I have been investing in cryptos for some years now and i always have to fight a battle with myself whenever i sell some of my cryptos or close my positions in a trade and the price continues to go higher.

Sometimes i regret selling, while sometimes i just try not to look at the particular crypto anymore to avoid having regrets.

Do you also encounter this? And how do you deal with it?
Yes, most of us do.

The catch is that you need to set your mind to be happy with the gains and profits that you are cashing out. Don't ever look into it as if you regret selling because if you do, that will keep haunting you until you messed up with your emotion.

I'm dealing with it through selling a little by little if I want to take profit. At least leave a portion for that coin so if ever you see it pump, you still own some and you won't feel bad about it.

Yea i think you make a lot of sense... no one gets mad if they sell a coin or token and the price dumps afterwards.

So i think its a matter of setting personal targets, and taking the desired profits when these targets are met and having no regrets because no one has a crystal ball to predict the future and it may most likely hurt a lot more if you refuse to take profits when you get to your price targets and the price dumps afterwards
You should do that so you won't feel regret if you've sold and the price keeps rising for that token. You need to accept the fact that you've made a profit for that particular price whether it's going to be low in the future or higher in the future.

Forget it once you've sold.

And once you've already the money or profit you've made for that sale.

I consider myself particularly unlucky in how my trade decisions had yield.
Thought things are not going great and sold my bitcoins for 18K+, it was a 50% price profit anyways but had no coins when the price ultimately rose. Similar thing happened with BNB, sold it for $64 for a x2 profit but the price is around $300 now. Similarly sold my KCS holding for $0.8 on a loss and now the price is getting near $3. I am bad luck.

you're not the only one who experienced that stagnant KCS whose price was stuck at $0.83 for weeks and then i tried to dump mine for wasting time. all of a sudden it feels like the traders are just waiting for my dumps to be filled before pumping it. when they say buy the dip, it should solemnly be followed but hold it for a long time until you reach the profitable trade.

I experience this often especially with new coins pumping more than I thought, let's say my AME bought this coin for $ 0.0003 and sold it for $ 0.005 and the current price has hit $ 0.05. This is absolutely impossible as it hit their ICO price of $ 0.03. but yes, this is my bitter experience

Am just laughing when reading through op's post not because its funny but because this same thing happens to me most of the time and i always feel the same way, ive had this experience many times but ive learned to deal with it, what i normally do is after selling, i close that market entirely and will avoid looking at it, but sometimes , am always tempted to look at the market to see how that coin is doing, if in this case i find the coin going up, i just pretend and tell myself i never owned that coin in order to aviod any regrets, but if the coin is going down, i am happy cus i made the right decision of selling.

Several times i have experience this, sometimes i feel the unseen crypto power is against me  Grin, i am annoyed when i see the project i have held for days suddenly go on a pumping spree after i have sold out of frustration, in fact it is un-explainable, but you have to accept it and invest on other upcoming ones that are yet to explode,
A project pumping after selling is an inevitable situation we can not avoid since nobody has a crystal ball to predict what will happen next.

Yeah this can happen to anybody, everybody wants to make profit and not just any profits, I'm talking about big profits and the thing is from my own side of my story I have lost more than I've make in crypto space so I'm not ready to keep taking some unnecessary risks instead I prefer to take my profit and never look back, it is that easy

Of course, we cannot do without a feeling of regret about the sale at a relatively low price of our tokens. This happens periodically and this is normal. But you should always remember that none of us can always get the highest profits in cryptocurrency. After all, this market is very unpredictable and from time to time every participant in this market will lose lost profits all the same. So we must treat such losses as inevitable.
I also see how much the price of the token or coin I sold has grown. This is necessary to better understand this market.
Indeed, this market cannot be predicted by any other method, the value can spike but it also falls immediately, and the range for the up and down is not limited, so we want to sell at the highest level is impossible, we sometimes feel regretful when we sell too early but at some point we will thank for this action, I used to be very angry and regretful when I panicked selling but over time, I have become more mature and calmer with the crypto market. This market is a competition for survival, a moment of momentary glory will not be able to determine the end result

One can only repent when seeing prices keep rising after he/she sold their coins. The majority of the people face this even I also face this many times but one should be satisfied if he/she achieves its desired target because we can not predict exactly where the market will stop.

A coin bounces up after we sell it and moves down after we buy it, I have experienced that a lot.
I don't think we need to get mad, all we have to do is study the trade so it doesn't keep going like this.

I think it's the same feeling we've had, happened like that often and just regret and a little disappointed with the actions we have done. I hope that an incident like this will be an experience in the future.

Yep I got mad because months ago I sold my BNBs while its price was $20. It was stuck on $20 be a very long time so my patience run out then I decide to sell for BTC.  its not something that I'm regretting but it should have made my money bigger. I will try to find some tokens that dip and then will keep on holding til it pumps. Everything seems to be pumping anyway, TRON is.

This are one of the cruel things to happen to an individual lol; situations like this makes you doubt your research skills and analysis, but do not be detered. In as much as you have sold in profit; you made the right trading and investment call. Do not let emotions mislead you.

Regrets will always be there after selling at a much lower amount then seeing the token rise even more. Had that happen to me on ETH. I got greedy and sold at a decent amount. Should've hodled more lol volume still rising which is pretty good.

I am not mad, but perhaps, I regret it a bit because I can't hold for long. It did happen to me many times, but I am trying to feel natural and not think much about that because I am sure that I can make another big profit from the other coins. Perhaps, the only thing that we can deal with it is by accepting that thing and not think much about that, so we can still have confidence and convince ourselves that we can make another profit for the other coins. But it is normal if you feel regret that you sold too early, and I think that is why you need to learn more to find a good time to sell your coin and make a big profit.

I have no regrets. because every investment we already have a target. and if the increase occurs after we sell it is normal. The most important thing is that I have got the target I wanted.Maybe a trader will experience a little regret. especially if the increase occurred not long after he sold.  For this we should just act normal. this is something that often happens

We all want to make more gains from our investments but it is not always possible that way. Most times the market beats us to this and make us feel sad. What you should do in order not to regret whenever price goes up is to make sure there is a concrete reason you sold for or what plans you have for the cash realized from the sale. Look at that part and be contended. This is a great strategy that I use.

I have been selling and investing cryptocurrency for many years. And when I need to sell, I sell, so at this moment I need funds. And I never regret that I sold at the price that was at the moment. And then I see that the price has gone up, and I say to myself: I made a profit from the sale, but I may not get it if the price suddenly becomes unprofitable. And now, for me, it does not provide any difficulties in selling cryptocurrency, since the sale always makes a profit. I am not chasing more profits because you can lose what you have. And as a result, you can get a loss.
