I have learnt from other people mistakes to scammers. Many bitcoin users are still finding it difficult to identify scammer in the community. Scammer sometime they art like helper in the community to scammer some beginners in the forum. They always demand for someone personal details which is the access for them to have way to your bitcoin which you must avoid such people that always demand for your personal details.
If you truly  study their fake promises very well, you will discover that the person is a scammer not a true helper. They are easy to identify in the community, if only you are use to the community day and night.

beginners are usually the target of scammers.  we must be wary of this kind of scammer who harms many parties.  I think, someone should study the scammers.  because scammers usually give giveaways that make no sense and look inaccurate

Not only bigginers but also the experienced people can also get scammed. The main reason of being getting scammed is that people are greedy and they need quick money without doing any hard work.
To get quickly rich you will be tempted to join these fake giveaways.

Greed is always the main reason even experienced ones would really be having this kind of problem. The difference here is that most of them are aware on possible actions to be made later on.
Whenever you do get scammed then this would really be adding up on your experience but do always mind that there would be always new modus or ways on where these scammers
do really lure on people to make or deposit money and this is where self common sense will be the key on saving up your own ass on possible scams that you could encounter.

Well can you say how you can point out a scammer? How you can understand that this person is scammer or not. Though today i didn’t explain by tricky i will simply explain you something if you understand that thing i hope you may keep your money safe. First of all just thing why someone give you money? Look everyone needs money and money is a things what didn't come easily. We have to work hard to get it. So just think why a person give you soo much money in just under sometime. Is it possible will you give someone from your pocket. Your answer will be no? So why you should trust other who says he will give you double in 1 hour or 1 day if you send him btc. Stop if you see this typr of ad. No matter who is the person he could be world richest person but before doing anything wait and watch the scenario. If you keep your self stop then you are always safe. Greediness kill us always.

I was once scammed which took all my bitcoins and my altcoins, all of it was gone. i remember i was devastated when that happened which led me to quit using this website for a while. but here I am again tryna make some coins on campaigns just like the old days. the only difference is that i have more knowledge to prevent myself from being scammed again.
one thing that makes me applaud you is that you are back in crypto after that gloomy past...

almost all crypto players that exist today must have been cheated at least once but some of them have really left crypto but some have stayed. with the experience you have, hopefully you won't be scammed again 'lol'

Nowadays it is very easy to create fake accounts from popular celebrities, making fake videos and photos is also increasingly difficult to distinguish, this makes us always have to be aware that there are many scams, let alone many malicious programs from various sites and emails so we have to store bitcoin in special computer or laptop.
All identities can be faked. scammers can do anything. but the signs that can be recognized that a scammer is stalking you is that they send a message first by offering some investment and pretending to be a victim of an exchange with the funds on hold. some of the phishing programs that they spread can also be via email or several phishing websites that use sponsors. should be more vigilant, do not give the private key easily.

how did that happen to you? someone told you to withdraw all your BTC and altcoins. how can you believe it?
it is sad, hopefully, it will be an experience for you and all of us.
but how do those scammers get you to withdraw your assets for them?
I'm curious about this. if you like, you can share it here for a lesson for me, as well as others.

Scammers hacked even the Twitter accounts of prominent people like Elon Musk and tried to scam people. And there was some people who believed that it was really Elon Musk. However, they lost their money after figuring out that it was just a scammer. People should never believe someone who says such thing like he/she will make a cryptocurrency giveaway. Nobody would like to give that amount of crypto for free.

Can you believe that the guy who hacked the Twitter account of Elon Musk was just 17-years old (Graham Ivan Clark)? It's a crazy world where we are living. Kids nowadays are really getting in to coding and all that stuff at a very early age and they are able to hack giant social media platforms. But it is sad to see at least some of them using their skills for the wrong purpose. Despite his skills, the guy mentioned here would not be able to find a good job (due to his criminal record), and it will make him further vulnerable to connections with the criminal underworld. Otherwise he could have landed himself with a good job, paying millions of USD per year.

As long as there is a greed in the people. the scammers will exploit it and make people poor.  We need to understand and use common sense when participating in these giveaways.

My unpopular opinion is that curiosity other than greed might have been the reason why some folks would respond to these giveaways. But like it has been said, "Curiosity killed the cat". Sometimes they know it’s probably too good to be true and they’ll probably lose some cash but they’ll go ahead and try it after all just to satisfy their curiosity.

It's not about the absurdity of the manner through which these people are scammed actually. Scams like these are like the Nigerian Prince scam that had riddled our email addresses for a couple of years now, they basically cater the gullible and the internet noobies that are still not aware and accustomed to the culture the internet runs in. Therefore, even if for a regular person this sounds absurd and outright scammy, for these gullible people, this is basically their ticket to getting rich. Best solution for this? Information campaign, and doing your own research.

exactly, conducting an information campaign is very important but it takes great cooperation from all internet activists to spread it to all people in the world, so that not many newbies fall into the trap of fake bitcoin giveaways.  (btw, it was disgusting when i heard that the prince of Nigeria spammed his citizen's emails)
Not really that necessary on going into that extent because there would be still noobs who do fall out of scam due to greed and neglection on reading up on news and updates towards these particular events that should be avoided.

Also, reading up alone or making out some research would really be sufficient if you do really mind that you shouldnt really get scammed or waste up your hard earned money.

On just using up your own common sense then you could really avoid things and everything that do looks to good to be true then you should avoid it on the first place.

That's why we have to always be vigilant every time we interact with cryptocurrency-related activities in mind. If something's too good to be true, it probably is. So might as well shrug it off and get on with the rest of your day, otherwise you may just risk yourself falling for another scam that could cost you all your holdings in the process, and I don't know about you, but I don't want anyone besides me getting their dirty hands on my hard-earned cryptocurrency holdings.

There are some scammers in market who offers you best and make you greedy then they tell you to give your Bitcoin to us we will sell it and earn more profit then it gives and if you give them your Bitcoin or account they cheat your money and Bitcoin or account. Be secure and not share you Bitcoin to anyone share it only with trusted traders.

Scammers are very good at hacking famous people's accounts, and using them to deceive other people. So always be careful with tempting
and unreasonable offers from anyone. Usually the method of multiplying Bitcoin is a scam, because it takes hard work to be able to make a profit
from Bitcoin. If anyone is offering a huge profit in a very short time, he or she is probably a scammer. Actually the fault of many people who are
deceived, because they are too greedy to make an instant profit. Control of our greed is very effective in enabling us to think logically and ultimately
avoid becoming a victim of fraud.

Thanks for warning! I haven't come across such scams yet, I saw different fake projects that claim that they are well-known projects so you can invest, but they were just fakes, so we should be very careful and use links only from reliable sources. Usually it is so difficult to understand if it is a scam or not, even deep research of project can't guarantee the security, so don't use money that you can't afford to lose.
[/quote

I don't know if counting the projects or ICOs that never came to live market after being invested into can be called fake projects but I've witnessed several projects that I never took part in but some of my contacts did and those projects never came into fruition and they think they got scammed, but I think they did it to themselves by not reading their ToS properly

quite surprised that there are still many people who are deceived by the fake giveaway program....even though there's been a lot of news about this kind of fake giveaway, the greedy and stupid ones are still there.

Always keep in mind there's nothing free in this world, if its too good to be true then doubt it. Scammer level up their way of scamming people by creating fake websites/accounts and click-baiting people with promising rewards. So don't be fooled by the trap they've created. Thank you for sharing awareness on things like this. It is highly appreciated.
