In my portfolio there are different coins that I hold for a long period and those that trade them daily for some profit, but I prefer longer term

I prefer long-term investment. The main income is given only by it. Trading is very similar to roulette. The only moments when you can trade it on large market corrections. Real assets become cheaper and if you have money you can buy them.

That depends on the coin that I am buying ,
But to be honest I think it is better to do a long term hold than a day trade,
But a day trade also have it's benefits like adding your profit for your next trade.

In long-term storage, you will always make a profit and make several claims, and in order to be engaged in trading, you must at least learn to pass so as not to lose all your money.

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

I really prefer long term hold because I believe that the longer that one holds the greater the price or value one gets, just like in bitcoin for example. When we start holding onto bitcoin knowing that the value is not yet profitable, still we hold onto it and we are patient that it's value will be more in the future, which really happens.

According to the past experience,Long time holding Profit ratio is more than the short time and day trading ratio. Some times your luck also effect to the short time investment and you earn a hug profit but it does not happen for always and it is total risky. BY this mistake investor have to wait for long time to recover the actual investing amount. So always prefer to the long time holding and short time is second option.
It depends on the market price.  just like before I did day trade to pay some bills  I needed to pay, but  still  I prefer to hold my coins for long term until  the market price to soar high  and coin holders will get more benefits if they can wait until
market price becomes  good.

I've never been a trader for a day, because it's very difficult for me to succeed. That's why I really admire people who make money. This requires very sharp instincts, experience and vision. Since I do not have this qualification, I stick to my coins for a long time. Hodl.

Indeed and I agree, not just luck but needs more experience to keep on trading and having good sense on when to buy and when to sell.
Buying Low, hold and selling high isn't enough of being a trader and earning high profits through Cryptocurrency trading is very difficult to achieve that's why if you're working or having a full-time job career then don't quit your job and perform trading because performing trading with a wrong timing will throw away your Crypto Assets in the thin air.

Long term is what I have flair for. This is not because I think day trading is bad or something, but for a beginner like me, I can't afford to incur the risks of day trading cos it may end sending me back to square one. However, despite the huge risks people are actually gaining tremendously from day trading; cos it seems the higher the risks, the higher the potential of the gains ahead.

Since I am joining this forum and signature bounty campaigns - I just simply all my bounty stake tokens because I have a full-time job career that is more than enough to support my family's basic needs so I am not selling my Crypto Assets.
I am after for long term goal so that's why I am holding every single coin and token on my wallets because as of now it's not a time year to fulfill my goals in life like buying new house, buying new car and investing into some local businesses in order to have a lot of income sources.

Which profitable actually depend on the situation of market and depend on the level price you bought. Sometimes just by long term holder promising higher profit. But in other situation like when many bad news and many FUD, day trading will more profitable and less risk. So to increasing your skill in trading, i think you have to do both way, so you will know which will be more profitable and know the level of risk each.

I personally do not always the same on every altcoin I hold. I was a merchant, before, I always studied the altcoin first
after that I am sure to trade it every day. the rest for another altcoin I will hold as long as the coins have not grown.

I recently began to delve into the crypto currency, so on the hold there are only tokens, i only need to learn to trade, it brings a good income, but no one is insured against losses. I hope I will succeed Smiley

for trading bitcoin and altcoin I definitely prefer to long term trading rather than short term trading because the benefits you get will be more and you will avoid the risk of getting stuck at high prices. please prove it because I have proved it.

When you just come out to investments and crypto and so on, daytrading has be to out of the question! Why? You will end up losing more money, rather than making anything. Patience is the key to success.
HOLD for long term and you will see insane results! Trust me, there has been a lot of moon rides in the past, there will be even more in the future.

I like the long term trading is good because I do not have enough to do the day trading.I also think the long term trading are suitable for me because the coin I hold is good for this.

I'd go with long term hold because I tried daily trade and it didn't work out. Sometimes I had to sell shitty coins at loss which was a bad habit haha

I prefer to hold for long term than day trading but its good doing both, just set one of the altcoins to hold and do trading one of the altcoins that you like but its risky doing day trading.

I would prefer long term holding than day trading because I think it will make me gain more profit. On day trading, even though it's very tempting to trade when there's a sudden rise in the market, still think of the future of the coins you've invested to and keep holding. I do it sometimes for earning a little profit, though it's more risky than long term. So let's just focus on holding.
