As it was once said just hope of the weak.

Religion is just a means to control an organized social embelism.

No.

God is made up by smart people to take control of dumb ones.

Some dude said that god somehow talked him in his dreams, and the other dudes believed him. Or that didn't happen at all. That dude never lived maybe. Some smart people made this story up and printed them out. When it became popular by the masses, the other smart people around the world copied the text and printed their own books Smiley Since we live in the age of internet, those books are no more entertaining than lord of the rings anymore. (Actually i like lotr more)
This is a clear example of what I said. God do not need that to believe in him. This is a man without faith is difficult to live with. And in such cases, a man invents a false gods. Whether it is money, alcohol, drugs, or games. But before his death, a person is required to remember God. Since after his death, all the good it'll Merck no longer needed. Why in critical situations, even many atheists are starting to read the prayer?

Yes, I believe in God.

FYI: You are to write God as G-o-d, not g-o-d.

My reasons: Nature follows an orderly and precise pattern, so precise that you can forecast the whether. Scientific principles are based on the precise laws of nature, we have technology because nature can be counted on to behave in a particular manner ALL the time.
That screams creation.

Nature was created, that is why it's so precise.
If you say no it wasn't, you might as well tell me bitcoin and the blockchain just came into existence, they were not developed by someone.
Good reason. Do you think the universe has certain "laws" that it obeys? [/b]

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Strange you ask questions ... Faith should not be for something or someone. Faith simply must be. If you have questions like these. So you still do not discover the truth. To her knowledge, you do not need to ask questions in others. You need to look inside yourself. And first of all, decide whether you need faith.
It's not a strange question, I am curious if there are good reasons for people to believe other than "the old writings".

What does the old scriptures ?! Your question is strange! What should be the reason to love and respect his parents ?! What should be the reason to love, to love his wife, who gave birth to your children? What should be the reasons that would love your children? Everything that I have listed, God gave us. Is there a reason to love him? But even if you do not accept the existence of God as a fact. So why do you answer to your question? You can believe or not in the fact that the earth is round. From this, it will not change its shape.

As a Catholic myself, yes, i do believe in God. I may not see him physically but i definitely can feel him through His actions. Through his actions, i can feel Him by the trials He is giving me. With those trials, He is showing me how to deal, conquer, live, love and learn from life.

hell yea. I believe on god.
if there is not God then who made the works who created the colors of life and who made humans?

everything have a Creator? and God is the creator of the world it is biggest proof that God is exist.
Some people say humans evolved from other species, but I dont believe. There are roughly 3 billion pairs in DNA, the probability of creating human DNA is extremely small even if I try 100 million times.

Its an interesting idea that everything has a creator, but by saying there is a God and everything has a creator there is a problem: who created God?

Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

Which god? Any of them? I don't believe in gods. No reason to. No evidence for any of it. And it does not help us understand anything around us. It is only another fairy tale we will one day outgrow.
Any god. A personal god (like in the middle east religions), an non-personal god (a creator who created us by accident), a mathematical god (non personal, but creates the mathematical rules of the universe).

Do you believe everything is random?

for me no, there is not enough evidence. i believe that the bible was written by some bored people who wondered how they got here so created a theory. i think that these stories got passed down through word and mouth until someone decided to write them down.
Good reason, many people could write in the past and people of the past had crazy theories sometimes. Do you believe in a non-personal god?

Unfortunately not. There are just too many bad things happening on this planet. And the worst of it all, most of these bad things are not even punished. If God would exist he would intervene more in my opinion

Why does the existence of natural laws mean creation to you? Those laws come from the properties of this universe. If a multiverse exists, different universes with different properties probably exist. Maybe some others with life and some others with nothing. But why does any of this need a creator?

Without GOD there can't be anything. I am a Catholic and I believe HIM a lot, HE is the one who gave me life, teaches how to live, strengthen me while I was surrounded by difficulties and walks with me wherever I go. I feel HIS presence in everything.

This is a on-going debate on religion so no comment on that.

And for non-blievers of that religion is frowned upon because we dont believe in your religion? that in itself is pretty digusting concept - over the years theres people who also make the religion into a business as well.

Lets not get started with scientology, etc. This is why I just stay away, higher power then me then yes.
