But indeed for commission work, it is clear that the challenge is also quite a bit difficult because if we don't master this well then we will actually only have difficulties, especially if there is indeed a target that we must achieve.
On the other hand, for basic salary jobs, it is less difficult when working because we only have to continue to follow the work standards that are applied but this is certainly not as heavy as for commissions, I think and I prefer this option.

If you are someone who likes stability and doesn't want to scramble, a job with a basic salary will be very suitable. But for me, I always want to earn more money, love to discover new things because it can help me get great opportunities, and always set goals for myself to try every day, I like commission work.

No job is better than another, each has its own pros and cons. Depending on the thoughts and personality of each person, we choose to suit ourselves. As long as we feel comfortable, satisfied when working there, we have done the right thing.
True, there is nothing wrong in this because indeed everyone has their own perspective and it depends on the desire to determine whether it is more comfortable to be in a job with a basic salary or indeed looking for a job with a commission. The most important thing in this case is that when we have made a choice, what we have to do is stay focused on that choice so that the results we do are maximized because we also have our own demands and we are paid to do what must be done according to the standards of the company that employs us.

Once a man, twice a child!
To be frank, I don't like any of the two. I like being the CEO, the employer myself. My position stems from an in-depth scrutiny of the situation. I've worked both as an employee and employer and then realized as an employer of labour, no one pays their employee more than 10% of the total money the staff makes for the company. No matter whatever salary you get paid, thinking it's cool, it's invariably less than 10% of what you would've made for the company. However, if it boils down to choosing between commissioned and salaried job, every proactive employee should go for commissioned job. They efforts will earn them more independently.

A commission-based job — easily. I'd prefer me having to earn more when I outperform and/or work harder rather than having a "safe" salary. It really depends on a case to case basis though; someone in a bad financial situation might want a stabler income especially if he/she sort of lacks the skills and connections.
There’s always limitless opportunities to earn when you work for a commission bases particularly when you are good and shows more passion in your job. You can always target higher profits and set it as your monthly goal. However, with salary based jobs, I believe its what most of the people want to venture in because aside that skills and high knowledge are not required, as long as you can do your job the right way, you will always receive a fixed and decent amount of salary.

Proportional salary will certainly train employees to work optimally and professionally, for example in my place there is a fine if it's too late, does not come to work and so on, so that when the time to get a salary then the employee discount can vary, but on the contrary if employees can work professionally then deserve an award or additional money.
What if the employee is sick? Are you also not given slack at work? Because illness is an unpredictable thing when it will come and when it will recover, so it would be very cruel if a company did not consider the problem to its employees. In terms of salaries that are different from professional employees, I don't think it's a problem because employees who have certain professions are sometimes also difficult to find, so it's natural for such employees to get an additional salary.

I think this is a different case, if you are sick, but there must be a doctor's certificate, I think it can only be said that it does not violate the agreed rules,

As much as possible, we want a stable profit where we control our time. Unfortunately, that was not always the case even for a commission job. To make things not difficult, try to always choose where our time will be worth it and pays well.

Really hard to find a job that is convenient for some people and in return, pays well decently that's why as much as possible, if there's an opportunity to setup an own business, try to consider doing it.

It's really a good practice to work wise but sometimes really need to work hard first before being wise.

However, with a salary based job, as long as you do your job right, you will always be compensated with that. So there is more security here even if your performance level has decreased.

But this is not always the case that employees that are not proforming get enumerated completely. In some cases they are tied to certain requirement for payment and when they don't get to it they are paid incomplete. Normally there are task that the company will require from their employees before they get paid even on salary based income.

It depends on the person's personality. A commission-based job is profitable, but you need a quick responsive attitude for that. Introverted people will not be interested in this type of job because it requires a lot of communication. Also, a salary base job gives security to a person. You do not have to be tense about your monthly income even if you can not do any work for a few weeks.
If you chose commissioned based job, it requires more socialization because you have to build a connection between you and your client in order for you to create a successful deal, otherwise you’ll be left behind and won’t make a profit if you can’t make it. So it takes more flexible personality so you can cope up with your job. However, with a salary based job, as long as you do your job right, you will always be compensated with that. So there is more security here even if your performance level has decreased.

I handled both, and tbh I would prefer salary over commission. There's just a lot of variables affecting commission-based jobs that will really render you to put in the extra effort just to get something off of it. Whereas in a salaried job you literally just have to clock in for 8 hours every single workday and you'll expect something. Sometimes salaried job can be tedious but hey, there will be your 'downtime' days wherein you wouldn't really perform naturally, but you'll still be paid. If you do that on commission-based jobs, good luck finding a client or making a sale with that.

If you're the type of person that never runs out of energy, go for a commission-based job. But if you're average just like the rest of the populace, salaried jobs is IMO miles ahead than commission-based jobs.

This is a difficult question to answer, because everyone will have a different opinion. to be sure, I can't say which one is better and which one is preferable. it all depends on a case by case in the field of work, in essence both have their own advantages depending on the competence and integrity of a person.

have a salary-based job, which will definitely get a stable source of salary in accordance with the position/career you have. have commission jobs too, providing a source of income that may be greater than salary-based jobs, depending on the type of work. however, in essence as I said before.

if someone has competence, is willing to work hard, is creative, and most importantly has high integrity. whatever the job, whether commission-based or having a fixed salary, will produce a relatively good income in accordance with their respective fields.

Commission jobs and salary jobs have got there advantages/disadvantages but on the terms of which I would prefer, I would go for a Commission job. Reason being that, it would give me the flexibility I need given the way my life and work is scheduled right now. I don't need anything holding me down at a place a place as I still look forward to gaining in on more opportunities out there and Commission jobs kinds of exposes you to people as well.
Salary jobs might offer securities as your sure of your pay without having to close in on a job but you hardly get what is your services worth from a Salary job.

In commission based jobs, you would likely end up job hunting endlessly. It is like freelancing if you would ask me. You are the boss of your own, but you would end up working endlessly just to close a sale. If you are struggling financially, at least a salary based job would be a "mental" cushion for you so you have a guarantee salary and it is not just the end of the month, there are businesses that pay bi-weekly.

I disagree that you have no personal time in salary based job. It depends on the industry you are at. There are a lot of software devs out there that just did not do work at all the whole week, because there is nothing to work out and the company will pay them regardless since they are present in the workplace.

If you arent that good in marketing(common) when we do talk about commission based on which this would be likely on recruiting or convincing people to buy or deal up on something which you are
offering then its better to stick into those fixed salary rather than making yourself getting along with this and forcing to be that on making money. Not all would really be that effective when it comes
to marketing which they would be ending up on having no sales or whatsoever correlated to this. This is why i do much prefer on working on jobs which does have fix salary.
It might be have its con's when it comes to limitation but you would really be having at least do have sureness on your salary.

Since I have a somewhat lazy personality, I chose a job based on salary. There were times when I struggled more to earn more money, but as I got older I thought it was unnecessary and started to prefer fixed salary jobs because I saw that it was better to take less responsibility and live a quieter life on reasonable terms. I think I feel happier now than before because my mind is so relaxed. Life is too short and nothing is more important than my comfort.

Commission jobs pay well but it's not that we do have several works online. It depends on availability and demand. The salary base job is fixed and it's a long-term period. Much better if the salary is really competitive and there are lots of benefits as well.

What to choose now? Maybe if I can handle both, I will try it. Sometimes we really need to do multiple jobs in order to save enough money.

Then later on, if I have enough money to start business, I will forget those jobs and will began to manage my own investment.

I prefer career jobs or salary base jobs, as mentioned. This kind of job brings stability to the employee and his family. There are many potential benefits and increasements on his wage as he rises in career, while keeping the same workload.

On the other hand, if you want to earn more from comission jobs, you have to work more, you have to invest more time without the guarantee you are really going to earn more after all. There are less guarantees and benefits for this kind of employee. Social skills are also a must and not everyone is able to communicate to the public in a clear, charismatic and captivating way.

But since opportunities are scarce for all nowadays, we can't choose with what we want to work. Any opportunities available (since they are legit) must be taken in consideration even if it is not the job of your dreams.
Most especially in this present time of inflation, any legal job can do as long as it can sustain our basic commodities and expenses from living our lives. However, if you can be given a job of your own choice that manifest your interests and skills, definitely it will be all worth working and satisfying on our part. Regardless if it’s for commission bases or salary based jobs, the most important thing is that you were able to enjoy your job and be the best version of what you can be.

There's better assurance in a salary-based job than in a commission-based job. Commision-based jobs offer a higher salary but there's no guarantee that you could always win clients especially if the account is too complex. In a salary-based job, you only have to perform your best to fulfill all the given tasks and you will be paid accordingly. Those who seek assurance and stability would prefer to receive a salary regularly.

Agree on salary based on an assurance; this is best for those people with a family to feed so that we can still feed our family after a month. I know with the commission-based job, they can earn more, but I wonder if this will be stable. Like what happens when the pandemic hits, right? Most of all are closed, and I wonder if you can still get clients at that time; though most of us are affected by this, we can still be sure with salary-based jobs that, we can get money after a month or so. Though still, this depends on the people because you can earn in a commission-based job that could last for almost a year

When choosing a commission-based job before we must really consider first,
especially in terms of communication because as you said also commission based jobs would be more suitable for those who have communication skills
