Yes because they provide necessary information about that certain ICO and in this way you can use it as a basis on your research if you find it that good and accurate but you can use it as a additional information
I don't believe in them that much but at least they somehow give me some help me with my ICO research. After all, we still need these ICO reviews to get the opinions of the so called experts in the market. However, we should not just dwell on these review site's ratings. Their ratings do not assure in any way that the higher the projects get the more successful they will be. Apparently, that is not the case.

I do not believe this rating, but I always do analysis myself before investing. rely on ratings is dangerous, because they can be paid

I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!
i also often see ico at icobench.com. but we as merchants and hunters can not trust completely on the icobench. as traders we have to see in detail ico before joining, and experience is very important thing.

I don't know how do you gather 2 merit points because it seems your post does not help the community. Your topic was discussed several times in this forum. Look at this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2202645.0;all.
It is usual for a crypto project to have a good ratings but do you know that they can manipulate it? ICO ratings can be paid by the developers. Votes can control by the devs and I do not believe that too much. Yet, it helps to boost the community of the project.

We believe all of the ratings over there. but one thing, the success of every project is not based on how they rated on such website. Those are part of the stepping stone to have a good record and good value.

ICO rating is part of the tool you should use in accessing a project!  Using ICO rating alone will not give you the whole picture of quality you are looking for in an ICO.  ICO rating is good but not enough!
Exactly, this ico ratings gives only the very summary starting from its overall project and to its team etc. Own research is a responsibility for your own so if this ratings from the site has different compare with your own ratings.

One of reffernece is good to see. ICObench, ICOrating only as one of the reference factors when we will invest on a project. But we also should not be too trust in these websites. The best result is when we do our own research on the project that we will invest. So  the ico rating website is just one of our references when we going to do deeper research on a project. I trust more on tokenmarket.net. There are many new ICO rating like now. Tokenmarket is the first.

should take into account that the rating is made by certain people according to one of the known criteria.
we do not know what they base their assessment on and whether it is fair.
Also, investors decide whether to invest money in it or not.

No! I am always categorical in this regard. Of course, many understand that this is psychological pressure on people. Because this is a very many times tested method. I'm sure that this time people will not believe them.

Never rely and trust the ratings of Ico . You must learn to choose good projects without the help of rating

I think you can trust the ICO Ratings only partially. Of course, this is a good tool that allows you to narrow the range of search for a good ICO, but ICO Ratings will not give a 100% guarantee of success.

Most of them are bought ratings, so you should not trust on them soo much as a 1# signal to invest into a project. The best thing that you can do is just to follow your own advices and to make a deep analysis about that project before joining there

I normally check the ICO review and ratings before entering in to a bounty campaign. And so far, it has helped a lot. They are not 100% accurate, but 80% to 85% is enough for me. Anyway, they are providing free service.  Grin

I follow the ICO ratings, i always check them. it's an important criterion but i don't believe its. There are other criteria that i seek primarily. Always i do my own research on ICO and more confidence in myself.

It seems quite clear that their judgments are based on only external criteria. Of course we do not have to believe it, but we must admit that they are quite helpful, at least only to know the outline of the ongoing ico or the upcoming.

Such websites like  ICObench.com, ICOrating.com are very useful and worthy of attention, but completely relying on their ratings would be a mistake, I believe that it is necessary to conduct our own research before making a decision about investments.
You're right i notice also that most succesfull ico have a low rating on icobench and those failed has a high rating it's not advisable to rely on thi sites

ICO reviews are just objective assessments. I think these assessments are just for beginners and are the place to find the fastest ICOs. The actual development of the project must be based on community, development ideas, and development team.
