I also support for this direct eth payment for the bounty but I think ICO's will also give their token as payment for the bounty so it also good for us bounty participant.

I fully support the full or partial payment for participation in ICO in bitcoin or in ethereum. This will somehow protect the payment for participation, for example, in the signature campaign, from the full reduction in the price of tokens after they enter the exchange for trading if the project is unclaimed. Now I am participating in the Milkcoin signature campaign, which fully pays for the campaign participants signature payments in the ethereum.

Yes I support the idea , its very useful for the participants of Bounty campaigns, because paying in tokens is mostly very risky, since there are few number of successful ICOs and valuable tokens listed in exchangers right now, while Ethereum value is stable and going up day per day.

Hey, guys.
Projects raise millions of dollars in ETH. Participants of the bounty campaigns significantly help them to do this.
Would it be fair if the participants will receive ETH for their work? Or 50 to 50?

The idea for bounty hunters is not bad. For me it would be great to get the etherium right away, and not to jostle on the stock exchanges. But probably the very idea and philosophy of the bounty says the opposite: you need to PR and believe in the project so that your future, as yet chargeless coins, are worth something

I think the Bounty campaigns are also good in ETH, since I have seen projects pay also BTC per post.

I think this will be the best. Exchange union tried it and this single strategy saved their coin from being dumped. Today XUC  is  now trading on positive change in percentage  (+%) All bounty hunters that worked for Exchange union were all well paid for their efforts and every one was happy. Just take Indorse for example who paid hunters with their coins that  turns out to only 2USD for bounty of 8weeks.

i prefer to receive tokens in my bounty because tokens will give you more profit than receiving hype coins.

You mean that ETH is a hype coin? Smiley

I support you on this.  But I think it should be 50-50.  50% ETH and 50% token.  That way bounty will be able to enjoy the fruit of their labor and at the same time get to have investment in the project they are supporting.  The 50% ETH payment is considerable enough since the company is already getting ETH from the investors.

Thank you for your feedback.
By the way, this could also be a different % ratio. Not necessarily 50/50. Different combinations can be.

I know a lot of people who are willing to accept ETH as a payment rather than tokens they believe that its more worth than their tokens. I agree for the most part because ETH is a good coin.

If they pay ETH everyone would rush to this bounty and there will be abused things going on.

I maintain that many companies collect millions of dollars. But I believe that they need to control. They need to follow their road map!

My vote is no because if project become big your tokens might worth much more then few dollars worth ETH.
If not you will be holder of worthless tokens which happened to me  Grin
It is actually double edged sword.

I agree. I know a person who both experienced it and it kinda irritates him. So it might be worth taking the coins if the ICO is success. But if not, then it is nothing.

Yes, in most cases (especially ICOs) I support it. Tokens often lose a significant part of their value after ICOs or are not available for trading for a long time. Of course, there are projects whose tokens rise in price several times, or projects offering interesting and promising coins as a reward (as in my current signature), but they are rare.

Yes, this is a wonderful example with LiveTree. And it may be that at the end of this bounty campaign you will select only project tokens if the ICO turns out to be successful and you will see the real growth of the project and the token perspective. Is it possible?

You can also take part in LiveTree campaign, if you don't take part yet. Well, for signature campaigns they accept Full Members and higher, but you can join social media bounty.
As I understood after ICO they will have the right to buy half (50%) of tokens they provide for bounty. So they will decided it and might use the ETH which they collected during ICO.
But in details I would be able to tell you after the bounty campaign is over.

Yes, thank you, I'm probably joining the Twitter campaign. And of course, it would be great if you shared your thoughts on this here by the end of this campaign! Or maybe you will also meet another project with a similar approach, then also share this here please Smiley

update: Still, I can't join, because Members are not allowed into the Twitter campaign. In general, this is an example of selectivity and it's good, but in this case it's better to do based on the real quality of the Twitter profile, but not judging by the rank on Bitcoin Talk.

Direct payment may look appealing but a token paid by quality ICO might worth 5 to 10 times of ether paid as bounty at the end of the campaign
It is rare for campaign to pay you $500 most often than nor you may end up with $500 or more when the token hit the exchange.

Since most ICOs have not enough funding to run the project but to make a win-win situation between the ICO companies and the bounty campaign workers it is better to have an 50-50 option to be fair enough.
That's the best idea for a campaign in order to attract bounty hunters though the disadvantage of it will be lesser funds collected compared to purely alts payment.
As long as the ICO is good and lots of people in the community contribute to it, i think the 50-50 way of payment for campaign is good Smiley

I strongly support campaigns with Ethereum payments. Makes it easier to transact around (faster and lower fees) so it's a win win for the campaign manager and the users helping advertise it.

There should be atleast be an option to choose between Eth and Btc (or any other token)

I wouldn't mind, although the whole point of bounties is to honestly support a project you personally like, so I would actually prefer to be paid in those tokens. I only do bounties of projects I really believe in.
