I will go for the salary based job because its safe like fixed earnings will be there for every week or month respectively. Commision based jobs can get higher income rate but more the company grow the competitiveness so the chances of earnings will get lesser and lesser also I witnessed company will make the job harder once they become established.

However any job is like a trap, we sill stuck in their forever, its the beginning or everyone's career and build their own empire.

It depends on the person's personality. A commission-based job is profitable, but you need a quick responsive attitude for that. Introverted people will not be interested in this type of job because it requires a lot of communication. Also, a salary base job gives security to a person. You do not have to be tense about your monthly income even if you can not do any work for a few weeks.

There's better assurance in a salary-based job than in a commission-based job. Commision-based jobs offer a higher salary but there's no guarantee that you could always win clients especially if the account is too complex. In a salary-based job, you only have to perform your best to fulfill all the given tasks and you will be paid accordingly. Those who seek assurance and stability would prefer to receive a salary regularly.

a job with a salary basis is more promising, we don't know what will happen to us in the future, when we are sick or unable to do the work we do so we can't get the slightest commission. it's a big risk when we choose commission work.

I think it's better to find a job with a more profitable salary basis even though there are many burdens that must be carried but at least it doesn't interfere with our finances and we don't have to think about many things to do the things we will do to survive.

What you say about the job with a salary basis is true, but do you find it too boring because as you say there is no need to think much to do everything. This will make you lazy and unlucky if your current job has problems like the company goes bankrupt or you are replaced by someone better. You will be in big trouble right after that because you don't know how to think and can't do anything but that old job.

In case you do a commission job, you will become agile and flexible in all thoughts and actions because every day you must always think how to achieve today's sales goals to earn income. If your old job has a problem, it will be easier for you to get over it and find yourself a new job as it will probably be easier in your day job.
I think preference is person to person based, because while doing a commissioned job makes you think out the ideas and processes involved by oneself, a job is more or less routine. One may get bored at doing a particular job for a very long time and thus become stale. The essence of living is lost where one doesn't find meaning in what he/she does for a living.
Living on my own terms while working at better ways to improve my income is more rewarding in the long run compared to doing a job for month end salary money.  I like commission job better, but the economy right now with inflation biting down hard has made it become even more challenging to survive on just two means of income. A part time job in addition to offering commission jobs if one does have that kind of skill is more profitable right now.

Commission jobs means you should have more clients than you can handle. The purpose is to not be idle any time. The salary will make it look like you are being paid daily. Double or triple what they make but it means working harder to achieve it. There will be sleepless nights and even not being able to go home just so you could finish it all if ever a time comes both clients gave you a specific time to finish it at the same time.

The issue is when you get old. Retirement, medical, and other benefit stuffs that daily wages give, you don't have it. So, you will need to work on it yourself. When commission base workers get old, they don't find clients anymore just because of their age.

The middle ground of this is people like me who have a freelancer job that has been going on for years. I mean this doesn't really stop each other, you could be at home, get a freelance job, and keep working for that like a salary based on how much you work. Imagine journalism, you write for newspapers right?

The more you write, the more you get paid, so you have incentive to work harder, and if you can write 24 hours a day then you would do that, life sometimes gets in the way but you could totally do that if you could. This is why I believe that it's quite important to face the fact that freelance+monthly income could become something together if you can find that job.

The current economic conditions are very difficult and these 2 choices are also difficult, when we work base jobs, the salary given is also small, but when the economic conditions are still recession like this, I think Commission Job is more worth trying than salary base jobs.

The economic crisis will cause spending and shopping to drop sharply, so commission jobs will be difficult to reach customers. With the jsalary base job, the working time will also be cut and the salary will not meet the daily demand because the items have increased by 15-30% while our salary has not increased. In this case, both are not dominant.

Commission job work will help us be more active and positive at work as well as more responsible for our life because to achieve our goal, we have to work continuously. Unlike commission jobs, basic salary jobs give us a stable life, less competition and you hardly have to worry too much about your life. Both have pros and cons, depending on the preferences that each person will choose the job they love and suitable for their personality, it is impossible to say which is better than the other.
The choice will depend on your needs, what exactly does a person need, calm and measured work, or does a person have any aspirations and motivation? Energetic people who want to achieve more in this life very often leave work and create some kind of business, in this case they will have to work just as much, but at the same time the person will be his own boss.

As explained both have benefits, me? I'm a salary based person, but I quit my job long time ago to focus on business and then crypto trading/investing.

But there are some of my friends who really thrived on commission based, I don't know how do they did it, but I will tell that they are very successful. Specially in selling properties like condos and houses, it will take some time for them, but once they got their first sales, it's smooth sailing. One thing they told me is that network is very important for them and that you just don't know, maybe the person you just met will be your future clients.

Right now I prefer salary base jobs because I want security, if I already have enough skills and capital then I will try the luck of Commission Job, especially since I want to have freedom of time so it will be difficult if only focus on salary base jobs.
Working and getting a basic salary at a company is a very good thing, because everyone wants to have a job and a basic salary that matches their expertise. But to find additional income in life, everyone still needs to rely on better time, skills and focus so that they can get additional income that is greater than the basic salary you often receive every month. So both I think are good for you to work on as long as you have more time and skills.

People have different preferences and financial situations that's why whether it's a commission-based or salary-based job, both are useful at some point. There are even persons that already have a fixed salary base job but still doing part-time, freelance, or any other commission jobs just to maximize the potential earnings they can get although, on the other hand, it will take a toll on their physical and mental health.

As for me, that has a fixed job, I'm thankful to have a side income and other opportunities to earn. But everything should be balanced and not get to the point that I always feel exhausted because of taking on lots of different work at the same time.

You certainly need to be a charismatic and outgoing person in the sales industry. I don't classify as such, and I'd have a hard time surviving in such an environment. On the other hand, I have thought that car sales would suit me because I'm a huge fan of automobiles. However, salesmen are often forced to trick customers into thinking they're getting a great deal by selling them a defective or problematic vehicle, which I find completely unethical and a scam practice. I could never do that; selling something knowing that it has issues is a no-go for me.

I'd rather have both, there are companies that offer both wherein an employee can have a regular salary while having a commission.  This is the beauty of being involved in a marketing and sales company.  Not all people have options like this.  Basically, office people are forced to accept a salary base job while those at the free agent / independent distributor are forced to accept a commission base job.

Those who enjoy these two kinds of salary are mostly company agent that is involved in sales and marketing such as Drug company agent, and alike.

You also won't get paid if you don't work even if your job is a salary base.

I think it's better to find a job with a more profitable salary basis even though there are many burdens that must be carried but at least it doesn't interfere with our finances and we don't have to think about many things to do the things we will do to survive.

Indeed those who have no skill in marketing and sales should choose salary base job.

There are levels of job criteria as you mentioned, I mean some countries are not fully available on the general criteria regarding the jobs you mentioned. But if I were given a choice, I would choose commission-based workers.
This type of work is suitable for people who have skills and like to work hard. Interestingly, we are not made into machines by others, because based work like this becomes the sole owner, therefore skill and hard work will never go to waste, because if we get results, it is absolutely ours.

It's true, both sides have their own votes, different people do have different take in regard to this matter, you already provide a good
opinion in taking sides between commission and salary base job.

On my take, I'll go with salary job as I needed stable income each month to provide the needs of my family, though there's also pro's
in doing a commission base job.

But living in a place where budget is always relying with your month-to-month salary, most likely salary job will be the good option.

both have comparable results, salary-based jobs require one to work according to the existing rules and commissioned jobs require to achieve more in order to get what we have done.

I think it's the same and coming back to myself, everyone has a different view of it.
I personally prefer commission work, because in my opinion because it can spur myself to do better every day to be able to get maximum results, and of course also because it will create even better prospects in life that don't just watch with hope. the agreed salary with nothing that could be done to earn more.
it's about pushing yourself to accept challenges and make things that will impact your own strengths too, many good things will be received if you work on a job that gets commissions.

both have positive and negative sides,
but if I had to choose, I would choose commission work, because I want to grow and keep looking for new innovations,
because if the job is salary or monthly, it is indeed a safe zone but tends to be difficult to develop abilities.
