Like you, I also failed to run a small business, I believe that everyone wants freedom, wants to be the boss, but not everyone has the ability to do that. Many people choose to continue working as employees because they know their abilities well, in many cases also open their own businesses but then choose to return to work as employees because they cannot maintain business operations.

Many people work for hire but still have success, many people open businesses but are still precarious. It's hard to say being a better boss or a better employee.
Maybe there is something wrong with what you guys do on why your business fail? Many of us thinks that running a business is easy but it isn't actually. For our business to be successful we need knowledge and luck more than just a capital. If we don't have a background in business then I think we can also hire people that will help us. We only need to pay them though.

We all want freedom so that we can do whatever we want but I think freedom can be achieved not only by building a business. Look at some of the freelancers. I think some of them do still have bosses and are being paid via a salary but they have more freedom than those who work full-time in the office.

I choose salary based job. Though we have our own opinion regarding this matter, but the benefit from it is more visible. Maybe it would be a never-ending cycle of same routine but still it will make you a master of your own niche. This will help you to target a better  position which means higher salary and higher benefits. Then the cycle will repeat. But i would like to try commission-based job that is why I am trying to apply as as virtual assistant (that can have commission or hourly rate).
Hired work has its advantages, but there are more disadvantages, so I decided for myself a long time ago that I would be my own boss. I've tried starting a few businesses, some of them successes better and some worse, but I'm glad I took this step. I do not have a boss who will tell me what to do, I can take a day off whenever I want, and my earnings depend only on myself, in general, I have to work a lot, but it doesn’t bother me, because I feel free.

Good for you but not all people can be a business owner because it requires capital and good management skills to properly manage it to become profitable. Entering business industry unprepared will just waste your time and money compared when you have a job with fixed profit. I try to do business before but fixed bills and employee salary is killing me that makes me  move back to my old job and aim to be promoted for a better salary.

I’m not risking anymore on business but that doesn’t other should follow my path. If you have the capability to do it then push it since that’s the fast estimate to climb the ladder to success.

For me having a stress of sales on my head all the time is a big frustration so I would try to avoid the commision based job.
But last year when I was jobless  - I was ready to do anything.

You are right. when our economic situation and condition is in difficult times (unemployed) then all kinds of jobs with commission or fixed salary are not even a reference. because when we are in difficult times, we must first have a source of income. But when our economy is gradually improving. then we become more courageous in choosing between jobs on a fixed salary basis or on a commission salary basis. and both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

both are good if paid well. and most of the time it depends on the situation as well - while I was jobless in COVID I was ready to work any job.
I even worked for hours to get my $ 5 online when I started as a freelancer. That was very tough time I went through
If you can still make 5$ in a day when conditions are tough like during Covid. That means you have to be more grateful because you basically still have the luck to make money every week, even if it's not a big size. But it's still better because you can still survive on that income if you manage it sparingly for your life.

You must know that in difficult conditions not everyone can make good money, but everyone keeps trying to earn money in order to survive in difficult conditions. And you are very lucky because you never complain to keep working in any condition when you face unusual conditions.

Commision jobs are good for people who have good communication skills. Everyone can't master commission jobs. There are some people who always talk about being loyal, for them salary jobs is the best. I'm much interested into commission jobs, because it is like we receive rewards for the efforts we've took.

When we discuss different things with the client and finally gets the job done with self satisfaction and client satisfaction it gives us some happiness that can't be experienced with the salary jobs.

I saw it too and it is inspiring but at the same time frustrating when you're not hitting the sales and quota that has been assigned you to hit. But that's okay, since when you've learned how to be skillful in sales, you'll eventually get there after a few months of working as one.
You really need to be desperate sometimes just to close a deal. Not really direct to the topic, but I recall a lot of people asking me plenty of questions when I go to the mall especially in tech and gadgets area wherein there would be plenty of salesman/saleslady that would just hustle asking you plenty of questions on what are you looking for while in the meantime you are just window shopping and not really looking to buy anything in particular.

As much as I am annoyed being hustled, I kinda appreciate their hard work of being able to make sales. Those jobs are pretty exhausting, I could imagine.
Im feeling on the same thing which i dont really like on getting asked every now and then and every details which they do really need up.I know its their job but
going into certain extent does really give out that kind of irritating feeling.
When it comes to job then its up to your decision on which one you would really be that in preferring. We cant deny that commission based does really give out that
that chance on making profits specially if you are really good at marketing.
If you arent that good then you would be simply sticking with salary based jobs.

That's still related to the topic and that's the type of job that you really need to hustle and grind. Those salespeople are commissioned base and that's why they need to attract and talk to anyone that passes by their store. They would think of anyone as their potential customer, although it's certainly annoying when I encounter one, I just politely say that I'll just call them whenever I need assistance and if I'm about to purchase any products that they're selling. And that's because I've been one before and I understand the nature of their work.

some people just want to do work - be it a high profile work or a low one. They want to get their hands dirty
I am one of them. so I can go for commision based job too and I can go for the salary based job too.
Those that have experienced how hard to get the job that you want because of competition and sometimes your qualifications are not enough to what they're asking, you just want to have a job that you can work for so that you can provide.

That is correct - sometimes it depends on the situation you are in. There would be time you would not want to have commision based job but at the same time you have no other choice to do the job to earn some money to put food on the table. I have seen both the times - good and bad.

Do you like commission job or salary base job?
I like salary base job, for now, this is my choice. With all advantages that you mentioned and with all disadvantages. In fact, we cannot deny the disadvantages that will always follow whatever our decision.
But, it seems like that sometimes, we may not need to only choose one. If we can earn money or salary from any source, why not? As long as there are chances and we can still make it, why not?

However, if we have more money from both job salaries, this will be more okay, right? We can save some of the money to make some business later. Then, we can build our dream and realize it much better with both salary

Yes, that's how it goes in commission and salary earning. You'll be relaxed more with salary based job because you know how much you'll be receiving plus the deduction and you don't need to force much of yourself.
But if you're younger and you know that you've got a lot of energy to be a work horse then a commission job is for you. What I know with these people that are in the commission basis, they really like to do sales.
Well, there’s no choice actually as you have to reach your daily quota so you can increase your sales and receive a good amount of salary, unlike salary based job that you will receive fixed amount of salary regardless if your performance is poor or excellent. However, it’s also true that if you are still young and has high spirit, then take the challenge to work in commission job based.
You have no choice and that's the motivation. You'll get flex time at most times but you need to reach your quota for commission basis jobs.
The choice is on each of us for which we think is the best to choose for. But the most important is to work at the job that you really like so that, you won't be stuck and at the same time you're always excited to go to your work to be productive and do the tasks that you're assigned to work for.

If you agree with the above point of view, it may be better to work on a salaried basis than a commission job. Popular and stable salary base jobs so that they can provide you with a suitable income and ensure the continuous development of your business. Commission-based jobs have high requirements for each individual in terms of performance to reach a certain level. If your performance is lower than others, your income will drop sharply. Many people who have experienced this think that there is no point in taking on commission-based jobs, which only offer temporary income.

Compared with wage earners who work in the office, those who work on a commission basis, especially sales staff, encounter different types of customers with different needs every day.

This is also the job challenge of salespeople. They must find ways to satisfy customers, answer customers' doubts, and then let customers close deals with them.

Compared with fixed-salary jobs, commission-based jobs are more flexible in nature and have a greater degree of freedom. If you yearn for freedom and flexibility in your work, commission work is perfect for you.

However, before joining a commission-based job, you still need to find a good company and team to ensure that you can get commissions on time and have sufficient resources for your continuous growth.

I currently have a salary base job and I love it. It helps me have a stable income, although it will be quite boring, but when I get used to the job, I will have more free time and can use it to learn about investment channels. No matter what kind of work you do, you should have an investment, only then can you have a more comfortable and fulfilling life.

If we really want to secure money by the end of the month, then salary is the best way to pay our bills. We dream of being rich someday, but settling for a job can't make you rich. As others have said, take risks, do business, or invest; you can earn huge money if it works, though it has risks, and also you can lose it all. So it is better to have both: do your job first, then start investing; then, after you see that your investment is working well, that is the time you'll decide whether to focus on your investment or not.
But there is indeed a risk when looking at salaries and commissions in this case.
As for the salary itself, for example, when we work in an office, it is clear that there are no targets that really demand us, in fact it becomes monotonous at work because it only matches the targets and tasks we want to achieve, after that it is finished. different from the commission which we are required to rack our brains more because our income depends on what we do and maximize opportunities.
This has its own risk of each choice and of course it depends on what we are good at. If you really want to be a little more comfortable without targets every day or month then salary is the right choice, but if you want competence within yourself and have strong motivation to earn more money then commissions are the best thing.

If I could only chose one then I would go with Salary base job since it would secure my expenses and I wouldn't be pressured on how much I would be earning since it is fixed.
Unlike in commission you don't really know how much you could make in the next cut-off.
But if you have some income other than the commission base job then I think it would be better.

Working for a fixed wage is no longer feasible in the economic conditions that led to the disappearance of the middle class in society, which was able to live on a fixed wage. Some may go to get a second job, but this is very exhausting, both physically and psychologically. For this reason, sending private projects represents the best solution.
whatever opinion is here I think it's true. Back again to the individual human mentality, where not everyone can take risks like other people, so if that's the case, salary is a good thing to do. but I personally tend to look for a safe point and then do a side business, so that the salary income I can use to meet daily needs, while the commission I get is to invest and maybe open a new business, until the time comes when I will let myself go as an employee and become an entrepreneur completely
I agree with you on the idea that there are people who were created to live and die as employees performing one job and never thinking of mastering a good skill or even changing jobs. These are often working in small jobs that achieve self-sufficiency exactly without surpluses. I mean, even in the most extreme cases, if he is expelled from his job, for example, or his residence conditions change, he will search for a job to the same degree, and he may die of disability if he does not find it. This mentality has been rehabilitated since childhood, with a complete absence of an example to follow.
