It really is discouraging to see that the ico we invested drops after being listed on exchanges. But we have to be optimistic about what the team is doing and not just our greed of profit. Considering that the team is working with an effort of bringing the best working platform for their project is a testament that someday their coin will grow in price and then we can reap the ripe fruit of our patience.

That is always what happen on ICOs this time, it always drop down after it listed on exchange and they blame also the bounty hunters for dumping their tokens which I think they are also right but if they are the best ICOs they can always recover.

Most of the time that what's happen, most of those ico coins who has been successfully added/listed around exchange are being dumped for some reasons that the presale holders and some of those bounty hunters who already have their coins will not wait any longer, so if you have a good glimpse from any project that you think will become usable better to buy it when it is already inside the exchange and wait for the dev to bring it up and start supporting their project.

It is a great strategy and I am using it for a quite long period of time, because investing during the ICO is very unprofitable. It is better to wait until the token will be listed on exchange and to buy it at the cheaper price.

This could be possible if the project did airdrops and bounty or ridiculous bonuses but what do you say of projects like ONeledge, Fantom, Atonomi, Eden to mention few, that started dumping immediately when it enters the exchanges. This is crazy because the question I use to ask myself is why do you invest in something you are going to sell at 50% discount of what you buy it

be careful before joining the project and of course you know everything first, to avoid bad things. lots of evil coins and fraud, so you will be trapped if you are not careful. a lot of ICO fraud but not all ICOs are bad, you have to be careful and find out more so you can succeed.

This might be an annoying thing because the coins have not been sold, we have got a loss. Even if the coin is held until the price rises again it will take a long time.

What comment are you waiting for, a bear market, freezing of projects due to lack of capital for development or a general decline in all tokens.

For ICOs to cope up with price they need to hlt bounty payments for some good amount of time or atleast delay the process of token distribution.

Meehn, I don’t think there is any thing you can do about that. Sometimes it’s best to get off those things earlier before it’s too late, cause most of them usually turn out to be sh#t at last, that’s why you will see a lot of people quickly selling off cause nobody trust them these days. Maybe the best thing you can do now is to sell the one you have and look for another way to make up for what you have lost.

because investors who have bought tokens while still presale will certainly get a big profit when listing in exchange. so they certainly won't waste that time, thats why after listing prices will be drop, so you have to follow them, sell after listing

Now is a bad time for ICO. This is due to the fall of the crypto market. People are in no hurry to invest their money in projects as before. And the coins of most projects enter the market and are traded below the ICO price. But it is possible to buy good coins at a discount.

I believe everything is caused by some people selling their coins with too much low in the price.
I think what they thinking is "they wish for their coins getting sold as soon as possible", and that end up creating disaster on the coins itself.

Sure in this year when i participate in icos, i always lose my money because when the ico hit first CEX the price of that token always below than ico price. I think it's normal because bear market still not over and all coins are decrease too.

Yeh, it's an ususal thing in bounty. After listing tokens are falling in several times. But it's not always, I have one project which made x2 form the ICO price. And I wish that there would be such projects in future.
