Yes i read whitepaper , why ? if you wanna invest in a coin you and you dont wanna loose your money make sure that you make research one of this is reading whitepaper whitepaper would be the explanation of the project , roadmap , team etc. When you are satisfied after you read thats the time you invest in the ico or coin.
As i read in the previous comments and searching samples of a whitepaper, I think whitepapers are very important when investing or being a participant in an ICO. I see it as a detailed and complete information layout of what the project is about and what benefits you will have if you join in them.
In fact, I did not pay attention to the white paper of the project because I do not understand the technical details, I lack the analysis of the project team and their plans.

For me, I always do thorough reading of a white paper before deciding whether or not to invest. It is actually one of the most important factor to evaluate the potential of an altcoin. But I can easily spot a decent white paper while not necessarily reading them all.
Nowadays many of the projects have like a one page snapshot so that one can get a full summarized picture. Agreed that reading long and technical whitepaper becomes boring sometimes..however, at least making an effort to read the abstract and token metrics always helps.

Sometimes ,but sometimes too i only depend on my friends if i want to know if one ico`s has a chance to be succes also the bounty.Honestly by this year i have no encounter scam bounty or ico`s.

I only invest in coins with decently written whitepapers, the crappy ones are easy to filter out and from the good ones i learn a lot! win-win

In fact, I'm too lazy to read completely white paper since it takes too much time and does not guarantee protection from the scam. I think it's enough to read OnePage.

Yes I read whitepaper even though there are too many. Read the whitepaper, it can be useful in determining a good ICO. If you really want to get a decent profit, if you want your investment to be worth it, you should read the whitepaper to get a clear understanding of their project, its purpose and many more. You should also consider the roadmap, and the website. On their website, you can see a detailed information of their project.
If a certain project interests me, I certainly do read detail by detail their whitepaper. Since I am an investor also, I hold tokens/coins that I believe will grow as years go by, I read their whitepaper so that I can understand fully their project and will make me convinced that this project is worth my investment.

If you are really true investor you will read every detail of project whitepaper why? Because this is important you will find in whitepaper the project goal/roadmap because of this you can decide if the project are legit or have a real product.

any coin i'm interested in, i would read the whitepaper. at least get general idea what is the coin about.

Tbh only when I'm sure that i like project and want to know more. Otherwise website is enough to know most of details, but if you plan to invest in anything then there is two things to do everytime. First you need to check team if it's real team or not. And last you have to read whitepaper to know more.
White papers are the most direct way to learn about a project directly. If you are a careful person you can see a lot of information in the white paper

I have read many whitepapers but any this document appeared as useful for me. The main flaw is absence of specifics. There were a few numbers. No real roadmap, no sources ways of getting money.
