In a basic salary job, if you have a good position in a company you work for, your salary is also good no matter what, and the advantage is that having a job means you have a fixed income expected every month. The only disadvantage is that there is a rush because every day you need to go to work from 8hrs up to 12 hours if there are overtime hours. But even if you are an employee, you can insert on your day off the sideline work on the commission job that you are the owner of your time.

And many do this who can keep up despite being employees and others are doing online selling or home-based part-time income.
now is the time when I like both
I can work two or three jobs a day. Although it's too late to realize that  I need financial freedom.

Those who can earning from the work commission certainly have expertise than those who rely on commission work, I hope that 3 or 4 years can become professional and earnings from the Job Commission, I go to the law in the law and is currently still working in lawyers and makes me know many things To become a legal consultant one day, let alone legal consulting services, especially regarding land disputes in my country very much.

I will do both to gain experience.
You'll learn more with both but I think there's more advantage for having a personal growth if you'll have more experience in a commissioned job.
The thrive that you're about to set is going to be tough for you and it's more of a challenge because you'll be output based but once you have made a system that's making you getting those job done and getting those commissions. You'll just do it as if they're too easy on you and making it look like that you didn't had hard time from doing so.
When you are on a commission based job then it is really something that wont really be that simple because you would really be needing to have more in speaking about marketing skills and on how you do approach prospected clients or whatsoever.

Its true that they might be treating it out to be a simple job for those who had hired you or even on other peoples perspective but it is really not.
You would be able to find yourself and see the truth once you do step your foot into such work or job where your salary would be basing up into your performance output
which this is the toughest challenge if you arent that good enough and having no marketing skills.

Commission jobs are not really that common to find, it needs to a bit more common before it could be found if you want it and you need to work on your craft a bit before you could do anything. I personally did this, and I had to work really hard to find my job, I was also lucky and blessed to find the best boss in the world, but you need to spend a lot of time in your craft to get good at it.

This is why I spent years to be better and better before I considered making more money. Nowadays I try to make as much as I can without dropping in quality, but I know the max quality I can do and I do not accept any work I do that is anything below that level of quality.

Personally, I like a job with a basic salary, I like to have a stable financial source, and when I have it, I will have time and the opportunity to invest. For me, I prefer investing than going to any job and with a steady income my investment will be better. If my investment fails, I still have a steady source of income to cover my daily expenses.

Yes, of course we can have the time and opportunity to invest if we have a salaried job, what's more important is that we can clearly manage all expenses with a stable income, so that we can set aside the money we get from income from a salaried job, which is different from work. commission, of course we cannot estimate it clearly even though the salary offered can be more than a salary job.
I think commission work and salary work can back up when investments made fail, and I'm sure commission work can still meet the needs. The difference in this case is the certainty of income, which may be a little difficult when commission work manages income.

I don't think there will be any commission based job in the future. But maybe I am wrong. We are already purchasing our daily need products from the internet and can get home delivery. And one thing about selling goods to others can be challenging. You need to know your customer's need. Like for example, if you go to a bald person to sell shampoo, he won't buy it. So you need to choose the right job who sells the products what the customers need, and you have to find them too. Otherwise, your sale count will be zero.

And about salary based job, people are more attracted to it because of the stable income at the end of the month. But the recent rise of AI technology is targeting that too. Many believes that by the year 2025, there will be less job available for us.

But the main topic of choosing the right job. I will do both to gain experience.

Here in mi country as a professional it is more common to get a job based on a salary system and while searching for a job that is usually what people expect, including myself.

So for now, I would look for some job how could provide me a reliable source of income, then later I could try to find another kind of job or even try to start my own business, after I have managed to save some money, that is.
I liked salary based jobs before COVID when Covid hit - I lost my job - and after that I never searched for the job.
I started doing my small business. But I am still lost - what to do with my life. Sometimes it take so long to be financially stable and in my case I am that one!

It's a great idea when you try a small business, the main key to business is patience, to be successful in business there are many things we have to go through, it's impossible in a short time we can be successful in business, I also lost several times in business, but never stopped trying try, the most important thing is that we make anything as a lesson to develop a business.

Sometime it is our culture and society which makes our mind set.
One should not make a decision on his/her own judgement. And keep it hidden from people who would be the problem for you!

If it was their first business, then it is clear why it has failed - lack of experience or knowledge. It is hard to start something new and already be successful in it. I have seen few people that have started something, it was their first and only business, and this business is alive now.

However, I a supporter of a salary base job. Somehow stability in salary buys me. I am not ready to be a slave for years and fork for someone, to have a freedom later. Because this freedom isnt complete. Once you decide to take a rest and let everything go with the flow, something always go wrong.
i totally agree with you !!
the decision is not ours - we have to decide what we have to do. However sometime we are only going with the flow - depending on our situation.

Commission work does seem free to do because time management can be arranged by yourself, but it is burdened to be able to get marketing targets And must be able to sell products in order to get a profit presentation, if there is no product sold then there is no income at all. Unlike the case with salary-based jobs, the work we do every day is clear and there is a calculation of income every month, although it looks monotonous, but salary-based work is quite safe And obviously to get income every month
for me - I have no harm in doing both
I would do a commission based job along with my salary based job.

I generally prefer salary base jobs where I can do all kinds of work as well as invest as I wish. But the job of the commission is not possible to free one's will efficiently a valuable skill exercise for candidates for salary base jobs. While asking for more money can feel uncomfortable negotiating your skills and hard working attitude can result in a satisfying higher salary, so it's important to overcome this discomfort.
Those that want to be in a commission job, they're skilled and know the nature of their work. It's like they'll have nothing if they don't work for it.
That's why they're working very hard to earn more because the potential income is unlimited in this sector but, they'll need to do something to build their network and at least get used to the nature of their jobs. The easier the job gets, the better because the hardship will be seen at the start typically.
Now after several year of work - I believe that one should go with the flow.
some people who were getting good salary did commissioned based job later after the COVID - I wonder what would be the whole staff of twitter be doing after a layoff.

I want a commission job. I do not like to stress and restriction that is one of the features of a salary job. Salary job is so stressful you have to do what your boss says when he says it if not you get your query. And have you ever noticed that most persons who are salary earners do not like their boss? Have you ever noticed the most persons who has salary earners do not like their job? Imagine waking up everyday to go to a job you don't like. But with a commission job you do not encounter this stress that can be avoided. You make your money when you want how you want without thinking about anyone but yourself. I bet you're mental and physical health will improve drastically with a commission job done with a salary job.

Honestly, I'd take either. I get the impression from my 2 years work experience that commission-based pay gives more cashflow than salary-based pay, but that doesn't mean it doesn't come without flaws. For one. The fact that it is based on sales, not on your employment makes it so that if you don't put in enough work, you'll starve regardless if you're on a high-tier role like a manager. In salary-based jobs, you don't get paid for your work, you get paid for how hard it is to replace you. In that regard, you can expect that when you land on a high tier role, the pay is good too. On salary-based jobs, you get paid on a schedule, commission-based jobs do not have this kind of leisure so dry spells are often which is not good especially for first-time employees just learning the ropes. That's why I always suggest to go for slaary-based jobs first when you work as a first-time employee.

You could be able to point out and realize for yourself whether you are really that good in marketing skills or on hooking up people then commission based jobs wont really be that hard for you plus you could make tons of money which is more than with those salary jobs which is of course it would matter on how good you are into this particular field.

If you arent that good enough on marketing then this would be a problem and it would be better if you do stick with salary based on which you could at least make yourself able to
get some salary on doing those works whether you would really be that busy or not but still you are paid in the end of the month or every 15days.

Among these two, I believe it depends on the skills of a person that is doing the job. Some people are so good with sales and stuff that they can make a lot of money with commission based jobs, so they would never prefer a salary based job over it. On the other hand, some people like introverts, they can never succeed in a commission based job since they lack basic communication skills. So, it totally depends on how you can handle it.

I personally prefer own business, no matter how small or big. Be your own boss, and be free to experiment. Commission job must be kind of own business still you cannot earn unlimited in most cases. So, for the people who love to risk, running a business must be more appropriate option in my opinion.
