

Sure, but the thing with Ryan is that he says differently, I mean he tell us that he is looking to cement his legacy or at least make one. But we all know that this is just a whole act in front of the camera. His persona might be very different in public. And fans love him for that, the trash talking and the Haney's too, Bill Haney though is funny with his attack on Ryan's Dad that I don't think they will consider it personal although Haney says that he like Ryan before, but now it's going to be personal for him as well.
I can only point out his ability to sell the fight, as his fight with Tank Davis resulted in success. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they'll generate a huge amount of revenue, especially in PPV. Ryan is living his character; fans like or hate him, it doesn't matter to him as long as people will watch his fight, and in the end, he'll again get a good paycheck. Some fighters, after losing in a championship fight, struggle to come back, but it seems so easy for Ryan; that's because promoters want him.

^^ If I'm not mistaken, Haney could have the advantage if the fight is going to be in Vegas. But regardless though, it could have been the capacity of the venue that why they move it to New York. And I think their fans are going to travel as Garcia's fanbase is LA. Seen some footage of Ryan Garcia in Twitter, fast hands, but it's just a matter on whether he can executed it against the defense of Haney. And at 140 lbs, both could be in the best shape of their lives as they will be no problems with weight management specially with Ryan as he had problems with 135 lbs when he fought Tank Davis. But against Duarte, we can see that his body is build like a natural jr. welterweight.

Both are from LA but Haney is residing in Vegas so maybe it is an advantage for him if the fight is held there. But I think Ryan is banking on Vegas for the expensive ticket sales. The venue will be smaller in Vegas but it is expected to be more expensive which is why it can generate more money than the other venues.

It's not that hard to look good in training. Even none pros can be good in videos too. Ryan did not looked fast in his last fight at 140. But we'll see if there are improvements. What is clear though is Haney looks good, not in training but in his last fight against an experienced 2 time champion.

Definitely no question about the conditioning of Haney, as he always comes out on top in his fights. Ryan Garcia should be the concern here because even though he won his last fight, he wasn't really dominating his opponent from the very start. I was a bit nervous watching that fight, thinking that Ryan might lose. Good thing he was able to develop a new defensive strategy while still keeping his power. But honestly, I'm not sure if his strategy will work against Haney or if he can make the right adjustments to win.

Who is that guy behind Ryan Garcia? Is that LeBron James? LOL...

Nah, probably one of his body guards. Lol.  Grin
