I think for now people have gotten to know that sometimes projects that requires KYC are becoming successful so they join it. I also have agreed to that but normally don't join them.
KYC is the trend now, i mean almost all of the ICOs require them because it is required by the law in their place. Asking for KYC is not a guarantee that the project will be successful.

I think I have participated in quite a number of bounty/airdrop that requires kyc but the surprising part of it is that most of these bounties would not explicitly set it out straight that reward is attached to kyc at the beginning of the bounty but not until when distribution is at the corner and if any participant is unfortunate to fill the kyc, then all his contribution is in vain.

I and my friends are joining the IOCs that require KYC. But we participate in every ICO project. I have never filled a KYC form with scam ICO projects. Because I'm afraid of misuse of my private information.

That sounds reasonable. But I question your judgement. I don;t believe that every project you have picked was good and you never hit a scam project. If you can do it is great, but I don;t think that it is possible.

I don't really have a problem joining bounties like that but one thing I always fear is that they shouldn't use my details in any fraud activity.

It depends, but all of the icos are asking for KYC nowadays, that is the main reason of why there arent many investors as they used to be during the last few months of 2017

Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

I can still reason if you can actually participate in ICOs that require you pass their KYC before buying their ico but what about an airdrop which is just a free token given to participants who filled the airdrop form? For crying out loud, they are not customers and should not be subjected to KYC.

KYC for exchange may not be a bad idea but i would be weary of ICOs requesting for KYCs, especially if there are no obvious legal impediments as regards the ecosystem being developed.

Yeah i do join ICOs that requires KYC because a good and reputable company will always want to know more of her investors. Though i always do research of any ICO am venturing into so as not to fall victim of scam and misuse of investors private information.

First of all, I look at the project itself. If it suits me, for no problem pass KYC. Although I'm against it.This violates the whole essence of crypto

I strongly agree that there is a KYC, because this is a form of special attention to customers, besides adding to this trust as a promotion for new projects if the next program is held.
other than that the existence of this kyc will increase trust for investors.

I join ICOs that requires KYC only if it has a recommendation from my friends here in crypto, also if I saw and can convince me that it has a legit project. Just like others here, I didn't give my personal information plus a selfie holding my id's because we never know they can use our identity in making illegal things.

Yes, I do, but only if the project is too promising, I just don't like giving away my personal information to anyone, who knows what they will be doing with it, plus, if nothing else is required I have no problem in making a little effort of giving my info, again, only if I trust the project.

I think there's nothing wrong with that. After all, companies with a reputation will require proof of identity.

If it is a good ICO and worth to gamble my personal identity then i will go for it if investor who invest thousands of Dollars submit ICO then why an ordinary bounty hunter like me would refuse to do so. as long as we are selective and would pick the best ICO then KYC is fine for me

KYC is ok for me if the ico can prove that they are compliant and  certified in the country that they are operating, if they cannot show anything I'll definitely not going to join that ICO with KYC there are reports that they are selling people identity in the black market or dep web.
