I feel so bother and that is why I decided to ask this question.

We keep talking about gambling addiction and how bad it is to become addicted, does it mean that addicted gamblers lose money all the time? Do you means those guys doesn't win anything at all? Can they not be lucky to win jackpots?

On this board, we are always referring addiction as a terrible thing but does it mean that those addicted gamblers doesn't win money, are they only bounded to losses upon losses?

In gambling, either you are an addicted gambler, or a serial winner or just a random gambler, one true fact is that everyone who gambles loses money all these time. And this is one particular reason why you only see gamblers flaunt and be bullish about their wins.

Irrespective of the type of English you use, addiction is a terrible thing

The correct answer is yes. Most of the time, it's not just gambling addicts who often lose in the field of casino gambling. Even though I often lose every time I play and rarely win, And if I win, it's only a small amount, and in the end, I still lose.

There is no chance that when I play gambling, I don't win. There are also times when I win, but it's only a really small amount that we can say is not enough to recover the amount of the loss. It's like the house edge is just tempting us to stay on their platform; it seems like that's all.

The problem with gambling addiction is not that it exposes the person to successive losses, but rather because the pattern of gambling practice as a behavioral habit becomes dangerous over and over again. This means that if anyone practices the same habit (assuming it is not a harmful habit) at the same accumulated frequency, he will fall into what psychology calls “behavioral addiction.”

Behavioral addiction is one of the most dangerous types of addiction, even if it does not expose its owner to material losses. The harms of addiction are not limited only to financial losses, but go beyond it to become a psychological habit that harms the behavior and psychological character of the person and affects all aspects of his life.
Gambling addiction makes most people to condemn gamblers because of the kind of things most addicted gamblers are doing lately. Addictions makes people to feel bad about the behaviors of gamblers, mostly no body would like to be a friend to addicted gambler because it might influence them in future if they are not careful. It's never advised to gamble with ones money but no doubt that addicted gamblers will always gamble with someone's money and they will still go an extra miles to borrow and gamble.
Any forms of addiction is really that bad on which there's no way that you could really be able to make yourself that be good when it comes on handling yourself on making good decisions. Whereas, the primary thing the comes up into your mind is on how you should be able to achieve something. Forms of addiction is something that pushes you on doing things on which you do know that it cant really be able to make
good outcome or results into you. We do know that anything cant really be that done well because on the word addiction then you would really be focusing into something which it comes up into your mind
specially on gambling. Having moderation when it comes to spending and on how you would be doing it will really be excessive on which it would be resulting into devastation.

I consider gambling addiction bad, because no matter how they win the jackpot does it make them quit the addiction? Of course not, precisely from the victory will continue to play until it loses everything, that gambling without self-control is meaningless, I mean that the end is losing losing too.

Addiction is not not winning, but the ratio of wins and losses is greater to lose, meaning those who are addicted will lose more, right?

Still gambling must have limits otherwise it will make you worse, don't let your time be spent gambling while you don't make money elsewhere then for me it's bad behavior.

Let's look at gambling with this analogy. Let's take yogurt taking as regular thing you do as gambling, you love it and you can't do a day without taking it. Someone with high blood sugar will likely suffer it if they continue to drink sweetened Yoghurt, that's like got addicted to gambling and then suffer a more catastrophic health condition, the more you continue to take it, the more you endanger yourself which is how gambling is and you may be drinking it and nothing might not be happening at all, that's to say that you love taking it but because you have low sugar, you are not feeling the side effect and that describe people that addicted to gambling but don't have losses.

See gambling as the analogy I just explained above, you don't necessarily need to loss to be addicted to gambling, it's when it becomes something you can't do without you called addiction, you can be in church for prayers and sermon and your attention will be on gambling, that's show your level of gambling bit it doesn't really mean you are suffering from it financially but you might be suffering from it mentally that's why you need some breaks from gambling.

That's why I keep stressing that if you can't play with moderation better not play at all.
This is as simple as it is but many don't see that they're going to listen to anybody even if they know that the reminder is right and gonna be helpful to them control themselves.

First and a few tries are fine and if you can't keep going on with that because you have been incurring only losses, better stop.

But if you can still moderate that and all you wanna do is to continue whichever the results will be, you're good. However, results can also trigger our emotions for real.

Addiction is like a course because you don't even get to enjoy your lucky wins. You want to play all the time. You have delusions that you will make everything back, that today is your day, that you will become rich etc. in the end the house edge always gets to you and you lose. It's crazy what kind of thought process the gamblers have. Some will even go ad far as to say that they will quit when they hit it big. And even on the rare rare occasion that they do, they still keep playing.

That's why I keep stressing that if you can't play with moderation better not play at all.

But it has cure, just that some gamblers don't know how to stop addicted to gambling and they think putting more money is what will help them to recover all the money they have use than to see them losing more.

You want to use your borrow money to win big money to pay back, is what is making some gamblers to be addicted to gambling and even though they win from the gambling center, they will still continue gamble until they lose all the money before they will realize that they made mistakes.

And they will said once they win big money, they will stop gambling , and they will win big money and they will continue gambling, which I have such gamblers around my environment who later got addicted to gambling, and they have sold many of their prosperities but they couldn't recover their money back.

I am trying to answer some of your questions from my point of view. You want to know that addicted gamblers always lose bets and always lose money. In answer to this question, I would like to say that if an addicted gambler gets too greedy in gambling then he may face losses in gambling but there are many gamblers who are addicted but not too greedy in gambling rather. He controls himself and gambles. These gamblers definitely have a high chance of profit in gambling and understand the dynamics of gambling.

Whether an addicted gambler wins a gambling bet or hits the jackpot depends entirely on luck. I cannot guarantee or guarantee when a gambler will win a big gambling jackpot. However, whether a gambler or a non-addict, winning or losing a gambling bet depends largely on luck. Although I myself am such a non-professional and amateur gambler, most of the time I have lost gambling bets and I consider it a cruel irony of my luck.
I do agree that a lot of the gamblers just end up gambling the way they want to gamble and that won't be such an easy situation at all. We should consider how to make it work and that means we are going to see it grow.

A lot of gamblers will focus on how to make it work, which won't be all that easy, and the reality is that we are going to end up with something much more profitable. Of course it is not easy to be a gambler and keep making money, but if you know what you are doing then you are not going to lose much, and there are days when the luck is on your side and you make that money easily. This isn't all that complicated, gambling is pure luck, and while most people lose, sometimes we get quite lucky and make some money.

I am not a medical doctor, but an addiction is I think per se a pathological description for an unhealthy state of mind (and body maybe). You could argue that someone who spends 50% of his life on gambling is addicted, but one guy might do it differently than another. In my opinion any sort of excessive behavior takes away time from other areas of life, but how would anyone argue when an addicted guy makes a few million in gambling in a couple of years? Then it was the addiction that ultimately made the person rich and allowed that person to live a life in freedom.

So the question would be whether the outcome of an addiction could ever be deemed positive? An addiction does not describe a losing behavior in gambling, but rather the total time spent and whether someone can say stop, but why would the person say stop if that person found a way to make money constantly? Is it an addiction? Is it smart to keep going?

But on a more general note I think that if someone spends the majority of time on gambling, chances are very little that the person has the focus and the mechanics under control to reliably stay in the net positive. It more likely points out a weakness that maybe a hint for further weaknesses.

It would be interesting to see though what a doctor would say if someone explains that he is making millions while spending 12 hours a day on gambling for the last 12 months.

The connection with losing money with addiction is not so close. Addiction to the definition of wanting something that must be achieved and when facing a bad situation, it will not be accepted so that emotions and physical no longer unite.
Addicted to gambling, addicts do not accept defeat so that the feeling of wanting to continue to win will be done. Well, that's when the addict lost a lot of money.

Only two gambling. Win and lose.
Why many here direct people so as not to become addicts because it is bad.
Very good if there are gamblers who set the money limit for gambling so that the gambling played can be controlled.
When gambling continues to be in a losing position, the mind must arise that we need a break and come back tomorrow. Means the level of luck is bad.

That’s the problem with addicted gamblers, they never enjoy their money, even if they win. An addicted gambler will end up spending all the money won back on gambling, and they might end up losing it back. No matter the amount addicted gamblers are winning from gambling, you won’t know they have won because they hardly do things for themselves, they are always hoping to increase the money, and they will keep on gambling till everything is gone and they will have to start afresh.

If you calculate the amount lost by addicted gamblers and the amount they have won, then you will see it doesn’t really make sense. The best thing is to stay away from gambling addiction, because you might find it very difficult to stop.

Of course, addicted players win from time to time, and I think the biggest problem among them is that they boast about it with great pride to other players and their friends. But when the moment of losing comes, then of course they will forget to tell everyone about it.

I remember the names of many public streamers who played and lost a lot of money, but there were times when they won jackpots. At such a moment, I thought that this jackpot did not bring this player as much happiness as it can show on the screen. Because before that, he could have lost even more of this jackpot in his entire life. I saw how after that they left and did not return to gambling and public space, as well as those who continued to play after winning the jackpot and lost it without a trace. Sometimes I wondered how they imagine their lives, are they really going to play for the rest of their lives after winning, to be honest, their logic is still not completely clear to me.

I believe that even successful gamers are a little addicted to games. Only this dependence is of a different type. This addiction forces successful players to spend many hours a day at the computer, analyze matches for a long time, study the potential of players, and collect statistics. This is all very hard and boring work that needs to be done in order to win in the long term. But the problem is that no one wants to do this. Nobody even wants to analyze the success of their strategy. This is precisely the weak point in the player’s preparation. Our weaknesses tend to add up. Only a good gaming addiction can counteract this.
If the addictions is only to be stress on the screen then and not losing constantly to the act then maybe we can class that as actually a better addiction than losing and spending time being all stress out. As a gambler there are times that you would experience losses and sometimes winning but the major thing is that you learn how to manage these period because improper management is what really causes the addiction to be well known and noticable by other people around you. If a gambler understand the act of control then he could probably manage his addiction issues be it spending excessive time on the screen or just squandering money on gambling games.

Nothing is ever this simple, if we all had constant losses it'd be so much easier to walk away as clearly the gamble is a easy marker to avoid and improve by not betting.

The complicating and confusing factor is winning, some people if you win too early and have too much success in an easy way its actually worse for you.  A hard won bet that only comes after time and some accumulation of finesse in your actions is going to last you better for years.

An addicted gambler is not always supposed to lose, they can win as well like normal gamblers, but the thing is, that they can't control themselves or the urge to gamble, and even if they win, they can't stop and withdraw the funds and use it for something else but what they do is keep gambling even after winning and eventually lose what they have already won either due to greed or while trying to win more so that they can recover some of their earlier losses.

Gambling addiction is like a curse, a person with millions of dollars can lose all their money in gambling because of their addiction, and this is the reason why a gambler needs to have control over their emotions and have the ability to control the urge to gamble so that they don't lose everything they have or they have won in gambling.
Anyone can gamble, but not everyone is able to control their actions, therefore we quite often see people having problems with the money and time they spend gambling. Maybe everyone has promised themselves to stick to their principles, the amount of money that should be spent on gambling, as well as how many hours of time to spend on gambling, but quite a few people deny it to themselves.

I think this is a normal thing, especially for those who are addicted to gambling, it is difficult to control their emotions even when they are in a winning position, and many people even forget to withdraw their initial capital. Those who are addicted to gambling will face the same cycle every day, because they it is quite difficult to find the same pleasure in other activities.

There is a lot of gambling advice, but a lot of it is also ignored if someone is addicted to gambling. For those who have a lot of money, they are more likely to experience gambling addiction, because they can access it every day and at any time. It all comes back to each individual perception and awareness, although sometimes circumstances require someone to stop gambling, many people also borrow money so they can continue gambling.

Addicted gamblers win games every well. They win even more than normal gamblers but the difference is that they money they won 80% to 90% would go back to the casino and lost while responsible gamblers would used them to do something reasonable. A friend of my that is gambling addict won 1000 US dollars and it was only 200 dollars was used to buy phone and the rest was used to play gamble and in the process he won $300 and loss the rest. That is how they are. They win but they are not using the money to do better things. Some use it to pay credit they owed.
