Now KYC requires almost all ICO. I don't mind doing a KYC. I try to carefully choose the projects for investment. And so I'm sure the ico project is really safe.

KYC is ok for prevent cheating, but a lot of project have hard to pass KYC or KYC algorithm working is not good as they expect. I see some project have a lot of people pass KYC and cheated huge amount of airdrop. That why i don't support project which have KYC and airdrop.

I think there is nothing wrong if you really have chosen a project for investment and are ready to invest in it your money then the passage of the procedure KYC should not cause you to abandon this project! But I do not advise to undergo KYC in different airdrop and dubious companies.

I think that KYC in ICO is necessary. But as for the airdrop, then I think this is absolutely superfluous. Personally, I never do airdrops with KYC..I do not recommend you to participate in such airdrops.

I though that all ICO`s was requiring to do a kyc (know your customers), we have no reasons to not passing our identity if we are truly investor, but make sure that the project that you choose is responsible ,because i heard some news that they`re using our identity for illegal things so make sure for it.

I like to think people here are saying they are worried about their data falling into the wrong hands with dubious ICOs but then they have no qualms giving away money to these same dubious ICOs.

Myself, I haven't done any KYC for ICOs since the ones I participated in last year didn't have KYC processes. And one that I wanted to strangely didn't accept my documents (turned out not to be a good ICO in the end as they are still unlisted) so I saved myself some problems there.

I never pass out my identification to any crypto related business. Crypto currency means privacy, anonymity, KYC regulations are against the nature of crypto currency business. I understand they have to deal with legal issues, but they are not crypto currencies, they are just digital tokens.

Well, I look first at the project if it is well designed and made of high quality then of course I participate in it and I will not be difficult to pass KYC!

Yes it depends on the project if it is worth it to join or not. Of course you wouldn't just immediately submit your documents if you think there is something fish with the project. If anything, a project that requires KYC for me is an advantage to an ICO because it would mean that they are just compliant with the authorities so that they wouldn't have any problems in the future and they can trace the flow of money.

If the airdrop also uses KYC of course if I think it's very risky. And especially now that a lot of people who complain that much has happened for fraud. Of course, if this remains resumed airdrop will fall and did not gain the trust of all the people. And you have to be smart in choosing the airdrop.

Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

In my own thoughts, it would be better if not to do KYC because as of the moment, the verification of it will take more time and it will lead for all participants to get bored and it will affect to the reputation of the project. But if there are changes to the verification of KYC procedures, then I think it will be a good way to eliminate multi accounts.

Yes, I do.  Cool More than 70 percent of the ICOs require KYC-verification, and all of the major ICOs do. Like rest 30 percent is only the crap ones. So anybody that need to join an ico have to submit their information to get approvel in kyc. There is no other way

Yes, I participated in such ICOs, although I think that this is not correct. But there's nothing to do if I liked the project.

You may wait for the release of this coin on an exchange and purchase. Maybe you even win because most of the coins fall in price tenfold after sales and entry in the market!

Now the best ICO always require KYC, that's why we have no choice. We have to participate to gain profit and pass all procedures.  Lips sealed

For me, i quite support KYC in ICOs because this will help avoid someone using ICOs like a tool to money laundering but for some Airdrops, KYC is unnecessary and i dont understand why must they ask this.
Actually KYC is good for ICOs, but bad for investors because we can completely leaked private information through ICOs, although this is hard to happen but when we participate in many ICOs, the risk also increases. The best we should only join ICOs that judged high by crypto community.

I consider participating in ICOs that require KYC is not safe at all. There is not guarantee that your data will not be leaked and wouldn't go to the wrong hands, so i will certainly avoid these ICOs.

Being anonymous is fine yet make sure to only provide the document on the trusted ico and company only. You would never want to provide your data to theft and they could be used your document for the illegal purpose. I'm fine with KYC as long as I know what is the purpose behind it.

I don't participate in dubious ICOs that require KYC, in that way my data can fall into the hands of scammers. We know a lot of sad stories on how  they traded personal data of users in the Internet. If this is a reliable ICO, then I do not see any particular problem in providing data. This is a logical measure, as there have been frequent cases when black money was running through ICO-investments.
