I think altcoin not competitor to bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is always boss than all other altcoin. Bitcoin market does not support any altcoin, but altcoin support bitcoin. Altcoin price maximum time depend on Bitcoin.
Indeed, almost every altcoin, ICO or hardfork considers itself a fundamental innovation. They do not want to notice that the most significant innovation has already been implemented. True innovation is decentralized digital deficiency. Bitcoin was the first and continues to be the only coin with such a characteristic. Altcoins are about two thousand different types of cryptocurrency. They will continue to develop in parallel with Bitcoin. The competition between them was, is and always will be. This is a normal process. I think that with the price dominance of Bitcoin, the market will solve something, because this is a really big problem for cryptocurrency. Because of this, there is virtually no market, Altcoins are now simply complementary to Bitcoin.
Well if you ask me if altcoins will be a big competitor to bitcoin then all I can tell is you is that it might be possible that some of the altcoins out there will be able to compete with bitcoin in the future but not now because bitcoin is the king of crypto currency and bitcoin has been here since the beginning of crypto currency and bitcoin has established itself as the crypto currency with the highest market value.

Well, It might take a long time but In my opinion only ethereum can be considered as a competitor to bitcoin.oh sweet news are came out from Vitalik. hope we can see increased scalability already in a next year. yeah I agree that ETH is a good competitor, but BTC is still more established as worldwide currency,

Well, It might take a long time but In my opinion only ethereum can be considered as a competitor to bitcoin.
There may be a few who are legit to be called as a true competitor to bitcoin but i don't think it is enough to surpass bitcoin's market cap, price, and its dominance even if it is given a decade to grow.
There is no good output in competiting of every coin this is not good for this industry but we cannot avoid it in every business there is competition in every aspects, but for the good sake of everyone much better if all coins will unite as a team for a good of this business...

I do not think that altcoins will be a competitor. Bitcoin is the one dominating in the market. As we can see there are different alternative coins therefore it is still in pieces, so this will clearly states that bitcoin is dominant. At the same time altcoin are just dependent to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is mostly, the best Crypto in the world, it is the one who started all the opportunities that is there, and that will be there. I don't think there's something that can surpass the legend of Bitcoin. It will be good as it is through the years.
I have strong believing in Cardano. Third generation coin with team full of passion and deep knowledge about blockchain. But at this moment it is impossible 54% dominance is too much to overcame.

It's not just competitors but they have different platforms and different usage. Altcoins and Bitcoin has different functions in cryptocurrency so we don't have to think too much on which dominates the market and has low performance to be invested.
