I like the job with basic salary + plus overtime to create stability and long-term.  Simply because I have a wife and children and I need such a job to ensure the life and activities of the whole family.  Everyone has the responsibility and obligation to consider this carefully when getting married and having children.  I think that's the majority of people will choose it.  Business/introduction… contains many risks, especially in difficult economic times, selling products will be more competitive and require great pressure.  You sell enough, your commission is high and you live well and vice versa.

If I were young and unmarried, I would definitely want to try my hand at a commission job. But I same you, have a family and children, so I like a job with a basic salary, it will ensure financial support for my family. Although it is tough to have the opportunity to increase my income with salary base job, it helps me not to have too much pressure in life and have more time to be able to look for another opportunity, such as an investment or a part-time in my free time.

I have to say that salary job is the best.
Because on salary job I don't think you the worker will be forced to put effort on it's job. All you have to do is go to work in the morning and get paid by the end of the month.
While on commission jobs, you will be forced to do so many stuffs and if you can't I don't think you will get your commission. Although commission jobs pays higher than salary jobs but commission jobs is more stressful than salary jobs.
That depends on the personal experience of the people as well.
I have worked for both - commissioned job and salary job but i think one should do whatever is beneficial for them, and start to have a side hustle along. This is a life long lesson I learnt a bit late in my life.

I would rather go for both - this is the high time.
The inflation is hitting hard and we need to work as much as we could.
If both are income with different levels, I would also agree to choose both because now it's starting to look difficult to find additional money to increase the source of income. So it's not wrong to take both if it's both related to income. Besides that, any job now is starting to be difficult to get, so there is no additional income that can come so easily at this time.

Considering the difficulties these days, overtime is like another way to make up with just the expenses you would incur for the next month's bills. Though it is still way better somehow to just freelance instead of doing overtime especially if one resides in a third world country due to the dollar value.

I had done this kind of stuff before and it was hella worth it in my own end. It would even be a plus if you're managing your expenses reaaaaallyy well since you would be able to still get your "wants".

Personally, I like a job with a basic salary, I like to have a stable financial source, and when I have it, I will have time and the opportunity to invest. For me, I prefer investing than going to any job and with a steady income my investment will be better. If my investment fails, I still have a steady source of income to cover my daily expenses.
I think salary base job jobs is the best, because one will be sure of steady income, be sure of getting paid by the end of every month or week, not like commission job that is only based on when you are called, that will be when you will only be paid,  and with the salary based job, whether you did a lot of job or not your salary is sure. One will be sure to have money to take care of his or her needs, money to invest and to take care of the family.
It seems that those are not my words, those are @MoonLife's words, maybe you need to revise this.
Regarding salary work, of course it's a good thing and it's very easy to set up as I said before, we will always easily measure income and expenses that we might set aside some of our money for other needs or to invest and we can see a picture that's from the financial records that we make. While commission-based work is very difficult for us to control, as you said, work exists when we get a call without any certainty how long we can work there, even though the salary offered is quite large, it is very difficult to control, in my opinion.

If I can do these 2 things, of course I prefer commission jobs, this is because usually job commissions are higher than commission salaries, commission salaries are usually obtained from those who are new and have no experience, but if you have experience, of course you prefer commission jobs, but whatever we produce, we should be grateful because the current economic conditions are very difficult.
Doing two different jobs that can add income to ourselves is certainly very enjoyable and it is clear that not everyone will always have it. Because every income from work that we can do will always be worth more in conditions like now. Commissions and salaries from commissions are different, but if someone can get one of the two things. the economy will also be greatly assisted because he can receive income and manage it very well for his life.

I would prefer the Salary based job to the commission job because the income is guaranteed at the end of the month and much more rest assured compared to the expectation of having to meet some certain targets in order to get paid based on commission.
Both jobs have got to have certain advantage and depending on the lifestyle an individual is willing to level by, you would decide on which to go with.

For those who likes a salary job, you've got to be ready for a drawn line kind of lifestyle. There is always going to be a point where the lines are drawn and your activities gets defined around those points. Also, the level of freedom it might grant you. Salary jobs are often not at advantage of the organisation in the sense that, a staff might be sloppy on the job and still get paid but often, staff get paid as much as they work and that's the hard to accept part.

The commission job is one that rewards the hardworking and so its always a perfect job for someone who has got the tike and contacts to make the numbers count. Definitley something i would like as you get to define your pay grade which ain't going to be regular and you have your time.

Commission jobs are only good if you have tons of following in your channels. It must be worth doing since people are ready to dive into opportunities like this because they started small in developing channels with up to 1M subscribers. It's almost like becoming a celebrity when you have that kind of channel either youtube or twitch. Relying just on publishing articles without subscribers is not likely going to be a success.

The advantage of users who has a lot of subscribers is that even the companies themselves are going to look for these influencers. They get paid by the company apart from the commissions they get.

After reading the entire post that the OP described at length, I choose independent work. The types of jobs I mentioned are more challenging and have the potential to earn more than salary-based jobs (status as employees) and commissions. The independent work that I run is in the field of buying and selling agricultural products. Apart from being able to earn an income every day, I can also employ other people.

Those who can earning from the work commission certainly have expertise than those who rely on commission work, I hope that 3 or 4 years can become professional and earnings from the Job Commission, I go to the law in the law and is currently still working in lawyers and makes me know many things To become a legal consultant one day, let alone legal consulting services, especially regarding land disputes in my country very much.

That's good. You have aspirations to become someone who focuses on the field of law, especially land disputes, because that is a service that many people continue to need in the midst of the many cases of land grabbing that are happening everywhere.

In a basic salary job, if you have a good position in a company you work for, your salary is also good no matter what, and the advantage is that having a job means you have a fixed income expected every month. The only disadvantage is that there is a rush because every day you need to go to work from 8hrs up to 12 hours if there are overtime hours. But even if you are an employee, you can insert on your day off the sideline work on the commission job that you are the owner of your time.

And many do this who can keep up despite being employees and others are doing online selling or home-based part-time income.
now is the time when I like both
I can work two or three jobs a day. Although it's too late to realize that  I need financial freedom.

I myself am currently doing 3 jobs every day (actually 4 but taking care of my family I don't think is included lol), even though only 2 (my side hustle) gave me quite a lot of extra money, I feel satisfied with what I did. I think it's not too late for us to be able to do more than 1 or 2 jobs at this time because the conditions in the future are uncertain, forcing us to at least become financially free before old age.

The Commission job brings some certain advantages though, which at the end of the day creates time for you to define and navigate your career plans and other goals for yourself but the possibility of having several clients and potential customers to yourself every week or every month is not assured, you get to convince your customers for several days or probably weeks before they get to agree/accept your offer, this takes quite some time compared to the people that are getting paid at the end of the month. Without you having several win win to your side, you can’t get paid based on commission. The question I would ask myself is can this actually last forever? compared to sticking to a particular salary base job. For how long would I keep looking for targets here and there before I can eventually get my commission?. In other words, the two job has their ups and down bet the amount of positive potentials you get to find in one, you might not get to find it in the other and Our choices are different from one another.

I think a person will be in need of both types of jobs in his life. At the start of the career journey, the salary-based job could be helpful as the worker doesn't have a lot of knowledge and experience in the field he works in, so the salary would help them serve their needs in that period. If the person is ambitious, he will try to acquire the skills that help him build his own business and be independent on the salary. I know not all people think this way, but in this developed world, people should be developed too in order to reach the life style they dream about.

I think keeping your job secure is as important than keeping your passive income - we can have the time and opportunity to invest if we have a salaried job, what's more important is that we can clearly manage all expenses with a stable income, so that we can set aside the money we get from income from a salaried job

the point you have mentioned it valid - but then again i think one cannot rely on the job too. one can lose it in a jiffy
that has happened to me - we don't know when you are going to lose your job - what is the alternative then if that is going to happen
