This concept of giveaway is wrong since the beginning. You aren't supposed to send money from your pocket to receive some interest over it later if it was a real giveaway. Legit giveaways distribute money without asking for any amount in exchange. They may ask for a simple task from you, like a sign up, share, like or subscription, but not money.
It could be easily spotted as a ponzi scheme if people stopped paying attention to the label (giveaway) and started observing the content (easy and huge interest = scam).

I don't really know why people are still falling for Bitcoin scheme which usually ends up taking investors money away. Although most scammers do think of new means to make money which is mostly done by using attractive ways of decieving people without being noticed. The urge to make fast money usually lead people to this kind of scam.

quite surprised that there are still many people who are deceived by the fake giveaway program....even though there's been a lot of news about this kind of fake giveaway, the greedy and stupid ones are still there.

What's even more shocking is when people lose complete sense just because some so-called "celebrity" tweets a similar scheme, only to find out later that their account was actually hacked. I remember some people losing hundreds of thousands in a really basic bitcoin "doubler" promotion posted by Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad that these people blindly follow anything posted by certain accounts and it is very hard to have sympathy. At a certain point these people already had enough money to live on comfortably but essentially ended up gambling small fortunes when somebody claims a preposterous scheme to increase their cryptoassets far beyond what could be considered average.
These are classic schemes way back but due for there are people who are noob on this  market who do just simply believe into those claims and giveaways then there's  still people
who do really fall out for this kind of scam. Its just sad that they would  able to realize when its already too late and if you are aware or just making use of your common sense
then you would eventually able to tell that this offer is really too good to be true which does simply means that it is 100% scam because there's no such thing
about easy money and you should be mindful on things for you to avoid on getting scammed.

Another stuff I would like to add in here is that there are also people that wants you to give them Bitcoin so that they'll be trading your money and just return your profits from their trades. They are quite common spam comments in various social media platforms.
Ironically, I stumbled upon one of those scammers in a certain scambaiter's videos.

People jist need to use their common sense to avoid being scammed,
If it is a giveaway then why do they need to pay in order to participate or receive it?
People still falls to those kind of tricks and I just don't know why there are still some who would really send out their money because of those promises?
Because people who don't know will be tempted by the double that scamers give them so this promise is too sweet and in the end they ask for a deposit to participate in exchange for doubling it, so I think this kind of trap is only for those who don't understand the real crypto.

There has been a lot going on in the fall of this fake giveaway trick, even more fake giveaways with other big names so that the reality is true, even though all of them are fakes that cannot be validated.
If any site asks for a deposit just to double then it is scamers.
Scammers will always be here waiting for good chances to scam people. And it happens mostly to newbies or to anyone who does not the whole thing about crypto. And this is the sad reality. Scammers will never get lost as long as there are still innocent people who fall as victims to some too good to be true offers. And with this fake giveaways, greedy people mostly fall for it because of their innermost desire to earn money in an instant and fastest way.

Before joining the project one should read rules and regulation of the project then have to join that. Every project is not safe and secure some of these may be fraud. so don't trust everyone. In this way you will be safe from scammer and hackers. Most of the people easily trust everyone even then they know about scammer and this lead to big loss. It is an easy way of getting rid of scammers.

Scam is everywhere. Giveaway to exchange service, everywhere we can found scammer. Only a great research and smartness can save us from scammers. Scamming with giveaway isn’t new on cryptocurrency history, It’s a common way to scam. But, some scammers really advanced. Be aware from them. Personally, I never believe a giveaway, Where I have to send money.

Everyone will not want to give that. It's just that they don't know, they are interested in what the scammers have to say. Anyone who offers an advantage in the crypto aspect I don't follow. The only exception is the program of a well-known exchange such as staking. Everyone should be willing to investigate before joining some reward program, at least they want to ask someone with more experience.

I often receive emails related to airdrops, winning contests, bitcoin giveaways, and so on, of course with the condition of sending bitcoins for reasons of shipping costs, I always ignore it because this is a scam.

if people dont know how to analyze what is legit and fake are the one one who will get scam with this kind of advertisement or give away promo it is not totally a give away but a Get away promo after the scammer get their money they will run away hahahahha.
what you said is true, if we still make a deposit then it's not a give away but a get away Cheesy

remembering from my past experience that I almost got scammed by a giveaway like this, imagining the profit is real is the first thing that comes to my mind. just think logically that in today's era no one will give their Bitcoin for free.

the taller the tree, the stronger the wind that hits it, as well as us, the longer we play in bitcoin, the more clever scammers try to deceive us, the point is we have to be all careful, don't let ourselves be caught off guard, because one minute just let our guard down, then the scammeers will take the opportunity to steal our bitcoins,

I think this scam.will continue from time to time as long as these.people are still affected.by what scammers.give to crypto investors.especially beginner investors.who are easily.influenced by things.that can.help them.by.doubling the money so that we can.get bigger profits.in a short time, maybe we should.be aware.of this in.giving.bitcoins to.scammers
agree, that this is already a new job opportunity for them (scams) and it is difficult to make improvements other than having to always provide continuous education to all those who are in crypto. it's not a matter of old and new in crypto but when you panic sometimes the help that comes is no longer filtered whether it's true or not, only after the incident realized it. used to still use email, now they are advanced use by telegram, they always watch when there is a difference of understanding between the bounty and BM so they can come as someone who can help the problem that occurs, they don't know it is scams.

That's because there's always a newbie every day in crypto, that's why there are people that are still falling for this giveaway scams, they are stupid, ignorant and greedy which is a bad mixture when entering in something that involves money and then they end up getting scammed and then blaming crypto, it's a cycle.

Never trust someone you don't know.  Lots of scam telegram groups.  By reason of doing airdrops for free but we are asked to send coins to be able to claim the reward.  It's all a scam.  So we have to be very careful.
