Scammers with cryptocurrencies are nothing new. Whenever we see the bull market started, such fraudsters fall prey to false assurances in various ways. So there is no other way but to beware of them. Very beginning of my crypto life I fell into a trap. I didn’t loss much but learned lot. Only way is awareness, should be taken to refrain from this.

Fraudsters often lure you with large sums of money usually in the form of gifts or Ponzi schemes where you are promised weekly/monthly profits. better never be tempted by such a gift otherwise you will end up with the same fate as the person who sent the 1.16 BTC.
It's hard to believe that there are still people who think they can double their crypto with fake gifts with this kind of greed.

None is going to give his money to scammers.
however, because of carelessness, greediness, and also not understand about the scams, they will lose their money them.
they may always think that they will get another big money by doing a certain task or sending a certain amount to the scammers, also including the fake investment. But in fact, they lose their money forever. No investment party that will give you a bunch of big and high profits in a short time.

Fraudsters create various traps and scam Bitcoin. You will always stay away from these cheaters. They are hacking the accounts of big trusted people and stealing money in various ways. A few days ago, Elon Musk's Twitter account was hacked and some bitcoins were seized. So avoid yourself all the time.

very difficult to eradicate something like this.
even though many people have warned but greed and beginners are still trapped in things like this.
indeed for beginners they still do not understand to be one of the reasons but if you don't learn and still rely on greed, this will still be very difficult to eradicate and the victims will continue to grow again and again.
Getting rid of it is something that is impossible because as long there's money in  circulation into this market and some industries then scams would continue to exist. There would be always those people who do

really have some bad plans or mindset to take money on other people via those scams which people are naturally born to be  greedy and once they do saw some  opportunity, they do easily get into those traps

until  they do realized that they had been scammed.Thing here is that you do make your common sense most of the time..-- If everything sounds too good to be true then its 100% a scam.

To be honest, when I first met crypto, I participated in a give away like this, after I lost 1 wallet I started learning that I would never connect my wallet to the web or a link,
sometimes greed. that invites the abyss of destruction
Right now.

Falling with these scams will cost you a lot and that's why there's always the reminder that we're giving to everyone, even not the newbies.

As long as the person isn't aware of the scam, they're likely to fall and because of greed, they'll become the victims of it.

Currently the scammers are still on the loose and we really need to be more vigilant. It's nothing new if there is a giveaway or something like a scam here so it can make us more careful by choosing a safe and good giveaway. For new people, of course, participating in such a scam giveaway hoping that it will be fun, but that's not true we can experience big losses. Scammers certainly understand our emotions where they lure very convincingly and make some people interested and enter their trap. Therefore we must be smarter than the scammers.

As for me you need not to get explode to various people so you wouldn't get scam.
That is what helps make the crypto market a prime space for scammers looking for easy money. To help keep your investment safe, beware of the following Bitcoin scams, such as ponzi scheme, fake exchange.
The best way to protect yourself from scams is to do your research before putting your money anywhere. Only use reputable cryptocurrency exchanges and understand the potential risks and reasonable rewards of your investments.
Don’t believe any claim that promises guaranteed returns; free money; or extremely low-risk, high-return investments. Legitimate investment takes time and patience.

...

New scams would exist in different form and thats why we should really be sensible and we should be aware in towards our actions on particular things.

especially in difficult times like this, where people are confused about finding money to survive. when there is an easy and tempting offer, it will immediately be taken advantage of, often to the point of ignoring logic. I really hate fraudsters, scammers, or hackers who take advantage of their knowledge and abilities to take advantage of others in a very sneaky way.

I always remind my friends, don't trust anyone you don't know from the internet who asks for money for any reason. real airdrops or giveaways don't ask you for any funds.

Some people are smart enough to enter crypto but stupid enough to believe in scammers
well scammers are too brilliant as well that's why some people can't stop their self joining whatever events it is. Especially nowadays wherein copy pasting is a very common way to attract people around the internet. So if you don't have time to make a research first, like always just to assure the offer is legit or not for sure you always have a chance to lost money because of some scammer out there..for me here in crypo space you're smart enough if you always have time to do research because that's the only way to avoid scam people around the internet.

The problem with most fake giveaways is that they conceal themselves as "genuine" giveaways in which newbies fell to their trap. If you see any fake giveaways being spread onto different websites, I highly recommend that you post in under the SCAM ACCUSATION so that everyone could see it.

There are lots of forum traffic coming from people who are not members in the forum. They can utilize the search bar function and if they searched the giveaway, it would notify them that a person has already reported it as a scam. This provides an extra layer of security to newbies and as well as to other members as well.
Fact is that majority of people are way too lazy on searching out even with the basic or slightest hint of information towards certain thing. They do just tolerate on what they do have in  mind specially if greed is
already overcoming their selves.

Scams do continue to exist because there are people who do really get scammed due to lack of knowledge and way too greedy.People once do learn up only when they do lost money.

New scams would exist in different form and thats why we should really be sensible and we should be aware in towards our actions on particular things.

Everyday there is always a victim of this so-called giveaway scam, there lots of naive people in crypto unfortunately, it is very easy for them to fall for this type of obvious scam offer,  if it is too good to be true don't get involved, but some people are too greedy to notice the signs, let's just hope constant reminder will help to reduce the number of victims.

A lot of these scams are appearing and even uses any big exchanges as their marketing strategy. I saw this Telegram group having Thousands and their members are having conversations about sending their BTC and thanking the team for sending back their BTC added by 10% as an airdrop. It was very sketchy though as their conversation flow was always the same. I just hope newbies here do not make a mistake by sending BTC to any malicious address. Don't be greedy guys.

fraud is now happening everywhere, we must be more vigilant, never trust anyone, because in today's world there are lots of weasels in sheep's clothing, sweet in front but stabbed in the back, sometimes they use other people's accounts to try to trick us, so no matter how good we are with someone, don't easily give the bitcoins we have to them..

Greed is embedded in human behavior and it makes people to believe that there is free money in this world. It is very simple actually. There is nothing called free money. Even in the case of airdrops, you need to spend some effort in filling the ERC-20 address and other details. Once you are aware of this, you will stay protected from such scams. And I really don't know why people believe that it is necessary to send some money first to these scams. If it is a real give-away, then you should be receiving money, and not sending it.
