To be honest, when I first met crypto, I participated in a give away like this, after I lost 1 wallet I started learning that I would never connect my wallet to the web or a link,
sometimes greed. that invites the abyss of destruction

Is this not the old fashioned fiat doubling and flipping that has now been taken online, It still comes as a surprise to me that people still fall victims to cheap scams like this. It is important that whenever you see a too good to be true offer or something of this nature that you do not make hasty decisions, but rather take a chill pill and ask yourself;

-Why will someone anonymous who is not family or friend related promise to double your bitcoin?

-How are they going to go about it?

If there are no practical or realistic answers to this questions, it is in your best interest to write it off without giving it a second thought.

2021 and people are still falling for it? This is shocking. There has to be a way to stop such activities .
out there there are still many people who have not received education about scams give away on crypto...

what is clear is that those who fall into the trap of this scam must be a little greedy, they do not use logic and are only interested in the promise of profit. Bitcoin is never given away for free just by making a deposit, this kind of activity is a scam.

This concept of giveaway is wrong since the beginning. You aren't supposed to send money from your pocket to receive some interest over it later if it was a real giveaway. Legit giveaways distribute money without asking for any amount in exchange. They may ask for a simple task from you, like a sign up, share, like or subscription, but not money.
It could be easily spotted as a ponzi scheme if people stopped paying attention to the label (giveaway) and started observing the content (easy and huge interest = scam).
Exactly, but what is even more annoying to me is that of the one when they also fall for even Names from big celebs and politicians. Imagine the president of the United States accounts asking for some amount of Bitcoin sent to him before he will send some X amount of Bitcoin back to you, it doesn't make any sense. I believe because we will always have greedy people, things like that will continue to happen.

There are a lot of people trusting the different giveaways on different platforms and most of them required a deposit before making a participation in their event. It's not an ideal thing we will become dependent on the faucets and another giveaway there's no person or group will give a large amount to an unknown people always know that.

Avoid that kind of giveaway telling you to.
Deposit and earn double
This is not a scam.
Claim rewards after giving an identity.

It is an advise for everyone that don't give your bitcoins to scammers. Because these scammers make new schemes such as games, ads etc. You have seen an ad that send 1 btc and you will get 2 btc on your address. These ads are fake and don't send any coins to these scammers. Many peoples send their btc to double their balance but at the end they get scammed. So, please be aware from these fake peoples that always trying to scam users funds.

Some greedy users fall into trap of scammers.

most of the time people don't pay much attention if they really realize that they're promising such a thing is a real account or not and if it's a scammer's account, then comes the greed for quick profit, people become so blind they don't they can see that it doesn't make sense to send X value and receive 2X, they don't ask where so much money comes from to pay 2X to so many people, greed blinds them and as a result they end up losing money, very sad situation
lack of knowledge brought them to this situation. by promising a large return, and we consider it unreasonable, because of their lack of knowledge, then they fall into the trap. And finally it can be known, where in the end they hope for their money back, until they realize that it's all a scam until now there are still many new people who are still trapped, and scammers are always looking for new people

You can have all the knowledge in the world and still fall victim for a scam. They sometimes disguise the scams so cleverly that knowledge about the industry can't necessarily save you. There are also the hidden scams or even projects that start out with good intentions and then turn into a scam. In that scenario you didn't have a chance to identify it as a scam in the first place.

The first mistake that anyone can make is to believe that it is infallible and that others are fools, perhaps that is where we should start, always be alert and above all make the disclosure that the guys who do this type of scams exist.

In fact, other post with a recurring topic that has been discussed countless times, although the OP's  contribution only brings the warning, it is always good to be remembering it, by the way some users do not use the warnings it seems that they need to be scammed to learn the lesson.

One of the keys to avoiding being a victim of scammers is to control our greed, which sometimes makes us not think logically. Therefore, many people
are deceived by being willing to send money in advance to be able to get the promised rewards. But if we can control greed, then we will not
immediately be attracted by the offer of very large rewards. This means that we really have to learn a lot about the crypto world, don't believe
in all methods of getting instant profits. Because it takes hard work and patience to be able to get big profits from investing in cryptocurrencies.
I totally agree with all of you greedy people, they fall prey to scammers, people who want big rewards without working and only a little capital and aspire to big income for people like that who are targeted by scammers.

The crypto world does have a lot of scammers hanging around, because there are always people who don't have the knowledge and experience
they can influence. By promising huge profits, make these people finally influenced and unknowingly give the money they have to people they
don't know. That's because many people still can't control their greed, and finally think with a small capital can get a big profit instantly, which of
course is not possible. The method most used by scammers is by promising double profits, this method has made many people experience losses.
So it must be remembered in the crypto world that there is no easy and instant money making, everything takes a process that may not take a while.

Yes there are still many scammers here and should be avoided. It's not easy to avoid scammers, especially for people who are new to the crypto world. As an experience, in the past I was hit by scammers several times when I first joined and it made me confused. All assets fell apart and forced me to stay afloat. That's why now I'm really warning scammers because I don't want that to happen again. Just make it an experience and make it a lesson in the future. We must be able to avoid the scam itself if we don't want our assets to be lost and lose money.

this often happens to crypto miners who tend to prefer the multiplication process that can make people produce a lot of bitcoins, and this also often happens to some social media accounts such as twitter, because it's not just beginners who will be hit by things like that will but the old players will also experience this for a period that we can't determine when it can happen to us, so we must always remain vigilant against a hack that involves our personal matters.

Some greedy users fall into trap of scammers. They send their valuable assets (BTC, ETH, or other coins) for getting bigger amount from the fake giveaways but they have to bear in mind that no one will give you BTC, ETH for free. This greedy guys should also bear in mind that they shouldn't disclose their private key, backup in the given fake sites. Greed and lack of awareness will bring sufferings to them at the end.

quite surprised that there are still many people who are deceived by the fake giveaway program....even though there's been a lot of news about this kind of fake giveaway, the greedy and stupid ones are still there.

Anyone that still falls for things like this are actually greedy and stupid people even if the message was from famous personalities accounts that's the more reason it should be doubted Grin If this has not happened many times before and people have also spoken against it much time also, then some might say they don't know but that is not the case. It is because people still believe that miracles can happen in crypto and this might be that chance I make quick bucks so they will continue to actually "GAMBLE" their money.

simple scam giveaways can be easily detected but it becomes hard to detect if some famous personalities accounts gets hacked or their website itself . if the original owner wont react fast and warn the public , many can get scammed .
bitcoins is too expensive now to give away it to scammers  . if im only going to give it to them then much better if i give to the person that badly needs money or the poor .

What's even more shocking is when people lose complete sense just because some so-called "celebrity" tweets a similar scheme, only to find out later that their account was actually hacked. I remember some people losing hundreds of thousands in a really basic bitcoin "doubler" promotion posted by Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad that these people blindly follow anything posted by certain accounts and it is very hard to have sympathy. At a certain point these people already had enough money to live on comfortably but essentially ended up gambling small fortunes when somebody claims a preposterous scheme to increase their cryptoassets far beyond what could be considered average.

Yep, but honestly speaking the Elon Musk tweet looked quite good and trustworthy. I wouldn't fall for it but I can see how people can actually for it. They top up the fake by sending their own BTC from their own address to that fake address, pretending people are already rushing in. If you are completely new to this whole game, well, you might feel FOMO... Even though it is stupid to lose money that way, I get the point why a small minority of people falls for it.

Exactly, This is one of the most common scam types that we can easily found especially in social media.
I have ever seen many fake telegram groups also create this kind of scam, creating fake members who always say that they can get earning and profits highly during the real.
And many newbies are tra[ped in this scam. Investing in such certain Bitcoin and then being scammed, our money loses and cannot be trusted.
Be careful on this scam

we have to be careful because there are currently a lot of scammers and phishing webs that can steal your wallet
they hold a lot of give aways, airdrops and fake bounties to get a lot of participant data which will later be used for criminal acts too
and never believe in give aways and airdrops that require you to send a transaction fee

These are classic schemes way back but due for there are people who are noob on this  market who do just simply believe into those claims and giveaways then there's  still people
who do really fall out for this kind of scam. Its just sad that they would  able to realize when its already too late and if you are aware or just making use of your common sense
then you would eventually able to tell that this offer is really too good to be true which does simply means that it is 100% scam because there's no such thing
about easy money and you should be mindful on things for you to avoid on getting scammed.
Once you do experience loss in scams then you wouldnt really really forget on what you had  done and then you would really be aware on next situation that you might face off and able to avoid it directly.

Being a noob will really be likely have the chance on getting scammed since we dont have enough experience and awareness but not always the case since there are  noobs which are clever and those are noobs who do love to read up community feedbacks and real experiences and with that then you  would really be aware into those schemes.

Its just a matter of sensibility neither you do really mind of on making yourself safe from scams.
