@BitcoinGirl.Club, It's high time for you to change your bio and write I am not a girl. I guess people think you are a girl because of the username. I was thinking the same for a while until I saw somewhere that you wrote you are not a girl, but you were also amazed to see you were nominated for Miss BitcoinTalk. LOL.

Question to GazetaBitcoin and icopress. Let's say BitcoinGirl.Club won the prize, would it be accurate?  Grin (Just asking to be sure).
To the voters: He is not a Girl.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
All hail the manly BitcoinGirl.Club for being more outstanding than other female in becoming miss bitcointalk, seriously found out about this few months ago and sometimes I still forget you are He and not She Cheesy

Friends, with recent development and latest post from admin, does this mean no sponsor for this contest?🤔

Can you tell us why are Tor links going to be a problem?
I hope that doesn't mean that Bitcointalk forum is not going to allow any Tor links anymore, but I wouldn't be surprised if that happens at some point.
I can't wait to see what happens in 2024, my popcorns are ready and I already see who is going to be the new forum antihero Cheesy
For a second it seemed to me that the Admin was talking about all the Tor links... talking about this as something that is associated with the darknet. But I checked and I believe that you are right.

In addition, some things on the Jambler website will be changed (probably the names of the partners will remain, but the Tor links will be removed).

Very cool, I'm still new here and everything is still a big new thing for me, and this vote is recognition and also a great Christmas gift for the good users who help keep this forum high quality.

@icopress
I didn't see that you had already launched the votes when I made my previous post. Therefore, the strategy I was thinking about will be more complicated. But, I can look at the topic and think of a solution, to make everything more practical. We'll see.  Wink

I asked.

You are partly right. Because a directory means a site that is a “directory” for its purpose. In the case of Jambler, only their partners are listed (who actually use their software).

There are no ratings there, and no other mixers are listed. In addition, my signature does not advertise mixing, only BCA and what Jambler actually does (the opportunity to create your own business). Their campaign will also appear in the very near future.

In addition, some things on the Jambler website will be changed (probably the names of the partners will remain, but the Tor links will be removed).

Well, Jambler does not provide services to end clients (except for short-term investing).

He sells software to mixers and receives a commission (something like a franchise). So everyone who votes after January 1 will be safe.

Considering theymos' rules, it would be better to have an official consent from him.

Introducing Jambler, it is impossible not to use "forbidden discussion". For example, he strictly forbids linking to mixers, and directories with links to mixers and on Jambler you have a partner page where up to 7 other mixers are linked. https://jambler.io/mix-coins.php

It will continue to be OK to discuss mixers in a general sort of way. Just don't direct people to mixers: don't link to a mixer, don't link to a directory with links to mixers, don't tell people to "Google ASDFmixer", don't link to a mixer's telegram, etc.

@icopress, I see that jambler.io is a sponsor this year. It is a service that is a kind of gateway for Bitcoin mixers and this sponsorship is a way of promotion here. I assume that you made this deal much earlier, but now after theymos' update, from 2024 the Jambler service will also be unwelcome on this forum and any advertising of them is prohibited.
You, as the organizer, and all the participants in this contest will violate theymos rules after January 1. Even then, we can expect that thread to be deleted, and let's just hope that there will be no banning of users because of it.

Judging by the previous years, the collection, counting of votes and announcement of the winner always took place at least until the end of January of the next year. The winners will not be able to collect the prize, because it is from advertising mixer-related services, if theymos makes an exception because of this contest, then it opens additional holes, so every mixer will want to make a long-term deal while it is allowed.

So here is the only possibility to return Jambler.io funds for the contest and to continue without monetary prizes unless a new "eligible" sponsor appears.

2. I think this rule need to be clarified further. Do you use amount at start or end of voting phase?

If a user having less than 50 merits votes, his vote is basically not eligible (at that moment). However, if until the vote counting period starts he manages to earn 50 merits, then his vote becomes eligible.

3. You must have 50 earned merits to voteNote.

Few thoughts,
1. With same amount of minimum earned merits, i expect we'll see more members take part of the vote.

@GazetaBitcoin It would be interesting to have a rule for how votes are cast, as this would make collecting votes easier.
I've already spoken to @icopress about the matter, but I can talk to you too. Or talk to him to find out what I said.

Thanks for this reminder, joker_josue!

I think we already have a good template from last year. It was suggested by Upgrade00. Is this what you had in mind?

Code:

[li]Golden Feather: [/li]
[li]Bitcointalk Ninja: [/li]

As for enforcing a rule... I don't know if that would actually work. Since many nominate events / fails like "FAILED TO EARN AND HOLD 1btc", "Situación Actual", "Cancel Culture on social media", "Some exchanges are at war", "Get Your Funds Out of Exchange", "BUY THE DIP AND HODL" -- which make no sense (LOL!) -- it would probably be even more difficult to enforce a posting rule, although for the one counting the votes it would be helpful. If we'd enforce such a "voting etiquette" then perhaps even less votes would be eligible...

However, we can make an appeal to users for following a template Smiley

Yes, automatic vote counting is great, but I don't think it will work.

Many people (including me) want to add a description of why they nominated a particular candidate. My point is that there are many factors due to which many votes may not be taken into account.

Just give me a few days to do some testing and share with you what I have in mind.
I just haven't done it before because I've been a little busy. But I will try.

That one made me giggle. I thought exactly about that picture, and you didn't fail to deliver.

How could I? That picture is pure gold

Wait... do you have a file for each one of us?!

Of course! Remember this?

I might have to call a forum police after receiving a call that you are having a party at LoyceV place, not wearing protection and not keeping social distancing  Kiss
We are the forum police. Thank you for your concern, concerned citizen.

 Cheesy

By the way, PytagoraZ confounded us with Clowns Cartel, but I reminded him quickly forum Police is Smiley

Very nice and I cannot wait for the contest to start.
Thank you team for taking care of this cumbersome task of organising, managing, and doing all the counting and sorting for the contest that:

Remember, the contest is about having fun, not a duel for seeing who's da baws

Mixed feelings on this:
Mister BitcoinTalk category was not added, as it would mean to have fillippone winner all the time (on all three places  Cheesy)

So, do you guys having fun? With your "community awards", I'm not here to sow discord, but I'd like to suggest an addition,
Best forum doormat(little submissive bitch) :

If it's possible, add that, I think the competition will be a big one, because there are so many.😉
